chapter 5

I began looking around in an alleyway for someone to possess. It wasn't too hard to find someone since I went to the peasant district. I quickly found a small teenage girl curled up in a ball moaning in pain. Immediately I asked myself if this kid knew anyone. The answer was an easy no.

I entered the girl and it was then that she surrendered her body to me. " Please take this body from me, Great spirit. It hurts so much. I would rather die than continue on". Her consciousness that I could normally share the body with then disappeared. I am the official owner of this body now.

I stood up and moved around in my new body for a couple of minutes. After getting used to the body I learned about the attributes of the girl.

Name: None

Age: 14

Gender: Female

Description. This is a girl who has had a terrible disease since birth. She is extremely weak physically but has an unknown affinity for healing and fire magic. She has been in pain since young and was about to die before the possession. Now that I have possessed her I can use her magic multiple times stronger than what she is currently at for power. In other words I am capable of low level magic since she is so weak.

Knowing all of these details I knew how to get rid of the disease. I closed my eyes and searched for the origin of my magic. Every living being has an origin of magic. There are hundreds of affinities. There are the many elemental affinities, the beastly affinities and the lively and deathly affinities. I looked for healing affinity and soon found it.

I grasped that power and willed it to flow through my body and mend the injuries within my body. Slowly I felt warmth increase inside me. And the throbbing I felt in my body dulled into nothingness. Since I can't feel pain it didn't really bother me, but I didn't want this body to be in bad health so I healed it to the best of my ability. Turns out it was just enough to cure my illness.

I felt life course through my body and strength came back to my legs and arms. My body felt comfortably warm and my mind felt clear. I didn't realize it but as I healed, my scars vanished and my skin cleared up. My eyes grew brighter to it's original crimson color and my hair shone with it's silver hair.

I was ready to leave and go into the man's house now and get my revenge. I stood up and began to walk towards his home. It took a couple of hours to get there but I didn't mind it too much since i truely got to experience the town in real life. It was beautiful!

I soon arived to his home and sneaked my way in with ease since everyone was still asleap since the sun isn't up yet. When i entered his room i walked over to his bed and gently woke him up. "Big brother wake up please." i said in a girly voice. He slowly woke up with a smile and looked at his sister waking him up with her red ey- wait what?!

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha! This ideot thought it was his 19 year old sister! Hahahahahahahaha! I quickly hid my amusement and punched the man right in his balls. I used my usual deep voice filled with anger and blood lust. I gave him a haughty grin. "Remember me?"

Imedietly he knew who was talking. Silenus! How did it know where to find him! How was this possible? He quickly cowered in front of me. "Please! Spare me and my family, I am the only provider!" As he pleaded with me, my anger only grew. This guy truely was an ideot. He had no idea that a spirit would follow him into town just from a promis he gave.

"I have an idea how I can punish you, you mortal. You see i saw your sister earlier. She is quite a beau-"

"Take her and spare me please! I'll do anything as long as i can live! I swear i'll tell everyone will know of the Silenus forest."

"Brother how could you?" the young women stood there in the doorway staring at the man cowwering before a young girl. Uh oh. Bad move buddy. You just showed your sister how much you really "cared about her. I ended up laughing out loud. "Hahahahaha! You really are a pitiful man aren't you? I felt sorry about taking away your sister but now i don't feel andy pitty for you at all now." I then turned to the girl and gave her a gentle smile.

"You there. Tell me your name."

" My name is Alice. Who are you and why are you here?"

" My name is Silenus. I am a Grand soul and I reside in the forest that you people call the forest of adventure. I am here to get revenge on this liar but now I no longer care for my home's name right now. I see that you have power in your steps and knowlege in your eyes. How would you like to get away from this filth and go on an adventure with me?"
