Despair is something to share.

"You said I can live if I helped you, correct?" I have to play along with her rules for the time being, or I'll get killed on the spot.

"Not necessarily, but, depending on how well you perform, I might just let you survive this." This girl.. I have no choice but to agree.

"In that case, let's sign a contract." I stood up.

"Don't tell me you have the power to sign a contract." She thought this is a joke.

"Me? Of course I don't. You need to have 100 or more points of dexterity to do that." Of course, I had way more than 100, but she doesn't know how strong I am and I want to use this advantage against her.

Since you get 1 dexterity every 10 levels, I basically told her than my level is lower than 1000. She doesn't know how much experience the bosses give, and she is also unaware of my overpowered title [anti-hero].

There are also some other ways to get extra dexterity, for example dwarves get 0.01 dexterity every time they create good a piece of equipment. 100 good swords, and your dexterity is increased by 1.

"Of course. Then why did you ask to make the contract?" She got a little suspicious.

"It's obvious, is it not?" I got used to the pressure.

"Don't get cocky, human." I see, so thinks humans are an inferior race.

"I want you to offer me a contract." I ignored her warning and stayed up.

"Phaha. Good one. You think I will sacrifice my lifetime just to sign a contract with a disposable tool like you? Not a chance." I expected that kind of a reaction.

The person who offers a contract has to sacrifice one year of their life to Death. In other words, Death will come to kill you one year before he thinks you will die and take your life.

If you are powerful enough, however, you can ignore death altogether, as even he can't predict when exactly you will die.

"So you still have a risk of being killed by death?" Hahaha, so her immense power was a mere bluff.

"Who doesn't? I can only think of one person who's death time wasn't predictable.. but he is already dead." She said the last part with some sorrow.

"That person. Was he a human?" I might have a good idea as to what's going on.

"How did you know?!" She looked at me with shock.

"Your song of death, [eternal buzz], is the strongest weapon against humans." I laid out my information before her.

"You aren't supposed to know that. Why do you know so much?" She took a step back.

"There is no way a weakling like you can beat a floor 10 boss in a fair fight. You just waited here until the boss lost his mind and finished him off." I started my explanation.

"You already said the skill works best against humans!" She took a second step back.

"And that's when it became obvious the floor ten boss was a human. Any other high level creature would have managed to contain himself." I tested it with Blood.

He created hundreds of huge ears and listened to the buzz. With that much amplification, I would have lost my mind in about 3 minutes, but Blood held out for half an hour.

"B-But how did did you find out the name of my skill?" She tried taking another step back and tripped over.

"Ya see this bracelet? It showed me the skill I was affected by." I pulled down my sleeve and revealed the bracelet.

"No.. No! Wait! Let's talk this out. I want trying to hurt you. I was going to turn it off. Haha." She crawled back while trying to talk me out of killing her.

"Shut up." The goat head created a blade of blood and pierced it through her shoulder.

"Aah!" She grabbed her shoulder and screamed in pain.

"Do you have any idea how valuable the person on floor 10 was? He had all the answer about the Dump. All of them. And you killed my only hope of ever finding out how the Dump was made just like that." I stepped on her foot, and a crunch followed by a scream game shortly after.

"You have no excuse to live." I sliced her neck just enough not to finish the queen bee off.

Another cry of pain. She balled up on the ground, begging me to kill her to stop the pain.

"Oh, I will. I'll kill you over. And over. And over again." I pushed her head back, and blood shot out from the cut, killing her.

[Potion of resurrection]. I poured it down her throat.

"Ha? I'm alive?" She was shaking in fear.

"As you can see, yes. Not for long though." I cut her head clean off again.
