"So can you tell me why this happened?" Francis threw those cold words at Sebastian while clenching his fist, and his back facing Sebastian and Val while he was looking outside the Window in his office.
"I...I was having a conversation with lady Eleanor about where she lived up to now. And I confirmed that she did not lie by using the magical stone, but I am sorry I didn't think that it would affect her in this way."
"And who told you to use that on her for the investigation?.."
"I thought that, it would certify us about her innocence..that's why I used it.....I am sorry if I stepped over my boundaries."
"Yes you did go over your limits Sebastian! I never doubted her innocence, but I let you do as you wanted so that you would believe her, and it seem like I made the wrong choice."
"...But your majesty the location of her hometown is still unclear and..."
"Do you think, that matter right now, will that change the fact that she didn't do anything wrong aside from saving me out of good deed, and now she is been mistreated by the same people she saved twice at that." shouted Francis while hitting his fist on his desk and looking at them with his cold reddened eyes.
Sebastian's face turned pale and as he bowed, he said, "I Will that responsability for my actions your majesty...I am terribly sorry for my blunder."
Francis combed his hair with his hand in anger and sat down to clear his mind, 'I should have been more cautious and firmly instruct Sebastian about what he should and shouldn't do. This happened because I didn't care about it.' He was still furious and the sight of Sebastian and Val in from of him irritated him even more so in a harsh and firm tone he said,
"Get out!"
Without waiting for another second, the two of them took their leave with a sigh of relief. While training with Francis, they always knew that there was a thin chance for them to leave without scratches. So this was a chance they couldn't afford to lose to escape is wrath.
Eleanor has often opened partially her eyes, the first time she opened her eyes since she fainted, she saw her crying maid Miel the second time it was the doctor talking to her and the third time it was Francis with a face she had never seen on him, 'He was worried for me? why? He don't even know anything about me so why that expression.' She thought while wondering with her closed eyes. She could also hear them talk and in their conversation she could understand then important part, 'they used a magical stone who could be dangerous for most of people on me so that I will tell the truth....Ahhh as expected of the people who thing that they can do anything they want. I should have know that, those from the royal family are all the same either it be elf or human, they are all the same.' Tears run down her cheek as those thoughts reminded her of a lot of sad moment.
The fever went down and Eleanor was a lot better, Miel prepared for her some soup for dinner. After finishing her dinner, she was alone in her room so she took the book that she hide below her cushion. The witch book wasn't found by anyone in the palace not even her maid, Eleanor made sure that no one would find it in case problem occurred. Because long ago witch were hunted by the human so she thought that it would be best for her safety to keep it secret. While she was immersed in her reading, the door knock. She quickly hide the book and said,
"Yes come in!"
She didn't expect to see this person come to her room at this time so Eleanor's mouth went wide open in surprise and her eyes widened. Francis stood by the door and closed it, with light step he came toward her and said,
"How are you feeling, I hear that your fever went down so I came to check on you."
Eleanor quicly changed her surprised expression to an indifferent one. She had one resolution, and that is to leave this place.
".....I am fine." She said, as she eyes looked toward the large window.
"Are you sure?" he said while tilting his head as he tried to meet her eyes.
"I said I am fine, the doctor must have told you so why ask me."
"Because I wanted to hear you say it."
"Why?!"
"Because I wanted to hear your voice." He said, with a calm voice.
"....why?"
He took her shin with his hand and made her look at him and replied,
"Because I missed your voice and....you."
As he uttered those words Eleanor was stunned in surprise, her lips parted in attemps to reply and her eyes widened. She stared at his eyes for a moment, it was like her gaze tried to confirm what the man in from of her tried to imply while saying those misleading words. Then something Eleanor would never have guessed in her whole life happened...
