Lu's Favorite Hiding Spot

Lu suddenly stopped looking out the window and couldn't help but notice that everyone was still staring at him. All he could think about was what did I do wrong this time? It bothered him a little bit because he couldn't figure out what was going on the whole day it was all getting too weird. I seriously have some bad luck people don't know me and already don't like me. I didn't even do anything. I guess I'm not even allowed to breathe. Oh well, that's their problem.

Lu got up and left. People were starting to wonder where he was going. They thought he was finally going to get food but he wasn't heading there or the restroom. People realized they must have bothered him by staring too much so they all decided not to do it again. Lu went to his favorite spot it was on top of the school no one else knows they can go up there. Lu went there often almost daily since his mom often kicks him out of the house. The only time she doesn't kick him out is when Jason has his day off.

There have been many times that Lu had to sleep on top of the school. The first time's he got kicked out he had to sleep with the same clothes he had forgotten a sweater. That day was really cold in fact it was the coldest day of the year. For that reason he started to prepare himself just in case there was a next time. But he had no clue it would happen as often as it did. Lu leaves a hidden box with three blankets and a pillow. Jason had bought Lu blankets and pillows without their mom knowing. Jason thought they were for one of Lu's friends but he didn't think much about it. He just questioned Lu a little bit because he never saw any of Lu's friends. He didn't know he really didn't have any at all.

Since there wasn't a place to plug in his alarm he asked Jason if he could buy him one that only works with batteries. He leaves another box with clean clothes, shampoo, and soap. Lu brought some hangers from home to dry his clothes, takes showers in the boy's locker room before anyone gets to school, uses the sinks to wash clothes and drinks water from the sinks as well because the water fountains don't work. So far he has been lucky enough to not get caught. Even though the reasons for him having to be there aren't good he still really likes to be up there. The school isn't too ugly but the best part is the view.

It is quiet but not too quiet to the point that it would bother you. It was a really good place to think and it was way better than being at home with his mom and brother Aron. {Aron is Lu's twenty-four-year-old brother he usually in a bad mood and likes to get others angry.  He's always selfish, he only helps others if he benefits from it. He likes to cause trouble.} Lu stayed on top of the school he often tries not to think about anything because he often has flashbacks and thinks about his dad's accident.

Time went by fast since Lu often zones out. He went back to class and finally relaxed when he realized people stopped looking at him.  When Lu was about to take a seat Ms.Patterson looked at Lu as if she was very bothered. No one can help but think, what did Lu do now? What was he doing when he was gone? Before they kept thinking of more reasons as to why she was looking at him that way Ms.Patterson interrupted their thoughts and said "Lu you're going home" Everyone started thinking again, who gets picked up out of school early on the first day? There seriously something odd going on with that kid.
