You investigated him?

After their lunch together both of them went back to normal like usual without any problem. They had enjoyed a very peaceful lunch and even did some small talk. Genesis realized that he can keep a conversation interesting. It amused her that she had never seen him respond with nothing exceeding of 5 words.

Except from when he's working and has to give details, in conversations he would keep quiet and just listen. In other cases, he would just give his orders with no room for discussion.

The day went by until it was time to get off work. Genesis looked at the time and sighed. "Finally, it's over." She mumbled.

Aiden glanced up and her and smiled. " You can go I'll pick you up later in the afternoon." He told her. "Ah okay." She responded and cleaned up her desk to leave. After Aiden came back from the meeting he had they agreed to go together to meet his aunt.

His uncle and Aunt own a farm on the outskirts of the city and they live there. Although they have always lived in the city before, it wasn't long since they decided to move all the way there. This made the occasions to meet them very rare. There are many rumors as to why they moved there but the truth is that they just wanted a more peaceful and easygoing life. The reason she asked for the meeting must be for business purposes because if not she could just enter her nephew's office and wait for him there.

Genesis would have to go because it's her responsibility as his assistant. The only meetings she would attend with him are the ones that include an exchange between papers and ownerships as well as contract signings. But, she would also attend those only by herself most of the time. Genesis has the mindset of a leader and she is already trained to be a CEO. Having her here is honestly a great help to Aiden.

Since his aunt picked a late hour to meet in a private room of an exclusive restaurant Genesis can go home and freshen up before attending the meeting. Once she was ready to leave, she bid Aiden goodbye and walked out of the building. She entered her car and drove back home.

Genesis came parked her car and headed to the supermarket to do some grocery shopping. She decided to just walk there because it isn't that far.

" Okay, what do I need?" She wondered. After making a list on her head she quickly grabbed what she needed because she didn't want to waste time. Right when she about to make the line she sighed and remembered she needed one more thing.

She picked a pack of her favorite chocolates and her favorite ice cream flavor. Once she did that she headed to get some sanitary napkins. Of course, she had to be prepared for her upcoming days since it's always painful and unexpected.

She was walking towards her apartment with the bags in her hands and she met with someone right in front of her door. She didn't react and kept walking. She replaced the key inside the lock and opened her door.

"Gen…" He called out and stopped her. Did he have to come and spoil her day? She wondered. " Mr. Woods excuse me." She signaled him to move aside. " Gen you didn't let me finish last time." He told her. " I let you speak, didn't I? Now please move aside." She pleaded. She didn't need more problems. He is in her past and she doesn't want anything to do with it.

" I'm warning you. I'm being very patient until now. Piss me off again and the consequences will be graver this time around." She threatened but unlike last time he wasn't affected. " Why are you so stubborn? Can't you listened to me?" He questioned.

Genesis took a deep breath and gave him a polite smile. " Mr.Woods if you don't move aside I will have to call the security guards. I don't remember giving you my address so I can assume you're stalking me. I have the right to place charges against you for this and many other things." She warned him and he finally moved aside with a sigh.

" I will wait for you, love." She heard him whisper as she passed by him. She rolled her eyes in disgust and closed the door. She locked her door twice. Genesis gritted her teeth unaware of how he got her address.

The first thing she did was call Jess and ask her to come by later so she could hand her the yellow envelope. She gave her the address to the restaurant so they could meet there after her meeting with Aiden and his aunt. She placed her groceries away and did her best to not think of that man outside her door.

She ate some snacks and got ready to leave. She hoped he was gone by the time Aiden arrived. She wanted to send her guards and kick him out of the building but she didn't have the energy to cause a huge scene.

She changed into an off-shoulder Ruched swiss dot dress and a pair of stilettos. She fixed her makeup and got the papers she would need ready, including the envolope containing the 'special' information about Andrew. He was already getting on her nerves and she would not hesitate to take action if he keeps it up. Once everything was done she called Aiden's number. "I'm ready are you on your way?" She asked with a small smile on her face. "Mn I will be there in 3 minutes." He responded.

"Ah ok. I will wait for you outside the building then." She replied. After getting his response she hung up and turned off her apartment's lights. She opened the door to leave her apartment and met with Andrew once again.

She completely ignored him and kept walking towards the elevator. "Gen!" He shouted. " Why can't you listen to me?" He caught up to her and held her wrist tightly.

She was getting irritated at this point. " Why? Because we are o-v-e-r. Is it so hard to understand? You cheated on me and I broke up with you like any rational human being would. Whatever you have to say is none of my business." She answered fiercely and glared at him.

" I know you investigated me. You could just sit down and talk. I will always answer you honestly." He told her with a sigh. Genesis laughed. " Why would I-"
