Aiden sighed and sat back down in his chair. He felt pleased with himself. 'This should help avoid any misunderstandings between us.' He thought. He isn't at all willing to be deceived by Kara. Once he heard she has feelings for him he decided to draw the line between them.

He must avoid misunderstandings at all costs! His chance with her is still not very high. Even if he loves his grandfather and had a small friendship with Kara. He knows exactly how far he can go. And having them interfere in his love life isn't something he will allow.

When he planned on going back to work there was another knock on his door. Aiden rubbed his temple slightly annoyed. "Come in!" He said and the door opened.

" Sir Ms.Jones left an envelope and asked me to give it to you. She said it's important." One of his project managers said and handed him a yellow envelope " I sent it to the security team and the contents inside are all safe. The packaging also does no harm."He explained. "You may leave." He ordered. The manager nodded and left.

Once the door was closed Aiden sighed and decided to open it. Once he saw the contents inside his mood turned dark. "She was indeed being followed…" He said to himself, he controlled himself from getting angry. Aiden was forced to be rational even though he wasn't at all pleased with the photographs in his hands.

Genesis was in her 'date' with Andrew in the photos. He turned them around refusing to see the scene. He knew very well that the photos were taken at intentional angles. There was even a photo in which it looked like they were kissing.

He took a deep breath and called her. 'She won't lie to you, don't worry.' He told himself with a small smile.

"How?" She asked. " I have been doing an investigation of my own. Gen-" Genesis interrupted him. " First of all don't call me that we are not close. Second, I will say this again to get to the point." Genesis once again completely pushed him away.

The only reason she is still facing him is because she doesn't want a single detail about her parent's death slip away. " Your aunt is the easiest fool. I have a friend who helped me keep her under his watch. This one time she let the secret spill when I found her going through your mother assets. She was quite angry when she found out that most of them were handed to you and the other part was for your brother." He explained.

Genesis chuckled. Andrew was startled. "Why do you care? Why did you even bother to investigate? This has nothing to do with you. I will find out the truth on my own." Genesis told him. "Gen I-"

"Don't call me that. Mr.Woods this is where things should end. I have moved on and you should too." She interrupted him.

"Actually I never actually really ch-" When Andrew was about to speak Genesis' phone rang. Genesis quickly took it out because she didn't want to be near Andrew at all.

Andrew managed to see 'Aiden' as the Callers ID and he turned gloomy instantly. He made a fist with his hands that were resting on the table.

"Yes?" Genesis asked sweetly. " Where are you?" Aiden asked. "Umm I don't know the exact address but it's a cafe. Why do you ask?" Genesis told him in confusion. " With who?" Aiden asked directly. Genesis frowned. " No one important. I needed some information that's why….what happened?" Genesis asked.

" Wait for me there," Aiden told her and hung up. Genesis frowned. 'Tsk what's wrong with him?' She wondered. She sighed. "If that's it I'll take my leave sir." She told Andrew and got up. "Genesis!" Andrew called it out. Genesis noticed desperation in his voice but she didn't care.

"Do you need anything else?" She asked. "I'm not done yet. Take a seat." Andrew told her. Genesis hesitated. "You have five minutes." She told him and placed her phone down on the table after looking at the time. She crossed her legs and laid back.

Andrew passed her the drink she had not finished earlier and sighed. " I know you will be going back to your company in two months. I'm also aware you are that man's fiance. Have you ever thought about why your parents send you to him?" He asked. Genesis laughed. "Why does it look like you're more informed about my life then I am?" She asked.

" I didn't show up in front of you for the past two years because I know you well. You are very stubborn and you won't listen to me unless I have evidence." He continued. "Four." Genesis started counting down.

" Ask him when the deal was first made. He knows. We had just gotten together. Now think about when we went on that trip. Everything is off!" Andrew claimed. Genesis smiled coolly. "Are you claiming My future husband has something to do with my parent's death?" She asked.

"I don't know but they must be involved in some way!" He defended his beliefs. Genesis shook her head. " My parents rejected the idea of me being with you. That's why they made the deal. I didn't pay attention to it because I was too busy being a fool. In the end the deal was suspended. It only resumed after our engagement ended. I trust them and someone like you has no right to accuse them of anything!" Genesis angrily responded, focusing on maintaining her composure.

"Genesis! You can't be fooled by him. He isn't what you think he is. None of them are. Don't trust them!" Andrew stood up and so did Genesis.

"I think I already made myself clear didn't I? My family matters are none of your business!" She whispered yell. She didn't want to attract attention from the other customers. She took her purse and walked away.

"Damn it!" Andrew cursed and placed the money on the table to pay for their order. He then ran after her.

Genesis exited the cafe and calmed herself down by taking deep breaths in. She heard her phone ringing and she answered, knowing it would be Aiden. "Are you here yet?" She asked. "Mn" She heard him respond. Genesis looked around and recognized his car almost 10 feet away from her.

She smiled lightly and walked towards the car. Behind her she heard Andrew call her name out. Her mood dampened.

'Geez I can't have one peaceful Sunday?' She asked herself, feeling annoyed. She ignored his call and kept walking, even feeling embarrassed.

She didn't stop until she felt someone grab her hand. She turned to face Andrew and she frowned. " Hear me out first!" He told her. Genesis raised her eyebrows. " I did. You blew it, now get over it." She responded coldly.

She felt a dark aura coming from the car in front of her and she sighed. "My fiance is waiting for me. Excuse me." She snatched her hand back and walked away. Aiden came out of the car and placed his hands in his pockets. He looked calm and unbothered but his aura said otherwise.

Genesis swallowed. 'I can't believe I'm about to do this…'

She walked towards Aiden and threw herself on his arms. She wrapped her arms around his waist and laid her head on his chest.

" Darling~ You finally arrived!"
