"We can't always play the perfect game." - Virgil van Dijk
"Open uuuuuuuuppp!!!! Yooohhoooo!" Lexie banged on the door, shouting at the top of her lungs.
Nathan opened the door, annoyance visible in his face. "You have got to be kidding me." Her run his hand through his hair.
"Thank you." Lexie smiled and squeezed herself and the bags she's carrying in heading to the kitchen as Nathan stood by the door, calming himself.

"Nathaaaaaannnnn!" Lexie called out, standing in front of the door. "Knock knooocckk!"
Nathan once again opened the door, not saying anything. His hair were more tousled than usual, his shirt and pants all wrinkled, his eyes half shut, jaws tight.
Lexie smiled at him licking an ice cream cone and holding another with her other hand which she held towards Nathan. "Want some?"
"Didn't I just let you in a few hours ago?" Nathan ignored Lexie's hand which was still holding out the ice cream to him.
"Went out to get ice cream." She answered still licking the other. "Hurry, it's gonna melt." She moved the hand that stretched out, holding the ice cream.
Nathan exhaled and went back to his room, leaving the door open and Lexie still smiling brightly.
It has been more than 2 week since Lexie has been living with Nathan and it was anything but peaceful. They argued over everything, what food to eat, who's turn is it to do a certain chore, bathroom schedules. Five days ago, Lexie stopped riding home with Nathan on his motorcycle. Nathan had been coming home with different girls. The first time it happened, Lexie had to learn how to commute, when she got home she had to wait outside for hours as Nathan and that girl did whatever they did. But as 2 days and girls passed by, Lexie didn't care anymore. She would knock loudly until Nathan opened the door, a little angry for being disturbed. Lexie would just smile at Nathan and the girl who would always glare at Lexie.
Lexie stayed at the kitchen most of the day as she didn't like staying in the living room where she could hear everything happening in the bedroom. There were days when she had to hold her pee for hours. Lexie knew that Nathan was just doing this to annoy her, Brit told her that Nathan usually didn't like being strangers to his place. As she paced back and forth in the kitchen, Lexie decided that she would not take this quietly, she would have to do something.
So know, Lexie always made it a point to disturb Nathan a few times a day. She always made reasons to go out somewhere then come knocking back a few minutes later so Nathan would have to open the door. Lexie also hoped that with this, Nathan would finally cave and give her a key.

"Woah!"
"Ahhh"
Nathan and a girl screamed, covering themselves with the sheets as Lexie barged in the room.
"Don't mind me, I just really got to pee." Lexie walked towards the bathroom, keeping her head low, shielding her eyes with her hands. As she closed the door of the bathroom, she couldn't help but laugh as she covered her mouth so they wouldn't hear her.
She waited a few minutes and walked back outside, once again covering her eyes. She headed straight to the kitchen and decided to make herself a grilled cheese sandwich.
After a few minutes Lexie heard the front door slam and Nathan appeared in the kitchen.
"Hey, where's your friend?" Lexie asked nonchalantly as she placed her sandwich on a plate.
"She left. Constantly getting interrupted kinda ruined our mood." Nathan answered, annoyed.
"Oh. I see." Lexie sat, struggling to keep a smile off her face.
"You win this time kid." Nathan took her sandwich and left.
"Heeeyyy!" Lexie complained running after him.
Nathan heard Lexie coming behind him so he stuffed the sandwich in his face, trying to finish it quickly. Lexie grabbed the sandwich from him as he went to take his third large bite. She run back to the kitchen, protecting her sandwich.

"Nathaaaaaaannn!" Lexie was once again outside, knocking on the door. It has been days since she's been doing this but Nathan still hasn't given her a key. "Let me iiiiinnnn…."
"What is it now?" Nathan asked opening the door.
"I just wanted some fresh air." Lexie smiled.
Nathan smirked, an idea coming to him and quickly slammed the door before Lexie could come in.
"What the hell?" Lexie was a little shocked.
"Enjoy the fresh air. I'm gonna take a nap, see you in a few hours." Nathan yelled through the door.
"Are you serious?" Lexie yelled back, banging on the door.
There was no answer.
She banged on the door, louder this time. Still no answer. "I can do this all day Nathan!" She yelled.
Lexie stopped and thought for a while, thinking. Finally, she smiled and took a deep breath.
"Nathaaaaan! Let me in!" She screamed at the top of her lungs. "Nathan please, don't do this to me. Nathan. Pleaaaassseee.. Let's talk about this, how could you tell me to abort my baby? OUR baby? How could you even think that! I thought you loved me? How could you just use me like this? Nathan what about our baby??" Lexie pretending to cry hysterically. "My baby, I can't do it Nathan. Please let's just talk. How could y---"
Nathan opened the door and quickly pulled her in.
"What the f**k!?" He was looking at Lexie, shocked. Practically the whole neighborhood heard what she was screaming.
"I win!" Lexie announced, laughing.
"You're crazy!" Nathan couldn't believe the girl in front of her. Doesn't she have any sense of shame? Screaming those things in broad daylight?
"Whatever, I win!" She sat on the couch, bouncing, smiling proudly. "Can I have a key now?"
Nathan went back to his room, shaking his head. He had underestimated her.
