The Lord and The King

Axel examines every detail and analyzes it. '...This is certainly an emergence. Isn't that only possible with the human's consent!? I can't fathom how he was able to create such dark magic... But then again, he's the original master of Sigil. The Archimage of all Archimages." The king's eyes show deep concern to say the least...

As the wind stopped, the spell disappears, and only the player is left standing on his feet. Lucifer seems nowhere to be seen!

That is because he's now inside him. "Taraaa... How did you find my newest trick? I'm sure you're questioning how it is possible to emerge without a contract, am I right?"

Axel. "Yes. It is mentioned in every Sigil book, including the Higher key of Solomon, that it is impossible for a demon to amalgamate his body with a human without either, or both contract and sacrifice."

"Hahahahahahaha!" Lucifer lets out a big laugh. "Always with strong proof, aren't you?

Indeed, Solomon did not lie when he said so, though to him this was irrelevant. Asmodeus could tell you a lot about that period of time if you sat down with him, although he still gets scared to death just by hearing his name.

However, what I did in front of you now does not negate the condition. Can you guess why?"

Axel. "If I could, I wouldn't have been here."

"Because these aren't humans to begin with Axel!!" Lucifer so devilishly declares! "How could you miss this blatant detail? You know very well that humans are divided to two kinds, one of them is demonic humans. Those need neither consent nor a sacrifice, their whole existence is a sacrifice in itself!"

Axel looks shocked! "...But then, why did this never happen before? Demonic humans always existed and yet there are no mentions of this technic!!"

Lucifer. "Because they would reach out to us on their own, so why bother exerting effort? Don't mistake this for possession Axel. This is far from that, this emergence serves to completely hide our spiritual energy while at the same time feeding of that of the vessel body. In addition to that, the vessel shows no resistance whatsoever, unlike possession. This, therefore, costs way less strength to control.

And last but not least, the vessel can support and carry out all of our power! Imagine if I decide right now to participate in this game... wouldn't you think I will be the undisputed winner?"

Axel's worry keeps rising. '...Unbelievable, if what he's saying is true... then all of what I planned for is as good as nothing!! I must convince him somehow someway, but how? This is a joker card in his hands...'

"Buuuut, there is one big downside to this sadly." Lucifer announces!

"The vessel can only support a demon relatively compatible with his spiritual power....

Behold."

In a horrific fashion, The Lord of the underground pulls himself straight out of the player's mouth!!! And floats in the air with his big, majestic wings. "As you see, the poor man is nothing but a used toilet paper after one minute only."

Even Lilith couldn't look at the rotten corpse.

"So then, it remains useless for you as long as there is no vessel of compatible spiritual energy."

"Right, for me."

"You mean, it's different for others?"

"No, not necessarily, but they're weaker than me, the weaker, the higher chances they have of successfully merging with a demonic human without ending up killing them in seconds."

Axel takes few seconds to reflect...

"I still don't understand what use this would be for you... Not like you can't take whatever shape or form you desire, you even came here with one." Axel is trying to subtract as much information as possible from the devil's mouth.

Lucifer. "At this early juncture, it is definitely useless for us the Seraphim, or even our lowly minion demons, but it will surely come handy at one point.

The reason I tried this now is simply to test it out, and to teach my children how to do it. Worry not, we won't go on a rampage capturing and subduing any player in our reach. We surely need them to develop and collect as much truth as they can.

And just like vultures, we come at the very end, and take the whole meal for ourselves." Lucifer summarizes it all so beautifully.

Axel. "I see. If that's how it goes then I won't interfere. Either way... you'll be receiving some goods soon enough."

Lucifer looks at the corpse. "Oh this? Yes sir, the gates of hell have finally opened, it shall receive its' first soul to devour."

As he says that, what was left of the corpse slowly started to disintegrate! To where? Who knows...

Axel. "Lucifer!" he calls. The demon King looks at the human King... "Don't ruin this. I'll get mine, and you'll get yours."

Lucifer genuinely smiles and reassures Axel in a calm manner. "Don't worry about me. Our paths cannot meet at a dead end."

"I'll get going then, Lilith... If you feel like it, pay me a visit in my Island."

Her eyes get bright, and lust got written all over her hypnotizing face. "Sure thing, daddy."

"Astaroth, we shall talk privately one day. I have plans you could benefit from."

"We'll see." He calmly replies.

"What about me? You have no words for your one and only friend?" Lucifer asks ironically.

Axel grins but decides not to reply. He calmly walks outside the castle, right by him...

"Abigor!" He calls out.

The servant appears instantly in front of his master, kneeling on his knees and lowering his neck.

"We're leaving, prepare the portal of teleportation."

Abigor. "Yes sir."
