Intruder and How to Deal with It

Kojiro walked to the Yasaka palace with Sakura holding his hand. Both of them get invited by Yasaka to go to her palace. As they arrive in front of the gate, the royal guard leads them to the dining room, where he sees Yasaka and Kunou sitting down on the chair waiting for them. When they see Kojiro and Sakura walk inside, he can see the face of Kunou brighten before running toward him and tackling him.

"Whoa there."

"Nii-chan! You come!"

"Of course."

After Kunou releases her hand from Kojiro, they sit down in front of Yasaka and Kunou.

"So, what do you need me here?"

"Oh? I can't invite you to my palace just for having fun?"

"Well, you can, but I have a feeling you need me here for something."

"Well, yes, I want to show something. However, first thing first, we eat."

"... Fine"

They begin to eat after the servant puts down the last food on the table. When they finish eating the food, Kojiro lets Sakura, Fou, and Lilith play with Kunou in the garden while he and Yasaka walk to her office.

As they arrive inside the Yasaka office, Kojiro takes out a bottle of sake and two cups from his Pocket Dimension before pouring some of the content inside the cups.

"Drinking sake in the morning?"

"Yeah, I can't drink anymore in my own house because some old bastard gives Sakura a book about sake and its effect if I always drink it."

"Then he must be a responsible old man, in my opinion."

"... Yeah… Responsible…"

"Anyway, here look at this"

He takes a folder that Yasaka gives him and opens it. As he opens the envelope, he looks at a bunch of young woman photos inside the folder.

"What is it?"

"That is Diodora Astaroth peerage member."

Kojiro looked at the photo and nodded his head a little. While he knows about Diodora from his previous life, he never sees the face of his entire peerage member except for his queen.

"And?"

"Did you know that all of them is a former Holy Maiden and Nun in the church?"

"Yes, that is the reason I warned one of your royal guards the other day."

"Good, because Nurarihyon says that they are watching your house for more than a week."

"I see… so that is not only my feeling."

"Oh, you know?"

"Yes, I see them around the area more than a few times and enough to make me suspicious."

"Good, because you will not like this."

He then picks up another folder Yasaka gave him, and inside of this folder is another photo of Diodora peerage, but this time, they are touching the bounded field around his house.

"This is a photo of them snooping around your house when you are patrolling around the city or going to my palace. I ordered my advisor and spymaster, Nurarihyon, to capture them before they could breach your barrier but keep watching them if they only watch the barrier. If that offends you, I'm sorry, but I can't capture them if I don't have strong evidence. I don't want to strain our relationship with the Devil faction. Once more, I'm sorry."

"No, I'm not offended by that action. I understand your position. They also don't do anything but look at the barrier, so I'm good with this action."

"Yes, I must say that your barrier around the house is the top tier barrier I have ever seen."

"Thank you. So is there anything you want to give me?"

"Yes, I must inform you that Diodora has hired some magician to try and infiltrate your house or at least plan some ear inside your house."

"The old fashion way?"

"Yes."

"I see, Then…"

Before he could say anything, he can feel there is someone successfully creating a hole inside his first barrier. While the first barrier has a job as a shield against the one that has ill intent, it can be rather easy to breach if people know how to do it. The second one is the one that makes the people inside the bounded field unable to use any magic whatsoever. The third function is the most lethal bounded field he makes. It needs manual control, and when he gives his bound field permission, then it will automatically liquefy the invader in a second.

"What is it Kojiro-kun?"

"Someone inside my home right now."

"Is it one of Diodora peerage?"

"No, this is the magician you are talking about. Now he has already gone from my house."

"So, he only placed one of the bugs inside."

"Yes"

"What will you do?"

"I will take care of it. I think their base is not too far away from my house."

"Take care."

"Will do."

He uses his Kaleidoscope to teleport himself to the nearby alley from his house and then walk to his house. As he walks inside, he immediately can tell the location of the bug, which is in the corner of his cafe, upstairs, his room, and Sakura bedroom. He then quickly goes to his workshop and turns on his computer. It only takes him a moment to track where the base of this magician is.

"Gotcha"

He smirks a little as he hacks their system. He doesn't know why he did it; maybe it was a Zelretch habit rubbing at him. He then activated his Kaleidoscope and teleported himself to their location.

Rick and his friend look at the monitor in front of them. They successfully infiltrate the house of their target. They don't know what their client wants, but they get paid handsomely if they successfully record all the activity of the owner of the house, especially the little girl.

They must use one of their artifacts to penetrate the barrier around the house and then restore it to its previous condition so the owner will not know about it if they plant some bug inside his home.

"Turn on the computer. We need to start recording."

"Yes, sir."

As he sees the monitor, it shows that they are connected to the camera they placed in the house. After waiting for a few seconds, it begins to show an empty room. They continue to watch the monitor; however, a few seconds later, the monitor starts to change and suddenly shows three almost naked muscular men. However, it does not stop there as he begins to hear a sound coming from their speaker.

"Ayayayai~."

When he is about to order one of his men to fix it, he hears the door behind them get thrown away, and coming from the outside is a man wearing a traditional light purple umanori hakama and kimono while holding a very long Bitchu Aoe blade on his hand.

He sees his men try to attack the mysterious man, but before they could attack him, they already get cut down by the mysterious man sword.

"Please don't kill me!"

Rick looks at the mysterious man in front of him while pleading for his life.

"Then start telling me who is sending you here and for what."

"Yes Yes"

He then begins to tell him about his client and their mission to the mysterious man.

"Good, Thank you."

"Then will you…"

Before he could finish his sentences, his vision began to fall from the head to the toe of the mysterious man. The last thing he sees on the man's face is the murderous eyes of a predator ready to kill its victim.

Diodora walks inside his office and sits down on the chair. He rather pleased himself with his plan. He already hired some professional barrier breakers to spy on his target. With this, he can learn the schedule of his target and prepare himself to strike at the right time. Afterall he prefers a long game than a short game. He likes breaking the will of life inside his target then rebuilding it himself.

As he tries to take a sip of wine, he suddenly cannot move his body. He tries to use his magic and demonic power to his dismay; he cannot do that.

"Well, well, well."

He looks to his side, and suddenly, coming from the corner of the room appears Kojiro, the guardian of his target.

"The little devil cannot move whatsoever. How is it to feel so helpless and unable to do anything against your enemy?"

Kojiro walks toward him and then squads down and leans closer to him for a second and then gets up and sneers at him.

"What? Can the little devil speak? Well, if you cannot speak, then I will leave my gift here, okay?"

Kojiro squatted down once again and took out something from his cloth. He looked at a syringe in Kojiro's hand.

"Do you want to know the gift I will give you? This…"

He pointed his finger on the syringe on his hand.

"... is a syringe filled with the Fluoroantimonic acid. The strongest acid is known to men. While it is not as dangerous as it is to humans, this acid still can kill a devil just fine. However, because of your natural, demonic power, it will only torture you for at least a few hours, but after that? It will dissolve naturally because of your rather high demonic power. However, inside this syringe is not an ordinary Fluoroantimonic acid, I use my magecraft to enchant its effect to become stronger, strong enough that I cannot find anything in this world that can contain it. I use my magecraft and a few special devices to let this fascinating acid inside this syringe. Now, if I push this baby inside your body…"

Kojiro then begins to stab the needle into his arm and slowly push the acid inside his body.

"You will immediately begin to feel an unimaginable pain all around your body. Don't worry. it will not kill you immediately because I already modify it to increase its intensity little by little."

Diodora silently screams as the agony inside his body becomes more painful every second, but every time he tries, the pain becomes more powerful.

"Ahhh, the paralyzing effect should be gone after 5 hours, but don't worry, you will become a goo by that time."

Kojiro slowly gets up and looks at him one more time.

"Yorokobe Shounen. Your wish to get my attention has been granted. Now goodbye, may we never meet in the afterlife."

Diodora continues to 'scream' as the acid slowly eats his entire body. He continues to feel an unimaginable agony inside his body, and after 5 hours of torture, he finally gets a sweet embrace of death.
