Eighty Three

Caleb pondered as he drove, 'Sarahiah did well, who would have thought mom would have behave like this I had reservation hearing she said to put the van in her name but now though matter what mom do it is our. She could fight for my store if she wants to, but I will remain with the van thank God.'

Caleb reached her entrance, noticing a 'For Sale' sign hang up on the gate. 'Oh my goodness, all this has been going on, and not one day she said a word. Was she still getting prank calls? That night she was so scared, is it still happening? And why didn't she say anything to me?'

Caleb drove into the garage, recalling her words from that night so he parked at the back of the house. He opened the door for Petal and took out the bags. Taking the red van keys, he locked the gate as he told Petal, "Don't open the door or gate for anyone."

He travelled back to his parents house, when he dropped out the taxi and walked up the entrance, he saw a man with a touch trying to cut the gate and two police officers standing as he worked. "You better make sure my vehicle is not damage, or four of you will be charged."

"Your vehicle?"

"Yes mom, my wife vehicle, I took dad's vehicle first, so this is Sarahiah's van."

"You wicked child."

Caleb saw the Police handing him a restraining order, so he took it and got in the van, he gave his mom the keys, "When I leave here, I won't need to return, and since you want to fight me down for the stores, here take these one time. I will pass by the store and take my belongings, and mom, the rent for the stores are due tomorrow, and if you don't pay, expect an eviction notice." Caleb heard her speaking but he drove of, leaving her to think what she may.

...

Petal scoped out the house, 'It is clean, I will just pass a broom and mop.' As she was cleaning, she turned the door handles, thinking, 'The two locked doors must be her parents room and hers.' She choose a room for herself, took her things inside and packed it. 'All the years Nevil, Gilbert and Aaliyah worked and manage the stores, not one day they gave me a dollar, and for these eight weeks Sarah married Caleb, she has given me three hundred dollars a week, from after we returned from our vacation. I didn't think Caleb and she will get into each other's life since it was an overnight decision, but I am happy for them and she has been nice to me.

'I will help take care of dad, and when he is better I will go and work, I know Sarah will help me to get work. She cooks very tasty food, and I could learn from her, I know if I ask her she will teach me. Hearing her speak of Jesus is different from when mom speaks of him. Sarah is kind and giving, protruding everything about what she shares about Jesus, but mom just keep complaining about everything,' Petal thought.
