Ninety Five

"Let us see how dad will be progressing, in the meanwhile I will give you a little change to take care of him."

"Caleb, he is my dad also."

"I know that Petal, but it won't be much, so whatever you want you won't have to ask anyone."

"I know, but I have money."

"You do? Did mom give you?"

"No Sarah give me."

"Sarahiah?"

"Yes, every week she used to give me three hundred."

"Stop lying Petal."

"I am not, you could ask her if you want. I never steal her money or anyone else, don't look at me like that, I am telling the truth."

"Okay, I am sorry, but do me a favor, if you need anything don't interfere with her belonging, ask me."

"Why it is a stranger could see I have needs, and my one flesh and blood cannot see that?"

"Petal, I didn't mean it like that, I am sorry."

Caleb looked at her leaving with tears, "Why is everyone making what I say sound so negative and twisted as though I am the bad guy?"

Caleb entered the room to see Sarahiah's laptop on, and she was in the bathroom, 'Maybe I could mamaguy her a bit so she could settle down and we could spend some time together. I miss her so much, but the way she was feeling before she fell, I couldn't take any chance, and she wasn't eating or sleeping.' He heard her humming which indicated that she was in the bathtub relaxing.

He took up the files for A&S Store, 'I wonder how her store is doing, she hasn't gone there in almost two weeks.'

He checked the sales and expenditure, 'The perfume section really goes fast, the sales rep was right, the originals does sell faster than the imitation. If I help her, maybe I could learn her technique so when I purchase my own store I will step up a notch. Not like we will be competing, but that won't be for a long time. Maybe if I had never touched my savings, and just sold the third store, I might have sufficient, and a fair chance of getting a loan, but with only the half a million and her dowry, it will only be three quarters of a million. I will need much more than that for collateral, but now is not the time to be pondering about that, my family is the top priority and I could save until that opportunity arises.'

When Sarahiah cleared her throat, Caleb ignored her and hoped she would come to him. He waited, but after five minutes passed and he didn't hear her footsteps, he realized she was not biting. He glimpsed at where she was, only to see her sitting in front her dresser wrapped in her towel, creaming her hands, ten suddenly her towel dropped to the floor and she made no attempt to pick it up.
