Seventy Two

Caleb looked at her standing in front of him, 'Her stomach is flat, so where did she put all that subway? Oh God, I love her so much.' Holding her hand, he pull her on top of him, pinning her on the bed, "I need you to come back to my room. If mom and dad know you are staying here they will think we are having problems, and I miss you in my arms. Will you please return?"

He saw her nod as she said, "But I have to complete my work first."

Caleb accepted that answer, then rolled aside releasing her, then sit on the floor looking at her, when she stroked his face he closed his eyes. Sarahiah wondered, 'What is he thinking? He looks so desperate asking me to return to the room. But I know he is just doing this so his parents won't ask any questions. That day his parents left he was so angry, but when I left the room the next day, he was happy. I waited for him to ask me to return but he never did, now they are back and he wants me to return, just for a show.'

Just then her mom words came rushing through her thoughts, 'You must ensure that your husband is properly taken care of, that's a wifely duty, and at no time must anyone know if you and your husband are having any disagreement, especially your in laws.'

'Mom is right, no one must know he doesn't care for me,' she smiled as she touched his nose. "Let me finish, then I will come up."

Caleb opened his eyes as her hand moved away, he realized then that when she touched him, he couldn't seem to think rationally, 'So why does this happen? Jezell used to have her hand all over me and I could have think straight, but when Sarahiah touches me, I just want to take her in my arms and whatever happens after, I don't care.'

Caleb smiled with her response, but the joy for what just happened between us was ecstatic, so he stroked her face and said, "Then let me leave you to complete your work, and Sarahiah, I am really sorry my family eat out all the food you prepared."

Caleb opened his eyes to the feeling of the sun on his face, "Oh God, I am late." He had forgotten he was in the room facing the eastern side, "Honey where are you?"

He sat upright on the bed, he saw all her things were neatly packed aside. Her laptop and briefcase where nowhere, 'What time is it? I must tell her how beautiful she is.'

He organized for work quickly, dressed in the salmon shirt and black pants she pressed and hanged on the chair, then took his black jacket for the pants and hurried downstairs. "Aunty Zelda, where is my wife?"

"Uh, you look handsome. If I was ten years younger."

"Oh, I will still love you the same way, now where is my wife?" as he noticed his lunch bag was packed and a tray was set.

"Son she left early saying she had something to complete, but she fixed your lunch bag and your breakfast tray is here, give me a minute to reheat your breakfast."
