Return To The Origins(2).....

Ignoring the shocked gazes, the elder's cold, stern eyes swept everyone present as he continued.

" Kaya, I understand that you are still young but that doesn't mean you have the right to be disrespectful and throw away all sense of reasoning. Especially, at such a critical time. "

There was absolutely no trace of his usual gentleness that the elder was known for and loved by his countless other students.

Disrespectful????

Sense of reasoning???

Father's words caused a waves of confusion amongst the siblings which was then displayed in their blank looks.

" Father Abraham is right!! You both were too haste to conclude Lia's words, which is why you failed to understand her true meaning. Something that even these little ones understood in one go. "

Nani solemnly criticized them ignoring the increasing confusion, leaving no scope for further argument.

" You both have truly disappointed us today. Especially you Soham!!! Kaya is still young and childish but, what about you??? How could allow your judgment to be clouded by her careless words or were you so overconfident in your judgment that you didn't even bother to listen as to what Lia actually said??? "

Neither of the elders were hot-tempered type but today, their fury knew no bounds. And how could they, when for one it concerns his most eligible student and for the other her precious little granddaughter.

Torn between the ragging elders and aggrieved siblings were Surbhi, Brother Fernandez and the kids. At the moment, they all were at a complete loss and none was brave enough to even approach the elders, never mind calming them down.

The intensity of the situation was more then what Surbhi and Saaransh could resist as a result they ended up being totally engrossed in it. On the contrary, Nitiya, Nakash and Brother Fernandez were able to overcome the situation by constantly reminding themselves of the trouble brewing outside their doorstep.

Because the elders weren't the hot-tempered type, it was a lot of hard work to actually push them to their boiling point and once their it was absolutely impossible to bring them back down. That is until...

" Father... Nani... THAT'S ENOUGH!!! "

Lia's sweet, gentle voice was no less then a spell. All the more when paired with her precious tears and agitation.

She was hurt.....

Deeply hurt !!!

Not because of the siblings words but because of their past and the painful repercussions that haunted them till date.

Every word of the elders directed towards Soham and Kaya were one stinging slap after another for her.

She understood their pain, their rage and their vengeance but, she was helpless for she needed them.

All she could do now was to defend their souls and convince them according to her plan.

Seeing the child defending her cousins even after being wronged by them was soul satisfying to the elders and their fury instantly evaporated to thin air.

They retreated defeatedly.

" See if you can make things work.. " was all Nani could muster up.

Soham and Kaya were also ashamed for hurting their cousin, who in return was defending them. Even so, it wasn't enough to waver their stubbornness.

Their thirst for vengeance was above all, despite of that, being able to spill their hearts out, the siblings were no longer as unreasonable as they were before, which made it easier for Lia to communicate with them now.

" Kaya!! Brother Soham!! I'm sorry!!! Please forgive me. I know that my words sounded misleading. Believe me, I have absolutely no intention of surrendering to likes of them. It's just as Father said, the sun sets only to rise again. Similarly, we have to give in to them only to get what we want."

Lia's choked words were like the soothing medicine on a burning wound. Her streaming tears washed away the years of negativity.

With the toxins out of their way, Lia's words were beginning to make sense to the siblings while her tears were breaking their hearts.

No one had words to speak, all they could do was just silently listen to the crying woman, hanging their heads low.

Unbothered by the silence and the hanging heads, Lia's words kept echoing in the hall as she continued.

" Brother Soham!!! Kaya!!! I know you are upset with me and you have every right to be. Afterall, living in a void reality for years, I was never there to share your struggle, to share your pain or to share your loss. Still, you never once gave up on me, never once stopped protecting me from afar. No matter how difficult and dangerous situations escalated ; nothing was able to waver your resolves, then why are you both giving up on yourselves now??? Why are you willing to let your parent's scarifice go in vain and stoop down as low as them??? Why are you both out for blood ??? Why??? "

More tears streamed down from Lia's eyes like an endless waterfall.

Seeing Lia drenched in tears, the siblings broke down as well because deep down their love for Lia as a family was as pure as fire.

" I'm sorry Sister Lia!!! I'm sorry!!! I didn't mean to hurt you, I thought you would help us take revenge for our parents but, when you said that you were going to give in to them I lost it. They killed mom and dad, they even killed Dadi. "

Mumbling in tears the young teenager cried hysterically in Lia's embrace.

" I'm sorry too, Lia!!! It's not that I doubt you, I don't why but just couldn't control my emotions. I'm really sorry Lia, I didn't mean to hurt you either. In my fit of rage, I forgot that even when you lived in that void reality for years, you still possesed an amazing sense of judgement. I know you have a plan in mind and if you believe our revenge is wrong, then we give up with no regrets. I'd rather be with you then chase something that I know will hurt you and regret for the rest of my life. "

Filled with remorse, Soham's self depreciating words already proved how right little Saaransh was.

" I agree with Brother, Sister Lia. We'll do exactly as you say, we won't go for revenge. Promise. "

That was it!!!

It was all Lia needed!!!

With both siblings willing to give up their thirst for vengeance, they provided Lia the prefect canvas to recreate the fate of the creation.

Relief momentarily washed over everyone for Lia's next words splashed ice cold water in buckets.

When everyone hoped for peace, Lia declared the war.

Knowing that she now has the siblings total submission, she quickly changed tracks.

" That's exactly where you're both wrong??? "

Wave of explosion sparked amongst the others. Nani, Father were completely floored, failing to understand Lia's intentions. While Brother Fernandez, Surbhi and the kids were confused as to what was wrong in Soham and Kaya's revenge and why even after opposing them she was still instigating them to fight.

But none was as confused as the siblings.

" What do you mean Lia?? " Brother Fernandez finally spoke up.

" I mean what I said, Brother. "

" Said what Lia?? " Feeling frustrated with confusion, Soham was at his wits end with Lia.

" Lia, I'm begging you!! Please stop making all these riddles and clearly explain us what exactly do you want??? Please Lia !! "

" Yes Auntie, mommy is right. We're all completely confused. First, you said that you will not leave and that we can't always fight to get what we want, we sometimes have to giving in.Then when dad and Auntie Kaya said that they will fight for revenge then you opposed them. And now, that they are willing to give their revenge, you are again asking them to fight. But why would anyone fight without a cause??? "

The adults laughed at themselves at their serious lack of open mindedness ; Saaransh's gist was a painful reminder of how you can simply ask what you don't understand.

Behind Saaransh was a historical sight to behold. Both the twins kept bobbing their heads up and down in agreement with Saaransh every word. It was historical because never once in the past six years was Nitiya ever on the same page with Saaransh.

Before those three dishearted faces, Lia glad accepted her defeat with victory smile.

" I totally agree with you Saaransh and I do stand by to what I said as well. Because it's always ways better to solve your problems no matter how difficult they are rather then running away from them ; if you don't, then even the world won't be enough for you to run and your problems will be the soul of your downfall for time influence's everything and everyone. "

" But Lia, how can we solve *THIS* problem when on one hand, you're opposing Soham and Kaya's cause and on the other your instigating them to fight without a cause. "

Lia's words gave rise to more questions, opening the divine gates of true knowledge.

" It is not our actions that define us who we are sister-in-law, it is our purpose. As for me opposing Brother Soham and Kaya, wherever did I ask them not to fight sister-in-law??? Infact, I myself am here to fight alongside you all. "

Everyone : "..."

Thrown at the receiving end of the shell-shocked looks, it was now Lia's turn to interrogate.

" Why are you all so surprised??? "

Surprised!!!

" Lianna Abraham!!!! You still have the nerve to say we are surprised when you're the one flooring us one after another???? " Surbhi was straight laced person, therefore Lia's twisted words were far beyond her capabilities leaving her absolutely frustrated.

The elders however, managed to hold on to their patience even though, they had their own brand of confusion and curiosity. They knew that with the real Lia back, their task has come to an end. From now on, it will be the just youngsters who have to carry on with them watching their progress from afar. Therefore, it was important for them to understand their purpose and find their way to understand as well. The elders were confident that with the right question at the right time, Lia will be bound to reveal everything. And time didn't disappoint them.
