Very awkward

James was tempted to spend the whole night freshening up in order to avoid the conversation tonight, but he knew he could not hide for long. 

He didn't know why he was so reluctant to talk about this. Maybe because a part of him wanted something serious between them, but he doubted that was going to happen. 

Eventually, he finished his shower and changed into a tee-shirt and shorts before going to his mirror to look at himself. 

"No matter what, you have to handle this correctly." He said to his nervous reflection before exhaling heavily. "You can do this, James." 

Meanwhile, in Mira's room, she was feeling very nervous about this because she didn't know how this conversation was going to go. And she feared that it was going to end up ruining their friendship. But she had to give it a go. Just like Mia had said, there was no sitting on the fence in this case. They were either in or out.
