He tried to relax realizing, 'Jezell was right, the young lady makes me feel on edge, but why? Seeing her in the mall for the first time, when she collided into us, it was not planned it was an accident, she seemed to be in a hurry to get somewhere, but why were she smiling even when Jezell was rude by showing her the third finger. No one has ever gotten under my skin like that before and it irritates the hell out of me, then her running in front the car, I know it was not on purpose. I could see she was in pain but why didn’t she say something, someone else might have shouted at me because I was wrong, and why was I so ignorant, I didn’t even know it was her.’

It truth be told deep down in his heart he previously did have every intention of being with Jezell and didn't plan to inform his family about her, well not as yet, anyhow.

Now seeing the young lady by the mall he is indeed having second thoughts about Jezell, and maybe even wishing that he didn't have her around.

Caleb felt annoyed, knowing the evening was not too pleasing, with that young lady who kept smiling at him and the accident, and now this with his parents wanting to force him into a marriage he was not interested in.

All he wants right now is some peace and quiet. Plus, why is there an issue with Petal's marriage? Why is it these people keep pushing it as if they have a problem, and they always making some kind of excuse to delay the marriage? They cancel it at the beginning of the year and now in May, what will happen when October reaches? Will they cancel it again?'

Lying down with his eyes close after his mom left the room, Caleb thought about the young lady, asking himself, 'Why am I so attracted to her? is it because she ignores me, or was it because she keeps smiling? if that is the case I should detest her but I felt drawn to her, I feel like I want to be near her and touch her beautiful golden hair.'

Having no choice after reaching home late, although her foot was paining Sarahiah hurried with the dinner preparation. At one time she had to stop and clean the bruise and dress it, also she took two painkillers just to complete the meal. Knowing her dad, he must have already called the others letting them know that he was coming home.

Making each of their favourite dishes, Sarahiah breathlessly rest the last dish down when she heard the little footsteps running towards the kitchen. She thanked God that she had already everything prepared, only to do the final touches and put the few dishes in the oven while she completed the rice and fresh salad.

The sauce was completed yesterday, together with the chicken marinating in the refrigerator. The pie was completed only to bake and was resting in the refrigerator, and so was the rice she had boiled this morning before going to work  Satisfied that she had completed just in time when the sound of her brothers' voices came right after as they called out to her.

I was happy to see them all together, they never come and spend time, so this is a good way to treat them.

The children soon came rushing through the door that separated the dining area and the kitchen while calling "Aunty, aunty." Sarahiah stooped down as she gave each of them a hug and kisses.

"Where are your mom's?" Sarahiah asked them as she didn't hear her sisters'-in-laws calling out to her.
