No sitting on the fence

"Where are you going to?" Mira asked in confusion. She was inside the kitchen making noodles when she noticed Mia standing by the kitchen door. Not only was Mia tying a sleeping Zee to her back, she had two bags in her hands. It was past eight in the evening, so seeing her like this was rather surprising. 

"You aren't spending the night here again?" 

Mia nodded. She was about to say something else but stopped when she saw the suspicious look on Mira's face. 

"You are beginning to make me suspect that Leo is around and you've been sneaking out to meet him. Otherwise, why would you be going there quite often?" Mira teased, making Mia laugh. She had thought Mira wanted to say something important, but was that it?

"Leo isn't around. But he is coming soon. Very soon," She added the last part with a grin that was too difficult to hide. 

"Oh my! I can already hear the wedding bells ringing in my ear." Mira said happily.
