Interlude

Kojiro looks at Dulio, walking away from his cafe with a smile on his face. He must say that the young man is polite to everybody and good with kids. Dulio has this shooting aura that makes people around him begin to relax, and the most surprising thing is that he doesn't know he uses it. When he sits down on the chair, he immediately orders every single menu item Kojiro has. When he finishes eating all of it with a content smile, he orders a massive amount of the cake Gabriel has and begins to walk away to his destination.

"Nii-chan?"

Kojiro snaps from his thought when he hears Sakura call his name.

"What is it, Sakura?"

"Why is that person from earlier on, shining?"

"Shining?"

"En En, Nii-chan have this weird sharp aura with a rainbow color. Fou-kun has a blue flame, and Lilith-chan has purple water surrounding her body."

"... Are you able to see everyone aura?"

"En, Kunou-chan have red fire around he just like Yasaka-san."

"I see…"

He doesn't know how Sakura can look at people's spiritual aura. He knows that she has 'Hollow' as her element because he rescued her from Zouken Matou.

"Nii-chan?"

"Ah! The reason why the person from before is shining is that he is an angel."

"Really?!?"

"Yup"

"Woah!"

He smiles at Sakura then looks at the customer that walks to the counter.

Yasaka looked at the Seraph in front of her. At first, she is shocked when she hears the Four Great Seraph will come to Kyoto and discuss something with her.

"Now, I understand the need for a safe place for your new exorcist, but is there anything the Church and Heaven faction can offer to us?"

"Yes, The church will send some of their high ranking members to help the Shinto faction in protecting their territory. Not only that, but we also will teach the Youkai members some of our techniques."

"Is that it?"

"We only want someplace that can be used for our new Exorcist to train before they get deployed to the battlefield. I think this is fair, No?"

"... Very well. Then we are moving on, to the trade agreement between Youkai faction and the Church."

"Yes, we don't want a discount or anything, just a trade agreement between our faction. Our people can send the medical herb the Youkai faction does not have, and we buy some of the herbs that we don't have."

Yasaka became silent for a minute, thinking about the proposal. While the Youkai doesn't have a more significant profit than their agreement with the Devil, The proposal Michael offers is not bad either. If she can say it out loud, this proposal is great for her people. With the church exorcist's help, she can reduce the patrol time in some areas around Japan, especially in Fukuoka.

"Very well. I, Yasaka agree in your proposal."

"Thank you."

They then begin to create the contract between the Church/Heaven and Youkai/Shinto faction. The contract they sign is only applicable for five years before the contract ends. The reason is that Yasaka doesn't want the Church to create a military base near their capital. While she knows that the Heaven faction will not try to create a military base in their Capital, she is not so sure with the people from the Church.

After seeing the people from the Church/Heaven faction leave, Yasaka sighs a little before ordering one of the servants to get her some tea. She then looked at his advisor, Nurarihyon.

"What do you think about this meeting?"

"I think Heaven is getting desperate against the Invasion of the Vatican."

"Do you think they will lose?"

"No, they will not. However, the Church and Heaven will suffer heavy losses if they don't quickly deal with the stray devil that continues harassing them."

"Why?"

"I hear that they are facing a group of Stray Devil that have a power that can create a monster by using a Biomass around her. This will make the Exorcist overwhelmed by the number of monsters that keep coming. Not only that, but this particular group also has what they call a Tinker, which means she can create something that can support the said group. I hear this Tinker have a specialty in Armor of any kind, from Light Armor to Heavy Armor."

"I see, So I guess I'm too hasty to accept their offer, huh?"

"Ahhh, not at all, my lady. They will not accept anything more than what they offer to us because right now, they can defend their headquarters rather easily, but maybe a few months from now, they will come to Kyoto once more and ask for our Medical herb."

"I see, thank you for insight, elder Nurarihyon."

"I live to serve my lady."

"Next, Is there any new information regarding Diodora Astaroth?"

"Yes, My Lady."

After saying that, Nurarihyon takes out a file that sits next to him the entire time and gives it to her. As she opened up the folder, it was filled with photos of Diodora Astaroth and some people that she didn't know, but there is one particular person that she knows inside this photo. The only person she knows is Katerea Leviathan, the descendant of the original Leviathan.

"What is this?"

"This is the evidence my agent successfully collected when they spy on Diodora. As you can see, Diodora Astaroth has allied himself with the Old Satan Faction. What is their goal, I don't know, but the thing I know is they are planning something nasty."

Nurarihyon then takes another folder and places it in front of her. Inside the envelope is also a bunch of photos, but this time, it was a photo of one of the Stray Devil group, The Teeth.

"Is that the Teeth?"

"Yes, My Lady. Diodora Astaroth and his ally decide to hire the Teeth and cause Chaos. I don't know the reason why they want to cause some Chaos, but I know that will cause a huge amount of fatalities. The Teeth is known for their violent behavior and also their tendency to loot anything valuable in the area."

"Is there anything we can do to kill the Teeth?"

"I only have some idea how to defeat the leader of the Teeth, Butcher."

"Please continue."

"Butchers have the power we call 'Possession'. He/she can transfer their soul to the people that killed them. Not only are they able to take over their killer body but also transfer all the power they previously have into the new vessel. When they possess the new vessel they also get the ability and memory of said vessel and at it to their power collection."

"How much power do they currently have?"

"This is the 14th Butcher currently inside a vessel of a devil from Agares clan. The power of the Butcher right now is; The ability to cause excruciating pain at the range and increased durability. A superhuman Ability, last was seen they can throw a Class 2b truck that weighs 3 tons. The ability to see hearts, veins, and arteries even through walls. Short-range danger sense against physical attacks. The ability to cause festering wounds. The ability to reshape unrefined matter into objects. The ability to cause mindless rage at a short-range. The ability to always hit with a ranged attack as long as the target is within range."

"... That is bad. They also cannot be killed because if they get killed, they will transfer their soul to the people that killed them."

"Yes"

"Is there any weakness to that power?"

"Yes, a few years ago, Butcher was killed by Uriel the Flame of God. Butcher tries to possess the body of Uriel, but because of the difference in their power by a large margin, Butcher cannot possess Uriel and go to possess the nearest person that hurts them, which the exorcist is that is coming; with Uriel."

"So we need something strong enough that Butcher cannot possess and only fight them alone without any help because they can also possess the body that hurt them."

"Yes, or we don't kill them and only seal them for eternity and hide it somewhere safe."

"That is a bit cruel, doesn't it?"

"To the person that follows the cannibalistic lifestyle? No, it was not"

"... Very well, I will ask Amaterasu-sama if she has something for us to use against Butcher. Nurarihyon, I need you to keep an eye on Diodora Astaroth because, by this information alone, this little boy will cause us more problems."

"Yes, My Lady."

After saying that, Yasaka sighs and takes a sip of her tea that she forgot to drink because of the information Nurarihyon brings to her. They only have a few months to prepare for the storm that is slowly coming to Kyoto. He doesn't know if they can face the storm head-on, but she can only hope they can do it.
