Eighty Two

"I agree, her disguise looks real."

"Yes, and if anyone comes asking, you know nothing of her and we recently bought this house from the Steelton girl because her father dies. We will change her name, and Petal, one one must know about this, now hurry up and pack."

"Caleb thank you, I know that I am not the perfect sister, but I will be good, I promise."

"I know, you have good qualities in you, go on now, we might have to do some cleaning."

While Caleb was packing Sarahiah's things his mom came, "What's going on?"

"I am moving out mom, you don't want my wife here. If she cannot stay here, then wherever she is, I will go with her."

"Why are her things down here?"

"She doesn't like climbing stairs mom, she has been sleeping in this room since the third night we got married. Also, she is not like us, eating three meals a day and snacks between. She only eats when she is hungry and that is sometimes after two days, and when she does eat, she eats a lot. When she used to sit by the table, she was just being courteous because you demanded it. You may have not notice, but she takes time to prepare our meal, but she doesn't eat. There is so much to understand about her, but with your constant quarrelling, my marriage is falling apart."

"You make her sound like a camel."

"Who cares mom? She is my wife, her family loves her and I love her. Now please leave me to finish my packing, we are leaving."

"We?"

"Yes mom, we. Petal and I, she is packing some things for dad because he cannot drive, and I will have to take him for treatment. Petal will take care with him, while Sarahiah and I work."

"Talking about work and drive, since your father cannot drive, I need the documents for the vehicle so I could sell it, and the keys for the store."

"You have store two and three, that's all you are getting. I am keeping my store and the van."

"The van is your father's one."

"Yes, but I sold my car and used my savings to clear the debts from the other stores, my store remains with me."

"It's in your father's and my name."

"I know mom, so let us not discuss this now, my head is not clear from waking the entire night. The sight of my father and wife lying on the hospital bed isn't a nice sight. When I return your keys, you could call Nevil, Gilbert and Aaliyah, and they will manage it, but when you get in more financial trouble, don't call me."

Grabbing Sarahiah's bag and his, Caleb put them in the van then went to Petal's room, taking hers and then his dad's. When all was packed, he took both key then drove out and locked the gate.
