3.) WHAT?

(The next day)

rose is asleep on her bed then suddenly her phone rings. rose picks up her phone while laying on bed and eyes closes , her eyes are already burning but still she tries to pick up the call.

"hello?"

"hey rose! where are you right now?"

"who is this?"

"what rose? didn't you saved my number it's me dina! or...(gasps) Don't tell me that you woke up right now! didn't you got my message?"

"what message?"

"ugh! we were supposed to gather for a meeting at 10 am and miss shiza supposedly told me to inform you!"

"wait! what? what time is it?"

"it's 9:30 am already! please get ready fast and arrive here as soon as possible!"

"okay i am coming!"

rose hangs up.

(ugh! what a terrible start of a new day! i am already shocked and had barely overcome the incident and whatever had happened to me! but.. i guess i have no choice cause if i ignore this then i will not be able to provide for mom's medicine and i have to go cause i already had a decrement in my salary cause of not attending that important meeting!!!)

rose sighs and rushes to washroom and gets ready as fast as possible.

rose arrives her office and gets into an elevator. where she notices many new people.

(i haven't seen them... are they new here? but why would miss shiza hire so many new people at one go? whatever its not my business..)

elevator opens and rose notices dina who is worried and approaches her.

"hey dina!"

"wow! rose you are so quick! its still 9:45 a.m!"

"well, thanks to God! cause my house is not that far just.. few meters away!"

"yeah! but thank God you arrived cause miss shiza gave me the responsibility to inform you and if you were not here, she could have killed me!"

"oh come on!" rose smiled.

"you know this time very selected people are attending this meeting!"

"woah seriously! and we are one of them?"

"yes! i can't believe that I am one of the selected people!"

"me too!"

"come on rose! you are everyone's favorite here! everyone knows that if any important event is going to organize then you will be definitely there!"

"oh! do you think that?"

"come on everyone thinks that ! but seriously like how you are so perfect on your work? like miss shiza is the most rudest person here but she likes you a lot ! looks like you love your work!"

"i guess i have no other choice!"

"by the way rose are you okay? cause yesterday you sounded weak and even now you look tired! and you have never missed an important meeting like this! are you really okay?"

"ya- ya i am" rose replied without making eye contact.

"listen rose if you ever need anything ..i am here okay?"

"ya- thanks a lot"

"hey i think we are now supposed to go to the meeting room let's go!"

rose enters the meeting room and sits beside dina. then rose notices those new people whom she saw in the elevator. then rose whispered to dina.

"hey dina who are these new people here?"

"don't you know? these are from the great MNAC company and are here to discuss about some marketing strategies!"

"oh-"

miss shiza arrives the room and announces

"Good morning everyone! I am always proud of this company but today i am going announce that from today this company is now going to be officially declared as a main branch of MNAC compay"

everyone is shocked

rose to dina "WHAT? does that mean we are going to lose our job?"

miss shiza continues "but there is so need to be worried cause the employees present in this room will be continuing their work as an employee but the others including me will be transferred to the other branch of MNAC company"

rose asks "then who will be the boss?"

miss shiza answered "Now the new boss of this branch is arriving!"

then the new boss that is the CEO of the company enters the room which leaves a shocked and horrified expression on rose's face cause he is none other than.....ryan.

everyone on the room stands up including rose as ryan walks very coldly to his place.

"good morning! everyone i am glad to see you all cause based on the report of this company you all are the top employees here, i congratulate you all !!!.... all you're new designation will be now alloted to you all after sometime! Thank you!"

ryan makes a sudden eye contact with rose with a smirk on his face. which makes rose even more horrified.

rose still can't accept whatever happened and her face becomes pale after realizing that her new boss will be ryan.
