After the breakfast was done Nick left and told me that he will pick me up at 9 in the evening and we would go together. I thought that I should leave for the bureau early so that I'm done with my work soon. As I couldn't afford neglecting my work apart from the fact that the new institute was setting up.

I left for office and when in the parking space of the office I received a message from Nial if I was free to talk on call and I replied him that I just reached office to finish important work and would talk to him later.

While I was doing my paper work I got another message from him,

"Don't stress out so much, coffee makes everything better".

The message was kind and I liked it so I sent him smiley faces .

After hours of signing of papers I took a break and had a thought that I couldn't go empty handed for an official first dinner with Nick's family. So I thought of buying a gift for his family. So I drove to a florist to buy a beautiful flower vase.I bought a white colour vase with pretty flowers.Now the confusion was about the clothing I decided to wear an indian outfit a saree because I crave for events where I could wear my indian outfits. So I wore a decent pink colour saree and was waiting for Nick to pick me up. As soon as he arrived he got down and opened the door for me , it was a good gentlemen trait which I never experienced with Paul . He complimented me,

"You look amazing Jenna".

"Nick, is it fine if I wear this indian outfit right?"

" Jenna, you can wear whatever you want and moreover you look the prettiest in whatever you wear because of the confidence you carry".

The statement was true, women can carry any attire they want to if they have the right confidence to carry it.

He just played one of his songs which he wrote for Haz and it was so beautiful that we both got emotional.

"This is for Haz, isn't it?"

"It is, this song is one of my songs to relieve nervousness".

Wait? He was nervous ? For what? Okay now is it something I should worry about?

"You're nervous?"

"Yes, this is the first time I'm meeting formally my mom's fiancé".

Oh relief..!! I'm just overthinking, I should not always overthink about stuff.

"Don't worry Nick, your mom is going to start a new chapter of her life just be there for her".

" I will , I always support her decisions".he said this and got a bit emotional . I held his hand for a while to calm him down. I saw this emotional Nick for the first time. As I held his hand there were tears in his eyes I asked him to pull the car in the corner. I told him to let it out because he need to be a confident man when he meets the person who is going to be there for his mom. Offcourse it is difficult for him to see it he just let it out and started crying on my shoulder and I was patting his back and after some time we got into the car and drove to his mom's house. I was thinkin' about how Nick is protective towards his family and was being a support system for his mom. I saw his this side for the first time and felt proud.
