He tried to relax realizing, 'Jezell was right, the young lady makes me feel on edge, but why? Seeing her in the mall for the first time, when she collided into us, it was not planned it was an accident, she seemed to be in a hurry to get somewhere, but why were she smiling even when Jezell was rude by showing her the third finger. No one has ever gotten under my skin like that before and it irritates the hell out of me, then her running in front the car, I know it was not on purpose. I could see she was in pain but why didn’t she say something, someone else might have shouted at me because I was wrong, and why was I so ignorant, I didn’t even know it was her.’

Brushing the tears aside he hoped, 'I just hope I get a call soon, even the S and S stores have't call me.' He rested his hand over her, things had changed in their relationship since he brought her home from the hospital, she doesn't mind that he hugged her, in fact, she sometimes pull my hand over her and hugged my arms and cuddled up to me.

When his eyes closed, he felt her snuggle up to him, kissing her head he said, "I love you honey," He heard her groan and he thought she must have woken, but she was snoring softly.

He was unable to say how long he had fallen asleep when his phone rang, he reached out and took it, then answer, "Hello...Yes this is Caleb Christian speaking...I did...Oh thank you very much ma'am...Yes ma'am...I will be there Monday...Yes, bye."

He rested down the phone, then turned to her and gave her a hug. Hearing her stomach making noise he wondered if there is anything for her to eat. 'I am hungry, but not for food, we could go and celebrate, but she needs all the rest she can get, and the doctor said, complete bed rest.'

He perceived in his heart, 'I could lie with her for a while, then get up and fix her a nice meal.' Satisfied with his idea, he closed his eyes, 'It has only been a week and I get a job. Father, I thank you for your blessing, for providing a job, now Lord I could take care with my family, and Lord, I don't know what had taken over mom, but help her Lord. Turn around the others and deliver them from their bad habits, and give them a repentant heart. Save them from that downhill trend they are heading.'

Caleb continued in his thoughts, 'I trust this is an awakening in our home, I know the people are being very careful with the recession and are afraid to hire workers, but Lord, I know you will take care with your children. You have proven yourself as your word says, 'You have never seen the righteous forsaken, nor their seed begging bread', I know the day will come when you will separate the sheep from the goat, I know I am not perfect and I don't attend church, but I read your word. I am asking for your help Lord, touch my dad, Petal and Sarahiah, give us the heart to forgive and to continue praying for our love ones. I ask all these mercies in Jesus name, amen.'
