Life Of A Senior Was No Difference

Well, then Lu go look for a seat. Ms. Patterson sounded a bit calmer but that was because Principal Jan clearly stayed to check. I looked around but there weren't many seats open and everyone kept their eyes on me. A girl sitting in the back right corner said: "there's a seat here next to me."Everyone was shocked that someone even dared talk to him they knew who it was so that shocked them a little bit more but what shocked them the most was what happened next.

Lu sat in the back but instead of sitting next to her, he took the empty seat on the left side of the room by the window instead of next to the door where she was. Everyone was shocked because the girl who told Lu to sit next to her was Lily the prettiest girl in school. Lily never let anyone sit next to her no matter what not even if the teacher told them to. She didn't even let her only friend sit next to her. Lily is always too cocky because she always had the title of the prettiest girl in school everyone always complimented her for her good looks and body no one would ever reject her and she always rejected every one. Even her family spoils her.

She's always rude to everyone but no one really cares since she is so pretty. They even felt as if her rude comments were compliments. Everyone in the class just looked at Lu, Lily, Ms.Patterson, and then looked back at each other everyone except Lu had the same expression. Everyone looked at each other again and again. Since they all had the same expression they knew each other's thoughts without saying them out loud. Lu was the only one confused he didn't even know what was going on he was starting to think that his school was a little too weird. Lu couldn't help but think, why is everyone acting so weird today? Did they think I was trying to be rude?

I just wanted to sit by the window to see the view it wasn't as if she cared if I sat next to her or not. And the people that had seen me before have been acting surprised as if they never saw me at school before. I did get a little taller but I don't think I've changed that much at least not enough for them to overreact this way. I always thought the life of a senior was no different, the only difference is what comes after, but if everyone's senior year started or starts like this I'm starting to understand what they meant. Everyone was thinking to themselves how can one person make such a dramatic difference in a small amount of time and wow this school year sure is going to be fun.

Next thing they knew they had been so focused on what had happened and on Lu that a couple of minutes passed the bell for lunch had already rung and no one even noticed.  When they all realized that people went to buy food at the cafeteria and others started taking out their containers full of food. They were all curious to know what Lu was going to eat but yet again they were all staring at him and shocked. He didn't get up to get food and he also didn't take anything out. Was he really not going to eat? They were really hoping to at least know what kind of food he ate, how much, and if possible which container he uses.

Anything just any clue about him but yet they still got nothing. He really was mysterious they couldn't figure him out a single bit no matter how much they tried. Lu didn't feel awkward as they stared and talked about him he didn't even pay attention to what was happening around him he was just calmly looking outside the window. Lu didn't even know that since he got there he had been the center of attention. The girls couldn't stop describing his good features and boys couldn't stop talking about how cocky they thought Lu was for rejecting Lily's offer. The boys were all just jealous that it wasn't for them. Lily usually went to the bathroom with her only friend Madison but this time she was too embarrassed she went on her own.
