HOTD part 11: My way.
Night falls on the city, bringing some calm and silence into this disaster.
The survivors hide in their homes praying to survive from this apocalypse, but no one can be sure when it will be his turn.
The sounds of zombie outsides keep reminding the survivors about their reality as they were trying to get some rest.
This is the second day of the apocalypse and the humans already given up on each other.
The police already took action by killing a conspiracy theorist in front of the public making the crowds understand, The police aren't joking about this matter, and they will take any action possible to contain the situation, even if it means to sacrifice some citizens.
More chaos started spearing into the city with the cries of the humans suffering, but even in this chaos there still some calm places.
Akashi was inside the school nurse house preparing some surprises for his guests.
"I think this is enough… for now" Akashi said before moving toward the sofa.
"Now what should I do?" Akashi said while being bored sitting on the sofa.
"D4C, what do you think about what I am doing now" Akashi said as D4C blue aura appeared on him.
"Honestly, I feel sick of myself" Akashi said with a bitter smile.
"Killing started to become like breathing for me, without any guilt or remorse behind it... I know I have to do this, but..." Akashi said as he was looking at the darkroom.
Akashi didn't turn on the light because he was afraid his enemy will know his location.
"I really don't want to become someone that will kill just for fun or take life as a game..." Akashi said while clutching his fist.
"What more disgusting are the mind and emotional controls... every time I play with people's emotions and feeling, just to archive a goal, then I will kill them with a cold blood..." Akashi said while looking at D4C aura.
Akashi started to remember how he played with Takashi and his friend's emotions then he just used them as a bait while watching them getting killed.
Those desperate eyes and tears still flashing in Akashi head until now.
"I even started to do that subconsciously, it like I am getting used to it..." Akashi scratched his head in frustration.
"Is this what I have become... sometimes I really don't know what to do..." Akashi said.
"But... I don't have another choice than to throw these feelings away and keep moving forwards" Akashi smiled bitterly.
"hmm?..." Akashi suddenly felt something around his finger.
Looking down, Akashi saw D4C hand appeared on his hand with two-line extending from it.
"Two?... it seems they are getting closer to here" Akashi said before standing from the sofa and moving towards a locker.
"They probably send their weakest or the dumbest members, so this won't be difficult" Akashi said before breaking the locker using D4C.
The locker had different guns stored inside it.
Akashi grabbed the shotgun and the sniper rifle before putting them in his space with all the ammo.
Akashi took a deep breath clearing his thoughts.
"Well... battle starts now" Akashi said with his usual playful smile while closing the locker. A smile is the easiest way to confuse people and give them the illusion someone is in control, but for Akashi it something to hide his weakness.
Akashi created a flag from his bracelet before he disappeared from the room, leaving everything in silence.
A car appeared down the building before it parked outside next to it.
The car opened showing the star man and the biker checking their surrounding before walking next to the building.
"Is this the place?" the biker said.
"I am pretty sure it's the place..." the star man looked at the apartment on top.
"I remember buying this piece of information from because I thought this will be my first mission world, but I couldn't remember it exactly" The star man said.
"Seriously... you luck is terrible" the biker said while grinning at the star man.
"Shut up, like you are better than me" The star man said before walking toward the building.
"do you think they arrived here?" The biker said.
"Honestly, I don't think so" The star man said while walking up the stairs.
"But we can't deny the possibility" the star man said.
"I see... then we should be careful from traps" the biker said as the biker nodded.
"The door wasn't open recently" The star man said while checking the dust next to the door.
"I hear nothing from the inside" the biker said.
"be careful, we will break the door then rush inside... got it" the star man said while grabbing two daggers from his space.
"Leave it to me" the biker said while summoning his huge blade.
"Are you ready?" the biker asked one last time while the star man nodded.
The biker raised his blade and attacked the door, breaking it completely by one hit.
The star man jumped after the strike and entered the room putting a battle stance while checking if there is a trap.
"Nothing?" the star man stood up and looked at the darkroom.
"Did we waste our time for nothing?" the biker said with a frown.
"Don't say that, we should check the apartment first" the star man said.
"... Fine" the biker said before searching the apartment.
The star man nodded as he searched the apartment as well.
The two-man searched the apartment for a while, but found nothing suspicious.
"Nothing..." the star man said while sitting on the sofa.
"Maybe, we really did something completely pointless" The star man said while looking at the biker coming towards him.
"Come on, don't say that" the biker said.
"Weren't you who kept nagging at me all this journey in the car?" the star man said before noticing something in the biker hand.
"You should always look at the positive side... like this" the biker said while holding a bottle of wine.
"Seriously, you are going to drink during the mission" the star man said with a headache.
"One or two glasses of wine will not hurt, we player aren't normal humans after all" The biker said while grabbing two glasses from the kitchen.
"You...*sigh*..." the star man said while watching the biker pouring wine.
"Give me one" the star man said after watching the biker drinking.
"This is really good... I thought this will be a simple mission, then the space controller jumped from nowhere" The biker started complaining about this mission while drinking.
"There is nothing we can do about it" The star man said.
"I just want to finish this mission and rest... all these plans are hurting my head" the biker said while the star man nodded.
"Me too... we just have to complete this part then this will be all over" the star man said before remembering something.
"Yeah, I heard from the information this apartment has some guns" the star man finished his glass and said.
"We both don't have ranged weapons, we can use them" the star man said.
"Really? where?" the biker said.
"The lockers in the back where you were looking don't tell me you didn't check them" the star man said.
"Of course I checked them, but I didn't see those guns" The biker said in confusion
"How can this be possible, the information is correct and there is no one..." the star man said before his expression turned pale.
Putting his ear next to the wall, the star man heard a sound ticking as he rushed towards the biker
"What happ-" the biker said before he got pushed by the star man.
"GET DOWN!!!" The star man said while a loud sound came from the walls.
*BOOM*
An explosion happened in the apartment, almost demolishing it completely.
The sound was too loud that almost every zombie in the vicinity heard and walked towards the apartment.
Fire filled the apartment, brightening the surroundings while the smoke raised towards the sky.
Akashi watched the apartment exploding with the fire as it devouring it without expression while standing on a building balcony.
But he didn't get any notification about his task or about killing a player.
"Players are really difficult targets" Akashi said while taking a sniper rifle from his space.
"...Plan B" Akashi said while holding the rifle and aiming at the apartment.
Akashi closed his right eye while D4C head, and hands appeared on his shoulder and arms.
Activating his eyes and the zone while using D4C eyesight, Akashi spotted something bright from the smoke. Aiming at the target, he fired the gun without hesitation.
Inside the apartment, the star man activated his talent and created a shield to block the explosion while protecting himself and the biker.
"What the hell..." the biker said from the shock.
"There no time to talk they have ambushed us, this shield will only last for 3 minutes we need to hurry" the star man said before he got shot in the head, but the shield blocked the damage.
"What?..." the biker said only to get shot like his friend, but he was also protected.
"Dammit, he is still targeting us... we need to run towards the truck downstairs" the star man said while biker nodded.
"Keep your hand on me or the shield will become inactive for you" The star man said before he and the biker ran from the room under the bullet that kept hitting the shield in their heads location.
The biker and the star man ran downstairs after they jumped from the wreckage until they reached the garage, but they didn't see the truck.
"Did he took the truck too... Dammit my talent will only last for 1 minute then I will be completely hopeless for a half-hour" the star man said with anger.
"Let's go to our car with your shield activated he can't get us" the biker said before jumping over the fence with the star man.
The bullets kept hitting the two men while they reached the car.

Akashi stopped shooting after he saw it was useless to waste ammo.
"...Reload" Akashi removed the magazine while D4C put another in as he watched the two guys driving away.
"Now... Plan B" Akashi said while D4C took a remote controller and press it.

"He stopped shooting" The biker drove the car away and said.
"keep careful we don't know if he will attack us once more" the star man removed his hand from the biker and said.
"Don't worry without his space ability he can't reach us here " the biker said but the star man looked back to see something in the car back.
"NO JU-" the star man said before the car exploded completely and the biker died.
the car ran into a wall while fire kept coming from it.
The star man crawled from the car and wanted to run, but his shield disappeared while he falls to the ground.
"No...I need to run" the star man said before he saw someone aiming a sniper rifle at him from the building.
Akashi held the rifle as he watched the star man fall to the ground.
Aiming at his head, Akashi saw the man looked at him directly with all the hatred and despair in his eyes.
Akashi expression didn't change as he watched the star man expressions before he fired at his head.
Because of using his eyes and the zone, Akashi saw clearly the man expression until the bullet hit his head and turning it into a pool of blood.
"... No hard feelings" Akashi said while standing up.
