Attack on Kyoto (III)

~10 June 2008~

Kojiro looks at the hole on the mountain before shaking his head and seeing the stray devil around him, ready to attack him once again. Without wasting any more time, Kojiro disappears from his position and appears in front of Antares then swings down his sword at her. She tries to block his sword, but sadly for her, his sword is not an ordinary sword as it cuts through the forcefield around her.

*Splurt*

He sees Antares left hand get cut off by his sword and quickly without giving her time to think, Kojiro swings down his weapon once more, but before his sword could kill Antares, Damsel of Distress uses her power and blasts his sword and destroys it.

"Cih"

Kojiro quickly takes out Monohoshi Zao and leaps away from another blast of destructive energy coming at him, followed by a horrible ear-splitting noise. As his ear starts ringing, he looks at Antares appear in front of him and raises her hand and begins to punch him.

Kojiro dodges the incoming attack and begins his own counter-attack by crouching down and thrust his sword at Antares's head. Unfortunately, Antares avoided his attack to the side, but fortunately for him, he already took out his handgun from the Pocket Dimension and shot her.

As his bullet successfully hurt Antares, Kojiro leaps away from another blast from Damsel of Distress, then quickly crouching down as a bullet made of green energy passes him. He looks at the end of the road and sees Miss Militia holding a Sniper Rifle Barrett M82 in her hand.

Kojiro takes another stance and points his sword at Antares.

"Shunden"

After saying that, Kojiro disappears and appears above Antares and thrust his sword at her. Seeing Kojiro, Damsel of Distress uses her power to throw herself at him using the high recoil of her power. As Damsel of Distress tries to use her power as a shield to protect Antares, Kojiro disappears once more and suddenly appears at Miss Militia's location and swings his sword at her.

"Oroshi Sanren"

He thrust his sword at Miss Militia three times at high speed and killed her instantly. He looks at the last two Stray Devil and takes another stance.

"Hiken - Tsubame Mai"

Kojiro dashes at his enemy and then does a quick slash at Antares making her guard break and then does a quick slash from all directions. When he cut her remaining arm and tried to cut off her head and finish the fight once for all, destructive energy came at him as he barely avoided getting hit by it.

He looks at the Damsel of Distress, preparing to attack him once more as Antares already flies away from him and tries to retreat. Seeing her try to flee, Kojiro jumps away and creates a platform under his feet and begins to chase after Antares. Antares tries to fly away, but sadly for her, Kojiro is faster than her making her easy to catch and get killed by Kojiro. After cutting off the head of Antares, he sees Damsel of Distress try to flee from the battlefield.

Kojiro then uses his full speed to catch her and even leaves a shockwave as he chases after Damsel of Distress. He arrived in front of her in a blink of an eye and raised his sword high. Seeing him appear in front of her, Damsel of Distress raises her hand and tries to blast Kojiro using her power, but before her power could touch him, Kojiro appears behind her and stabs her in the heart before cutting her head off from her shoulder.

He then runs to his home and sees many magician corpses on the ground while Lilith and Fou protect it with their body. He looks at the remaining force of the invader and sees a familiar face, the young man in front of him has another arm sprouting from his back. On each arm, he holds a sword, each sword releasing a demonic presence or holy presences, and each one of them is powerful on its own.

"Siegfried"

He is one of the members of Hero Faction and the holder of five demon swords. When he arrives in front of his house, he feels a burst of mana all coming from Yasaka palace. He looks in the distance and sees a giant nine-tailed fox standing on the palace.

He looked at Fou and Lilith before saying.

"Fou, Go to Yasaka palace and help her deal with her problem and no holding back."

"FOU"

Kojiro snorted a little after hearing god's voice in his true form. His voice is deeper than before, making it a little bit weird after hearing his cute little voice.

The magician tries to keep Fou from getting at the palace, but their effort results in their death as Fou uses his power to kill everyone on his way. He looks at Lilith and says.

"Lilith, protect this building with your life."

"Shaaaa"

Kojiro nods at her after hearing the 'confirmation' from Lilith and looks at Siegfried in front of him.

"Sasaki Kojiro, Swordsman that can go toe to toe against god's themself without any help from sacred gear. You should join us, as we are the heroes this world needs!"

"You heroes? Hah! You people are a bunch of terrorists rather than heroes. No, I will never join your faction."

"I see, then let see who is a better swordsman."

Kojiro doesn't want to waste any more time as he wants to help Yasaka, take a stance. He takes a deep breath while pointing his sword at Siegfried.

"You have a gene of the original Seigfried, huh?"

"Yes, I'm the only one that can handle Gram the Strongest Demon Sword ever created."

"Then, I only want to say this before our fight."

"What?"

"Do you know that Dragon is only a bigger swallow?"

"Wha-"

Before Seigfried could finish his sentences, Kojiro already moved and activated his Noble Phantasm.

"Hiken - Tsubame Gaeshi"

A second later, Siegfried already got cut down. His first slash-cut down his left arms and the second slash cut his right arms while his last slash-cut Siegfried in half killing Siegfried in an instant.

He looked at the rest of the magicians in front of his home. After seeing the death of their squad leader, the magician tries to escape, but every teleportation spell they have is not working and only resulting in an explosion.

"You will never leave this place. I name this bounded field as the Hunting Ground because I will be the hunter, and you people will be my prey. So prepare yourself."

After saying that, Kojiro begins his hunt while his prey tries to survive. Sadly for them, the hunter is angry at his prey.

Yasaka already changes back into her humanoid form and looks at the corpse in front of her. While the Youkai faction only has a small casualty, she still feels sad at the loss of her people and sits down in front of her palace, releasing a sad sigh. She knows that she should not be sad at the people that give their lives to protect her, but she can't help but feel sad at the loss of her fellow youkai.

As she mourns the loss of her fellow youkai, Nurarihyon walks toward her and says.

"Yasaka-sama"

She looks up and sees Nurarihyon, who still has blood on his cloth and standing on his shoulder, is Fou, the Giant Wolf of Death, or known as the pet of Sasaki Kojiro. If Kojiro-kun is not sending Fou to their location, then she will never know what will happen to them.

"Is the Butcher truly gone?"

"Yes"

"Then, can you tell me about how the Butcher is dead?"

Nurarihyon chuckled a little before saying.

"Fou-kun here eat the Butcher. I try to seal the Butcher using the Death Gourd, but as the soul of the Butcher gets sucked into the gourd, it slowly disappears into nothingness. Fou here 'talk' to me or rather show me through mind magic how he eats the Butcher and destroys their soul."

Yasaka looked at the squirrel-like creature on Nurarihyon's shoulder in shock before saying.

"What can I do to repay you, Fou-kun."

"Fou Fou Kyuuu Fou"

After saying that, an image of a feast appeared inside her head. At first, she is shocked a little as Four is 'talking' to her about his desire, but after a few seconds, she chuckles at his demand.

"Very well, I will prepare a feast for you, will it be good enough for you?"

"Fou Kyuuu Fou"

Their conversation comes to a halt as Yasaka feels someone is walking inside the newly created barrier around the palace. Yasaka and Nurarihyon run toward the gate with the rest of the troops that can still fight. However, as they arrive at the gate, Yasaka widens her eyes as she sees her beloved Kojiro-kun walk toward the palace. Yasaka looks at Sasaki Kojiro with his sword in hand while his entire body gets covered in blood, and not only that, she can see Kojiro's eyes looking around the palace like a predator searching for prey. However, as his eyes meet her, it begins to soften, and slowly Kojiro walks toward her and hugs her tightly.

"Thank god you are okay. I don't know what will happen if something bad happens to you."

"I'm here, Kojiro-kun…"

"Yes, you are here, safe and in one piece. That is enough for me."

As Kojiro releases his hug, Yasaka smiles at him before saying.

"Fufufufu, is Kojiro-kun falling in love with the little old me?"

"Yes, I do."

That answer shocked her to the core as her face began to change into a tomato. However, her shock is not stopped there as Kojiro kisses her on the lips.

"Yes, I do fall in love with you."
