A master plan (pt.3)

I woke up at.. I don't know when really, but it was quite early, so I decided to think through what happened day yesterday.

Haha.

I had a very, very cliche day.

I got summoned, the world looks like medieval England, the church is evil, there's an RPG style system, there's monsters, there's guilds, there's a demon lord, and I got a slave.

Isn't that what happens on the first few days of every person who was ever summoned to another world? Well, I suppose nobody was actually summoned, but that's what happens in manga.

Hmm, if that's the case, I know what's coming next.

Once I go into the guild to sign up, some dude is gonna come and attack me.

Well I suppose there's itching I could do..

did you really think I'd say that?

Hell no, I'm level 1 right now, all of my stats are 10 and I have little fighting experience from my previous life.

There's now way I'd go to the guild, at least until I gained a few levels.

I don't really fancy getting my ass beaten on my second day in another world.

So.. what do I do?

Well, the answer to that is pretty simple.

Killing kobolds.

They always live in big groups, and they aren't too great at combat. They're small, yet easy to anger, hence why I use a [taunt] shield to bait them. The easier a target is to anger, the more the lose their minds and formation when they get [taunted].

There was a thing that looked like a calendar hanging on a street map, and to be honest, that pleasantly surprised me. This world might just be a bit different from what I expected.

Street maps are like mini maps in RPGs, they're holograms that just hover in one place, and anyone could use it. It also had an «basic monsters guide» button. Very convenient.

A came back into the room and woke up Lime, who was having a really long sleep, probably because she had trouble properly resting inside a cage.

I tapped her head a few times.

"Hey, Lime, you have to get up now." When she heard me, she shot up from the bed and and bowed down to her knees.

I guess she's apologizing, huh.

"Get up, I need to ask a question. Are you unable to speak or do you just not like talking?" I was genuinely curious as to why the only person I could talk to didn't ever reply.

"I.. was.. taught to call my masters by their name, but I don't know your name." She was speaking with caution the whole time, I guess she doesn't trust me yet.

Oh well.

"Hmm. Well my name's.. wait. What is my name? Don't tell me it got erased when I was summoned here." At first I was gonna reply, but it turns out they wiped the memory of my name.

"Before you were.. summoned?" Oh, I shouldn't have said that out loud.

"Oh, never mind that, I was just thinking out loud." I hope she doesn't spread the rumors or I may end up having to kill her. And let me tell you, I don't feel like killing random people, especially if they're supposed to be my companions.

~~~
We're at the outskirts of the city, and I have once again been pleasantly surprised.
There's no giant wall around the City, which is what most mangas had. Another difference is that there're almost no strong people here. I think that's because they leave very early in the morning, to hunt down the highest amount of monsters before there's none left. They hunt goblins and wild boars, which are actually a lot stronger than kobolds, and also give less experience. So why would they do that? It's because kobolds are a lot better at strategy.
And we have a [taunt] shield.
Just at the thought of killing tones of kobolds and getting stronger, I feel like my blood starts to boil.
"Yo, Lime, Let's go kick some ass!"
