In a private VIP room, light finger tapping sounds contrasted the chatters circling around the table. Jason was pointing to several entrees and appetizer dishes on the menu as the manager concentrated on scribbling down the orders. While he ordered, everyone else was having conversations with their neighbors.

The manager confirmed the order twice, collected the menus and politely exited the room. Upon closing the doors to the private room, he could hear heightened excitement escape through the minimizing gaps of the door. With a small smile, the manager shut the door and proceeded to follow up on their orders.

Inside the room, Jessica couldn't help but tease the newlyweds. With her naughty fingertips poking her chin, Jessica's eyes wandered from Selina to Jason continuously. "Congratulations on your wedding! You lovebirds married in such a haste. Could it be because you two are expecting a mini bunny on the way?"

Her eyebrows raised as she lowered her gaze onto Selina's flat tummy. Hearing her best friend's hint about possibilities of a child in the upcoming months made Selina's cheeks burn. Suddenly, she remembered her husband's words from the time he was stirring jujube tea in the kitchen. Warmth crept up to her chest as she imagined what it would be like to carry his child.

A smile rose on her lips as she came up with a response. Selina chuckled, "If I ever have such great news, would I hop on the couch when I saw you? Plus, I would be the first to tell you that you'll be a godmother!"

"Oh, you're right. My bad. My bad. So, when are you two planning a ceremony? As the CEO of Hui Corps, the wedding should be a grand one. Our family's Selina likes everything simple, but you can't take advantage! Selina is not just my best friend. She's also my sister. My family. So, you can't bully her with me around." Jessica held Selina's hands in hers as she spoke to Jason in a serious tone.

When she said these words both Selina and her nose turned sour. Light shimmers of mist covered their eyes as Jessica spoke her thoughts. It felt like just yesterday that they were in college, but they've already grown up now.

Jason smiled and folded his hands. "The marriage came very sudden, but I promise I will give her the greatest wedding. As long as she's happy, we can have as many ceremonies as she likes. As for the grand party, I need to contact some wedding organizers to see which ones are the best to work with. Since you two call each other sisters, I will treat you as my sister-in-law. I will never bully Selina. Instead, she will be the one who calls the shots in the house."

"Mhmm. Good. Good. This sounds about right. For now, you pass my test. If you ever make her shed a tear, I'll be delivering ten boxes of durian shells and traditional washboards for you to kneel on. Though you two are newlyweds, I still want to play with a mini bun soon. Brother-in-law, you need to work hard at night!"

Jessica smiled playfully as she crinkled her eyes to a crescent moon curve. Her right fist rose and pumped up and down cheering for the newlyweds. Selina giggled at her eagerness to be a godmother. A mischievous curve sat on her lips as she looked in her husband's direction teasingly.

As the thoughts of his wife carrying their child popped up in his mind, a sweet happiness filled his heart. Although they haven't had their first night yet, just imagining pictures of family time made him feel heartwarming. He caught his wife's tricky smile and returned a joyful smile.

Then, Selina turned her attention back on Jessica. "You really want to be a godmother this early? Because if you do, I already have two kids at home. They're running around right now across the living room. You can see them if you come over later."

Jessica's eyelashes fluttered rapidly as she blinked in disbelief. "Y..You already have children? And you just got married?! What????? I want to see them? Did you have a boy or a girl? Or both? Ahhhhhh, they will be so cute!!!!"

Nodding, Selina let out a squeal. "They're the cutest of all! I have both a boy and a girl. One is dressed in baby blue and the other one is dressed in pink kitten outfits! Do you want to see them? Hmm? We can catch up tonight too!"

Right when Selina was about to listen to Jessica's response, a loud ringtone rang next to Jessica. As the familiar song played, everyone stopped speaking and focused their attention onto Kyla. Facing many stares, her cheeks began to burn.

Everyone's face had a sweet smile as an accessory as they heard a duet cover of Ed Sheeran's song, Perfect. Embarrassed, Kyla swiped her thumb across the screen to pick up the phone call.

"Huh? Ah? That sudden? Mm..Okay. I will. Be careful on your business trip and come back soon. Hmm? Yes, I'm with Jessica. Uh, okay. Aiya! You don't have to worry so much about me. You're leaving for a day and a half. I won't starve! Mhmm. Love you too. Bye bye." Kyla hung up the call in less than five minutes.

"Is everything alright?" Jessica recognized the unique ringtone that belonged to Kyla and Isaac. Both of them sang a duet and set it as their exclusive ringtone for each other. Surprisingly, their voices matched extremely well together.

"Oh, he has an unexpected business trip overseas. He was already on his way to the airport when he called. So, he told me to stay with you while he is gone." Kyla shrugged as she placed her phone on the table.

"I've got an idea! Hubby!!" Selina turned around and hugged Jason's arm.

"Hmm?" He read his wife's smile and knew she had a request.

"Can we have a girls' sleepover tonight? I haven't seen Jessica for so long. Kyla can't be alone and...Assistant Li mentioned her research for mattresses for many years earlier. I told her about your collection of the best air mattresses. We were old classmates too. Can we?" She swung his arm sideways lightly while biting down on her bottom lip.

"Sure. Then you girls can have your night, and I'll spend mine with your brothers." Jason pinched her chin dotingly. Selina rarely mentioned about her college or friends in general, so he was glad she felt comfortable around her friends. It would be a great reunion party for them.

At the same time, Jason felt a tap on his left shoulder. "Yes?"

Michael whispered, "Aaron and I are not joining. Alfred will, though! Be sure to pass some skills to him in chasing after a girl!"

Jason was rendered speechless that his smile froze. 'What skills? You just have to think quickly! Oh wells, we'll have a guy's talk tonight.'
