Girls gossip

Eleanor was trying to figure out what Alphonse told her before leaving while her maid Anne was making a fuss about the kiss between them.

"Miss, I have observed Prince Alphonse for many years and I can tell you for sure, he isn't the kind of person to kiss any girl randomly. And actually I never saw him kiss a girl." Said Anne, with a high tone.

"I don't always agree with Anne but she is right about this miss....By the way Anne, why were you observing the duke for years?!" said Miel, while looking suspiciously at Anne.

"Hahaha! don't mind me, I just had a crush on him long ago."

"Yeah, I will never believe that since you feel for every handsome guy, last time it was his highness the emperor. Right?!"

At the mention of the emperor, Eleanor who was deep in thought while Anne and Miel conversed, jolted suddenly and thought about Alphonse's words. 'What Al said wasn't wrong, I know that but still why did I feel like I did with Francis?! But was it any different from how I feel from Al's kiss?!'. When she reminded about his kiss, she stood from her seat, became flushed red and covered her face with her hands. Without knowing she said out loud,

"Ahhhhh!! But did he have to do that just to explain?!"

"Huh?! explain what?!" Said Anne still curious about what happened between them.

"Eh?! wait, did I said that out loud?!" She said while putting her hand on her mouth, embarassed.

"Yes, you did! now tell us miss."

"Ah, I...There is really nothing to say, he was just showing me...how lovers kiss?! hehe..." she muttered awkwardly, she was trying to find an excuse to lie about the true, so that Anne would give up asking. Though, she wasn't sure if her lie would go trought Anne's insight.

"Eh? miss you don't even know how to kiss?!" Anne's answer relieved Eleanor since she seemed to believe her lie, 'well it wasn't entirely a lie though'.

"Yeah,...haha! It is embarassing..and can you stop calling me miss and just call me Lea. Since, you two and Elise are friends to me.

"Really?! thanks miss...I mean Lea I thought that you weren't like other lady the emperor befriended too. You are so nice and pretty." Said Anne while smiling at Eleanor and looking toward Miel excitedly.

"We can not miss, what if the emperor get furious about it..." Miel though was reluctant about this, so Eleanor said while putting on a bright smile,

"Don't worry, he will never say anything since I am the one who want that. So feel free to call me Lea. okay?!"

"Okay..." Miel said with a shy smile.

"Well, back to our suject so Lea are you saying you never dated any man with that face of your?! you know even our shy Miel dated a guy." Said Anne while smiling misheviously.

"Hey, how did you about know that?!" Said miel while glaring at Anne with a red face.

"Really?! Miel has someone? said Eleanor while looking at Anne for answer with an excited face and as Anne nodded, she put her gaze on Miel and continued,

"He must be a really good guy, like you miel."

"Thank you Lea.." Miel became even more red and avoided her eyes as much as possible from embarrassment.

"So miss,...I mean Lea you have to get out of the palace and come with us to town. You will see how beautiful it is when we celebrate his highness's birthday." Anne said as she looked at Eleanor with a glittering eyes.

"Well, I really wanted to go and see the town myself, I will gladly come with you girls."

"Eh? wouldn't it be dangerous miss..uhh Lea." the worried Miel uttered those words after drinking a glass of water.

"No, it is okay since I will be with you. Nothing can happen." Said Eleanor to reassure Miel and Anne followed and said,

"Yes, there's no need to worry about anything since there are many guard around the town it is perfectly secure."

"Good then, when are we going?!" Eleanor was at easy after knowing that the town was safe and guarded. Since coming to the human territory, she only saw ferocious wolves so she was still scared of going out even thougth she knew how to protect herself.

"Tonight, after the end of our work we will go." Concluded Anne and then they left to prepare lunch. Before going Eleanor asked Miel to tell the imperial doctor Cain, that she would visit him after lunch. Since she promised him, she decided to go see him before deciding to leave the palace for good.

Before it was lunch time, she went to her terrasse and took her time to relax and read the witch book. There was many spells for making fire, moving tools, growing herbs faster, and much more. She could understand how to read them but understanding the meaning of some of the spells was another thing, the book had a lot of chapters and as she looked at the next chapter it became harder to understand. It was like upgrading from novice to master, so she had to finish understanding and studying the first chapters to go forward. And it get harder the more you learn. 'sigh, and I was so sick of learning in Eilheim, but maybe in this place it could come in handy to know witch spell if I am alone out in this world. After all, I can not stay indefinitely in the imperial palace and I am becoming confused about my feeling for Francis or Alphonse. I can not think about love since there is a chance that, they are still after me.' She looked at the book while the wind was blowing the end of autumn. Soon it will be winter and the cold season will bring its share of impredictable fate.
