The Merch Launch. (chptr 30)
And we had our breakfast, it was the day when Nick's merch was officially going to launch and I was the director,
"Are you ready Jenna for today?"
"Yes offcourse, today counts one of the big days, We need to be confident and happy".
" I've called the press to launch the merch but Jenna there will be lots of questions asked as our pictures are viral".
" Don't worry Nick as long as we both have each others back nothing is gonna happen".
We took a nap for a while and were ready for the interview and the press conference.
Nick's manager showed us the schedule of all the interviews and it was till 2 a. m. I never knew the celebrity life is this hard. We entered the press conference and Nick launched the merch, everyone was clapping and were happy. Then one interviewer arrived,
"Nick and Miss Jenna can we have an interview". And we both agreed.
"Nick what role does Jenna play in this launch of the merch".
" It was her idea that I should start the merch so that I could connect with my fans more".
And we smiled at each other and the interviewer turned to me,
" Jenna do you think you can manage this director position".
"Sir I've been handling a business in LA and in India since three years and now as a crucial step I trust my capabilities and I think I can do this".
Nick stopped the interviewer and we moved on to the next and then Nick said to me,
"You're really good opiniated person, you can handle the media well".
"Thanks Nick". As soon as we looked at each other some or the other person clicked our pictures. It was annoying for a moment but then I got firmed with it.
The next interviewer was a bit clingy one, he was openly trying to flirt with me and had very inappropriate questions.
"Miss Jenna do you think that Nick Rodrigues is a womaniser? "
" Sir, it's not good for me to give someone a tag which is very offensive and about Nick he's the most comfortable and warm person I've met".
" So miss Jenna apart from Nick with how many men have you been with? "
The question freaked me out, it was so disgusting ,. I just made a face and held Nick's hand he also understood that I was uncomfortable. So he moved me aside and came in between me and the interviewer.
"Sir she is not from the industry I would love if you respect that fact and don't make her uncomfortable".
We were just doing the interviews and it was almost done.
" Nick I'm very hungry right now , let's leave fast".
"Yes sure I've ordered some food in the car, while the driver drives us back we will have it in the car".
" Okay".
We were done with the interviews and left the place.
While we were in the car Nick said,
"Thank you for defending me during the womaniser question ".
" I told you I got your back, also thanks to you when the interviewer made me uncomfortable".
" No worries, Jenna you know what? "
" what? "
" I never knew I would have such a confident , intelligent and wise lady by my side, the way you were talking it was so good. People could tell that you're a perfect professional person".
" You know when I was a teenager I was always clear with my thoughts and words,that made me more clear with my communication skills".
" Great, let's have our food then ". And we started having our food ,it was for the first time I had such a confident company .With him I was more gracious and optimistic. We were actually helping each other to grow which is a biggest sign of a real and true friendship.
