77. So many people having plans, but...

Wen Delun knocked on the door. "You know your own condition. To most children, I wouldn't even try to say this as they wouldn't understand. You can't get angry."

A calm voice could be heard from another side of the door. "Come in."

Wen Delun came in and saw small girl calmly cleaning the mess she made. "What happened?"

She stopped for a moment but then continued. "I think all the anger that gathered for a while broke out because of something small. I became ridiculous. That is the reason I sent them away. To see me like this, I felt its quite ashamed. To lose composure, how disgraceful."

She put away the dirt she just swiped and went to wash her hands while Wen Delun sat down and looked at her with worry. "You had so many things gathered deep inside. To get angry is fine. But gathering negative energy is bad as well. This time you just released the anger in a simple way, but as you hold no malice you just turned the room into a mess. But I can see it on your face, it's not gone, isn't it?"

Shu Ya sighed and sat on another side of the table and just drank tea. After a short silence, she looked at him. "I am just a decade old. Most children my age become angry, throw tantrums or play around. But for me to live a calm life, I have to think about this and that. Luckily I have many people by my side that are making life easier for me. But now I snapped at them, I feel bad even tho they are my servants."

Wen Delun knew she would be like this so he knocked on the table to get her attention. "If they are bothered only by this little bit of anger, then let them go. They are not worthy then to be by your side. Fine, while I am around I will teach them many things. Among them as well how servants should act. Your people are just a bunch of wild horses."

Shu Ya started pouting. "Hey pointing at them and meaning me? How the servants are is usually how the master is. I'm not a wild horse!"

Looking at her hilarious expression he started chuckling. "Nope. You are a wild pony. Too little to be a real horse."

"Hey! Ponies are cute. What do you have against ponies?!" From outside the two men could hear them bickering and laughter and finally released a deep breath of relief.

Mingli pushed Bolin towards the dining room with a serious face. "Tell them what happened and what outsider thinks of this household and its master. If they don't learn well people will gossip and point fingers at our miss. We can't have that."

Bolin nodded and rubbed his hands with a big smile. "If they don't learn well I will have some work finally."

Mingli just rolled his eyes and shook his head. "Just eat and speak to them normally. And please explain to them the situation, should we tell them about arrival?."

Bolin shook his head. "No, but I will tell them to start acting properly even in front of Wen Dalun. He is not a servant. He deserves respect as well. I fear his background is not simple."

Mingli agreed and pushed him further. "I have the same thought. Now go. I'm hungry as well." Then he walked to the main room and stood still near the door. Somehow he felt something big will happen soon.

While she was talking to Wen Delun, on the other side in capital a man sat in the teahouse and slowly drank his tea. Looking at busy streets he turned his dark eyes towards the man that stood with bowed head and icily spoke.

"So, you wanted to get rid of a little girl whose mother is Bai Zhenzhen?" He couldn't believe the stupidity of these people.

The man shook as he heard the angry roar. "Noble, please do calm down. The child was just kicked out of her fraternal and maternal family. No one would have missed her."

Suddenly a teacup flew towards him and hit his forehead. He dropped on his knees, not even daring to check on his injury.

"Idiot! That child is such a large target that everyone is looking there. If something happened to her, do you think it could stay hidden? You could have just given her a huge amount of money and she would have accepted it. That little girl is smarter than most people I met in my life. You are such an idiot. Now, what is done is done. Did you clean up so no one can see that was someone inside?"

The man bowed. "Yes, no one would be able to connect Noble with that case."

The noble just waved his head and pointed towards the door. "Now go."

As he left his eyebrows scrunched and he just gave away a long sigh. ''One more week. Just one more week and I am done with you.''

Inside the room, the noble sat on his chair and looked at the beautiful flower petals that floated in the warm water. A flowery scent was released from the tea making it quite tasty, but noble just sat there in deep thought as the tea became colder and colder.

On the other hand, two people panicked. ''She is alive? How is that even possible? I have clearly given enough money to that damn girl to poison her. Now all the fame she will get from gifting away OUR silver mine will fall on her back. We must find a way to take it away from her before they find out.''

''Didn't the City Lord already send messages trough the birds? I think you are kind of too late to stop anything.''

''Stupid. Would I let such a thing happen? Before he gets any message from the Capital, months will pass. If we kill her and sign her again under Bai name, our family might get a chance going back. Unfortunately, we had no time to dig the silver out. If we had some time...''

''We still can. Gather people. As soon first snowfalls we will start digging. We can then blow the entrance and win twice. We can have a bunch of our silver in our hands and as well reward from the state. When I think about it, that stupid child did us a huge favour.''

They both chuckled as they started making plans not knowing that their plans were doomed to fail...
