Gift to Yasaka

It has been a week since he first met Dulio inside his cafe. After that time, Dulio continued to come to his cafe and buy many foods from his place to be taken home. Kojiro knows that Dulio will give that food to the orphanage in Italy and not for himself. It was a busy week, not only was he busy working in his cafe but also teaching Sakura some Magecraft and also teaching Sakura basic knowledge for her to go to public school. At first, Sakura sulks, saying that she doesn't want to go to school, but after saying that she can go to school together with Kunou, Sakura immediately agrees with him to go to school.

Last week was also a busy week for his patrol because he encountered many monsters and also some Stray Devil in the area. Even though it was rather easy to deal with, it still took him some time to hunt every stray devil and the monster in the city.

He also saw many exorcists walking around the area lately. At first, he looked at them suspiciously, but after Yasaka explained to him about the deal she made with the Church and Heaven faction, he let the exorcist walk around the city without raising an eyebrow at them.

Kojiro snaps from his thoughts when he hears someone walk inside his cafe. As he looks up, he sees Yasaka and Kunou walk to him. He smiled at both of them before saying.

"Good morning, Yasaka Kunou"

"Morning, Kojiro-kun"

"Morning, Nii-chan!"

"Please wait for a second, okay? Need to finish this last dishes."

"Where is Sakura?"

"Ahh, Sakura is inside her workshop, right now she is with Lilith, and Fou try to engrave some rune I teach her"

"Can I see her?!?"

"Sure, her workshop is inside her wardrobe."

"Kay!"

As he walks to the kitchen once more, he feels Yasaka walk to him and help him cook some food.

"So! Why did you invite us here, Kojiro-kun? Usually, it was me who invite you to the palace, or I go to your cafe without you knowing."

"Well, I want to give you and Kunou something."

"Oh? Is it a wedding ring?"

"Hahaha, sadly no maybe next time."

He smiled at Yasaka, pouting after hearing his answer.

"So, what gift do you want to give to me?"

"After we eat."

He chuckles at Yasaka pout, becoming bigger than before. He pinches her cheek lightly before continuing to cook the food. He walks to the Bale of Rice he got from Zelretch and takes out some of the rice.

"Kojiro-kun…"

"Hmmm? What is it, Yasaka?"

"Is that the Bale of Inexhaustibility? Formerly owned by Tawara Touta?"

"Oh, this thing?"

"Yes"

"Yup, I...uh got it from somewhere."

"Somewhere?"

"Yup"

Kojiro can see Yasaka sigh a little before shaking her head.

"You know Kojiro-kun, That bale of rice has been lost for a thousand years."

"Huh, interesting."

"And the family from the descendants of Tawara Touta searched for that bale of rice for generation after generation."

"So?"

"You can sell it to that family, and they will give you anything you want."

"Nah, I want my rice. I don't need any more money than the one that I already have."

Yasaka shakes her head once more, but this time, she smiles a little at his answer. They then continue to cook some breakfast together while having a pleasant conversation from now and then.

"Sakura Kunou! The food is ready."

""Yes Nii-chan""

After saying that, Kojiro hears footsteps coming from upstairs, and suddenly, he sees both Sakura and Lilith on top of her head while Fou is on Kunou's shoulder. After cleaning their hand, they then sit down on the chair and ready to eat.

"Shhh"

They then begin to eat their food quietly. The only one who keeps fighting over a piece of meat is Fou and Lilith. He doesn't know what to do with them anymore. They keep fighting even though he is near them watching their move. So he let them fight as long as they don't cause a big problem for him.

After they finish having breakfast, Kojiro leads them to his workshop inside his bedroom. As they open up the secret door near his wardrobe, Kojiro lets Yasaka, Kunou, and Sakura go inside first before he follows them.

"So cool! It's like a secret lair from the movie!"

"What is this Kojiro-kun?"

He walks to the table and picks up a cloth he prepared the other day.

"Here is the thing I want you to have, Yasaka."

"Miko outfit?"

"Yes. However, this is not an ordinary Miko outfit."

He walked to one of the mannequins in the room which was already wearing the same outfit as the one on his hand.

"This outfit has already been enchanted by me to withstand even a high-rank spell. Go ahead cast your best spell."

Kojiro sees Yasaka hesitate a little before nodding her head and creating a massive ball of foxfire, then launching it toward the mannequin. After hearing an explosion happening in the test room, he looks at the mannequin that doesn't have any burn marks anywhere.

"As you can see, this outfit will nullify any magic that is coming toward its wearer."

Kojiro smiles as he sees the shocked face of Yasaka while looking at the Miko outfit on the mannequin.

"This outfit will protect you from your head to your toe. While it nullifies any magic that comes toward you, it will not hinder any magic you want to cast."

He then passes the Miko outfit to Yasaka, who still looks at the cloth in shock while Kunou takes the outfit excitedly. After giving the outfit to Yasaka and Kunou, Kojiro takes out another device from his Pocket Dimension.

"This is another thing; I want to give a gift to both of you. While the outfit will protect you from high-rank spells, it only provides a low to medium level of physical protection. This is a device I made to fill that hole. This necklace will generate a thin layer of forcefield around your body and protect you from all the Physical attack and magic attack as well."

He wears the necklace and deactivates his force field then activates the forcefield from the necklace.

"Come on, Hit me."

Yasaka looked at him with a weird expression.

"Don't worry, just hit me."

Yasaka nodded her head after a few seconds. She then raises her hand and punches him right in the stomach. After hitting him, Yasaka raised her eyebrow a little.

"What do you feel?"

"It's like I was punching a wall."

"Yes, That is the force field that protects you from getting any harm. While you still feel the force, it was not as bad as getting direct contact from the source. This force also will generate every minute, so if it gets destroyed, you can avoid getting hit while this forcefield is regenerating."

He walked to the table once more and took a pair of sandals on the table, and gave it to Yasaka.

"These sandals will give you a boost in speed while running. Please try it."

When Yasaka wears the sandals, they walk to the Training room that he upgraded and make it more spacious than before, making it perfect for a testing area.

"Now, put a little bit of your chakra or magic into the sandals and try to run"

After hearing his instruction, Yasaka begins to 'run' or rather blink away from them and appear at the end of the room. After a few seconds, Yasaka gets back to their location with her 'blink.'

"These sandals can make the user faster. These sandals can reach up to Mach 3 minimum and Mach 4 Maximum. However, I suggest you train yourself in using these sandals before you wear them in a fight. You need to know where you are going before it can be used effectively on the battlefield."

After finishing giving all the items he wants to provide them with, They then walk outside the workshop and go to the living room enjoying some tea while the children stay inside his Training room to test their new equipment (Kunou) or practice their magic (Sakura).

"Thank you, Kojiro-kun. For Everything"

"It was nothing I-Mphm!"

Before Kojiro could finish his sentences, Yasaka kissed him on the mouth. They continue to kiss for a few seconds before looking into each other's eyes. Kojiro hugs her tightly and says.

"It's no problem, Yasaka. You are my family now."

Sakura and Kunou want to take some snacks from the refrigerator, but they see their Nii-chan kissing with Yasaka nee-chan. Sakura looks at her Nii-chan with wide eyes while Kunou smirks at her.

"See? My mother will be Nii-chan's mate, then we will become a true sister!"

Sakura looks at Kunou with a smile on her face and nods her head excitedly and says.

"En! We will be sisters!"

"Yay!"

"Fou!"

"Shhh!"

Both children run to the bedroom, excitedly with their pets on their shoulders. This is the day they know that they will become a real sister.
