Forty Nine

"I know sweetheart, but did you just say cash now?" Victor asked.

"Yes, on the spot."

"Okay, only for you. Your friend is getting a better deal than what I just made him fifteen minutes ago."

"I know, you are a sweetheart, and he will like my gift."

"You are paying?"

"Yes, he is selling out and moving to Arizona, new place, new vehicle. It's the least I could do for him, as a short notice favor."

"So, what address he will be putting?"

"Oh, he could use mine, and you could put my name."

"Sarah honey, that could make him angry?"

"What you are worried about? If we put it in the separate names, you might not get your extra bonus."

"You are right, with this sale I will get a nice package,"

"Good, now that, that is settled, when will the next vehicle come?"

"By tonight it will be here."

"Good, I hope you know I love you."

"Then you won't mind marrying me?" Victor said looking at her.

"Haven't you gotten tired of asking? Now can you tell me how many times have I turned you down already?"

"Nope, you know me, all love. I can't even hate any guy for trying, you are so beautiful."

"Yeah, and I am sorry, but you know how dad is and the boys, and talking about that, don't whisper a word about this to them, because they thinks I have eloped with my friend here."

"Got it," Victor said.

"Matt, I thought you forget about me?" Sarahiah said when she saw Matt.

"What I want to know young lady is, you have a business so why can't you buy a phone?"

"Look, just think about it as an early birthday gift."

"Vick, what are you doing here? I hope you are not going to con her into buying another vehicle?" Matt said when he saw Victor standing there.

"Mathias, Mathias, you know me so well, but as you see she is broke, and I am here to sell her friend a van."

"Caleb be careful, he is a con man."

"Mathias why don't you sell your car and I will fix you up nice with one like this," Victor said as Matt saw him tapping the new white van. "I only got two and a faithful customer bought it already, but I am expecting to get some new ones in a few days, and tell Jerod to check me, I have something real nice for him."

"Sarah, who is watching the store?"

Caleb saw her whisper something in Matt's ears, then looked at him, 'Good gracious Lord, what have I gotten myself into? This woman is lying in front their faces with a big smile. How can Mathias buy such lies and can't see through her?"

"Caleb just be careful, my sister can talk your money out of your pocket."

"He is right my friend, I could testify of that. I must have sold her over six cars in the last five years. She is the most schemist person I met in the longest while, from one lie to another."

When Mathias lifted her up he asked, "Are you happy?"

"So, so, will you tell Jerod to call me with dad's report?"
