He tried to relax realizing, 'Jezell was right, the young lady makes me feel on edge, but why? Seeing her in the mall for the first time, when she collided into us, it was not planned it was an accident, she seemed to be in a hurry to get somewhere, but why were she smiling even when Jezell was rude by showing her the third finger. No one has ever gotten under my skin like that before and it irritates the hell out of me, then her running in front the car, I know it was not on purpose. I could see she was in pain but why didn’t she say something, someone else might have shouted at me because I was wrong, and why was I so ignorant, I didn’t even know it was her.’

As Petal continued to think while continuing her cleaning, 'We were so happy that two weeks, her behaviour only started when she started to go in the store, she have changed and nothing anyone did seemed to please her. I know I was always waiting hand and foot for Mrs. Zelda to do everything, but I have been doing my fair share in the house now, and she find it so hard to give me some money and I get speech of and abuse before she give me some.

'It's a good thing I don't have to buy clothes, and now with Caleb being under heavy strain from mom, but if she takes back the store from Caleb, then what would I do?' she thought as she mopped, 'I might just have to do like everyone else and get a job.'

Caleb went to the bank, withdrawing the money that was in his account and the one that was joined to the store account, then went to the store and took all his documents and belongings, also informing the workers that he resigned so they would expect a new boss.

At the hospital he took Sarahiah, then stopped by the supermarket making grocery. He thought she was resting when he sat in the van, but she said, "Are you done?"

"Do you mind if I go to my home for a few days? I don't want to aggravate your mother."

"It's alright, we can stay as long as you want, only I won't be home to take care with you, I have to go job hunting."

"Mom was angry, so I decided to resign my job, and I returned the keys. I know it won't be easy to find a job, but I will trust the Lord."

"Do you remember the store you were helping me with the accounts?"

"I know they have an assistant manager, you could try them?"

"But these businesses put out ads for such positions?"

"I could talk to the owner for you if you don't mind."

"Okay, if by Friday I don't get something, we will discuss it."

Caleb drove to the back of the house, parking next to the white van, "You are at your own home."

"In my bag have another set of keys, put it on your bunch."

"Thanks Sarahiah, I want you to know I bring Petal earlier, the way mom was quarrelling, and with dad in the hospital, she was afraid to stay home."

"Yes, he was angry with mom for misbehaving with you after Jerod came and took you to the hospital, then he took in and we had to rush him to the hospital."
