Seventy Seven

"Jerod and Sarah are alike, and as time pass you will learn to understand that a few cravings would follow that hunger, so be patient with her."

"Thanks Darius, it was nice talking to you. I know this marriage didn't start with love, but as time pass it will grow on us, and I hope she will be happy."

Caleb drove away smiling, 'I understand now why she said she was full inside out, but I never thought she would get close to me, much less having a craving to want me. I can understand now whenever she eats what would occur, but suppose I am not around when she eats, where would she go, or who will she go to? Oh boy,' he thought as he felt a restlessness as he drove.

He continued thinking, 'If she is angry with me, will she go to her boyfriend, or she have other means of controlling that appetite of hers, because she sure have an appetite and demand which I love.'

The week passed slowly and Sarahiah still didn't return to his room, in fact she made herself more comfortable by getting a small desk, and set it up in the room to secure her files and documents. No one knew when she went to sleep, and when she woke up early, so they were never aware that she was not in his room.

Her things remained in his room so before he wake up she would fix his clothes for work and take hers. By the time thy wakes up, she has already left for work, but his breakfast and lunch was always waiting. Sometime days passed before Caleb saw her, and since that day with Jezell, Sarahiah kept her room door locked. The way how he used to dock in to check on her, now he could no longer do that, neither do he have access to see what was happening at store one.

Three weeks passed, the Friday of the first week in November he called her asking if she would join him for dinner, she bluntly refused him without any hesitation as she said she already had plans and would be home late.

A few days pass then Mom told us about a thanksgiving Nevil was having. Then as the weeks passed his mom started complaining, which was becoming problematic. he tried his best to make excuses, saying, 'Sarahiah is working late,' but most of the evenings when she returned home, it was always after dinner and the nagging at the table would become frustrating. Nothing he said to her seemed to bother her, she just ignored him as though he said nothing, and it was like throwing water on a duck back, it just bounced off. Caleb was just glad he got a glimpsed of her, and to get that glimpse he had to wake up early.

When her father died the end of November, he promised her family that he would take care of her, although she wasn't speaking with him. A few times he would hear her speaking to someone, he wondered, 'Who it was?' Once he overheard her saying, 'Now is not a good time.' Another time he was about to enter the room, she closed the door abruptly in his face, but she was saying, 'I cannot deal with that matter at this immediate time.'
