We rang the door bell and I said to Nick to have a happy and confident face.

"Hello sweetie, how are you? Hey Nick come in come in".

His mom was very welcoming and she introduced us to her future husband,

"Hello Nick, nice to meet you again".

"Hello sir, yes same here and this is my best friend Jenna".

" Hello uncle I'm Jenna Kapur. Nice to meet you".

" Hey, nice to meet you too, you look very pretty in this indian dress".

" Thank you so much uncle".

" Yo, we have a guest today".And Nick's sister bumped in.

"Hi I'm Alice".

And all the salutations and greetings just continued.

"Enough of the formalities let's get on the table for food".

" Uncle and Aunt I got a present for you I hope you like it".

And Nick's mom gave me a hug and loved the gift I was Happy that she liked it.

"You never gave me a gift Jenna".

"Shut up Nick". And everyone laughed and Nick was giving me looks. I kind of got along well with Nick's sister she was not that kind with Nick but this happens in a brother-sister bond. And then Nick told his mom about the recent situations of him getting drunk and me rescuing him.

"Thank you so much Jenna , you're really an amazing friend to Nick".

" No worries aunt, I'll be the best friend to him whenever there are his lows".

"Let's continue the talks while having food, please serve urself". Nick's mom added.

" So Jenna tell us about you ". And I told them what I do and everything.

"You're so young Jenna, and you really have achieved great things".

The door bell rang and Nick went to the door,

"Hey buddy, what's up"And it was Nial and I was bit awkward I didn't knew why but I was.

"Mom, Nial is here to join us". And Nick told everyone that he invited Nial as he considered him as family and he was also required to attend the dinner.

"Come dear join us". Nick's mom said.

"No aunt I'm already full". And he looked at me and his small smile brightened.

"Jenna you're here, good to see you again".

" Hi Nial, Nick if you're done we can together sit in the garden".

" Yes let's go" .Nick replied.

And we three went to the garden.

" Nial why did you say again, did you guys met recently? "

" Yes Nick we met at a café and actually had a gala time together".

And Nick looked at me as if I committed an offense,his mood just shifted to a sad face. And Nial's phone rang so he excused himself.

"You didn't mentioned that he met you again". He said while looking a bit spooky.

" He just dropped by my office and asked me if we could hangout so I agreed".

" Great". And after that he didn't talked to me normally he was acting weird. The moment Nial came back he tried to sit beside me and just at the moment Nick kind of pushed him slightly and sat beside me and acted like nothing happened.

"Bro chill out". Nial added

"I'm sorry I lost my control over body ".

And we three started talkin' about random stuff and whenever Nial tried to like talk to me Nick just interrupted everytime. After sometime Nial left and it was time that Nick drop me back to my house.

"Honey you've to be there for our wedding but before that take good care . Hope to meet you soon". Nick's mom added

" Sure aunt ". And we hugged and we left.And we got into Nick's car.

" Nick what's wrong you're acting weird".

" Why didn't you mentioned that you hanged out with Nial? "

" I forgot, it's not a big deal Nick".

" Oh great then I should just drop you back".

He dropped me back and without saying a bye or good night he just left I was confused because it was really not a big deal.

I couldn't stop thinking about Nick getting mad at me .

So I texted him,

"Hey, I'm sorry I should tell you things".

And I waited for the response but he didn't replied I thought that I should give him his space nad would call him the next morning.
