Ch.103

Things heated up a bit when we were cloned. My cloned self was much freer and although weaker, seemed relaxed a bit. When we were released, he said he stopped Teal'c from going insane, but now he wanted to work on his new body, asking to borrow my suit. I told him no and he sighed. "I'll copy the information on the technology from Harlan's computers to match them with the suit's scans later then."

I didn't comment and instead told Sam and Jack I'd be waiting at the gate. Robot Sam came over to me while I waited and told me that she still loved me whether I was robotic or organic based materials. I touched her face and smiled. "Whatever part of Sam that is copied to this body, I love it regardless. I'm sure you know that or you would've stayed away."

She nodded with a smile before asking why I was so cold to my other self. I sighed. "I know myself Sam, I always have. I'm like a shark, always moving forward and never back. It's apart of what we talked about and without my moral convictions or soul, I fear what may become of my alternate self. I can't read his mind to know and the thought of remembering everything feels me with dread. Stay close to him Sam, he's going to need you to tell him no every now and then and mean it. At least with four against one you stand a chance on even grounds for keeping him in check."

Sam nodded and told me not to wait too long or her other self will find the ring I'm hiding. She smiled sadly saying she just wished it was for her. I chuckled lightly. "I still need to speak with your father. He's not exactly an easy man to get ahold of and it's a tradition I read about."

She rolled her eyes before smiling and wishing me luck there as well. When she left, it was a good ten minutes later before everyone else came. Harlan had completed a new Teal'c and my robot self was already talking repairs and upgrades to the place once he convinces me to share the scans. Robot Sam said she'd do it because he set me on edge being me and knowing ourselves so well.

He shrugged saying it would prevent his unceremonious execution no doubt so our knowledge didn't get out. Robot Sam came over and asked for a copy of the scans of the facility and the technology. I tapped the screen on my watch while she asked if I'd really execute him. I sighed. "Maybe. It's an option and that's all I can say. Knowing what he knows, what I know, it's dangerous to a degree none of you are prepared to deal with."

I sent the data to her core brain directly with a silvery touch to her head. She smiled sadly and thanked me before saying my Sam had a copy of the data on a hard drive. We soon left and I heard the robot Jack ask how bad it would be if I sent a bomb. My robot copy told him that if I wanted to destroy them burying the gate wouldn't even slow me down.

When we got back to the SGC, I didn't weigh in, just keeping my peace. General Hammond really wanted to know in the end so I sighed. "If there's any part of Sam copied into the synthetic robot, I can't be responsible for her destruction. No matter how small. That's all I'll say."

I stood and left so General Hammond dismissed them after asking Sam if our relationship was going to be a problem. Sam told him we were close, closer than she'd been with anyone, but I'm a civilian contractor and she's military so there's no overlap, I take my cues from herself and Jack. She found me in the shower and I told her that I could never hurt her, no matter what form or body she inhabited.

She got her clothes wet hugging me with a kiss that burned with passion. She sighed. "This is definitely better.".

I snorted lightly. "I swear if you morph into Harlan I'll kidnap your robot self and burn that planet to ashes."

She rolled her eyes with a laugh before we got rid of her soaked fatigues. After sharing the scans and the knowledge on the computer earth had the capabilities to make synthetic robot clones, disintegration guns and advanced brain and neural mapping technology. Granted some of it involved elements they hadn't yet fully understood or had access to so it was moot, but the knowledge was there and theirs.

That alongside the new medical bed technologies, repulser engine technologies from the hover pallet I made and the nanites was a decent start. I took a bunch of staff weapons to my lab on the base and began working with them to start a new project, automatic staff weapon turrets. Sam was busy making a miniature arc reactor at the base and trying to build it into a generator while starting on a solar reactor.

I was finished with the first half dozen for the base when we were sent on our next mission. The technician team took over installing them in the gate room after I installed the controls in the control room. It had auto targeting and could fire as fast as an SMG on a good day. We ended up on a deserted world with a bunch of artifacts from different time periods.

Jack said we had to leave so Daniel asked me for a hand with the mirror and we ended up in an alternate reality. We loaded it onto the pallet and I told him to go see what the others were doing. I loaded half the pallet when he said they left us. I frowned and shrank the pallet once a glass cube went up around the objects.

I put it into my pocket and grabbed my pack. "Let's go. Something doesn't feel right."

We got to earth and found we were held at gunpoint. I grunted. "Well this is new. We come in peace?"

They took my weapons and watch before I frowned as they took the pallet as well. "I'm going to want all that stuff back when whatever procedures you have for us are over."

Daniel freaked and Colonel Hammond as it is in this reality, questioned him. Daniel tried to convince him until I spoke. "Daniel, shut up. We aren't in our reality, we're in a parallel reality from the looks of this place. They wouldn't know you unless you joined the SGC and since they have the balls to point guns at me, clearly they don't know an alternate me or they'd know bullets only tickle me."

Colonel Hammond demanded. "You're not human then?"

I shook my head. "I'm an ancient. A part of the race that built the stargates and seeded them throughout the galaxies. You'll find my blood isn't entirely like your own and beyond that a genetic lock in it will prevent further tampering. If you'd like further proof I can knock out all your men and telekinetically throw you around like a rag doll for a few hours."

He swallowed and I sighed. "We aren't your enemies. We'll take the MRIs or whatever you'd like, but I can prove who we are if and when you're ready to let me."

A soldier shoved Daniel forwards and I grunted as he slammed into the ceiling and stopped just before hitting the floor. I knelt down to his face ignoring the guns. "Curtesy and polite words will get you further. Hurt him and what's left of you'll fit in a big gulp when I stop next time."

He nodded rapidly and I released him as I stood back up, looking to Colonel Hammond. "I'm ready for my MRI now, or do you want me to prove these guns are toys to me?"

He shook his head. "That won't be necessary. Airmen, get these men to the medical facilities for MRIs and cat scans and be polite."

They showed us the way and I went first before humming Gravity by Papa Roach while waiting for Daniel. When we were done, we got a direct introduction to General Jack O'Niell. I smiled seeing him. "So, Mr.Smithers, what shall we do today?"

He gave me an odd look before sighing. "I take it we're friends in this alternate whatever then?"

I shrugged. "Not as close as you and Daniel, but then you've known him longer. Still, we spend the occasional weekend fishing and watching Simpsons over beer at your cabin and my place. I have a theater room your alternate self prefers."

He sighed. "Then help us. Friends can ask friends for help can't they?"

I nodded and asked for my stuff back. He nodded and I took my watch before asking. "What's the problem?"

He told the others to show us and when we saw the ships on the news, I frowned. I tapped my watch and it formed into a black armor off my body. I told it coldly. "Activate protocol alpha one. Exterminate all Jaffa and goa'uld around or on this planet with prejudice. Land the ships and use the sarcophagus's to revive the recent dead."

It spoke in Janus's voice. "As you wish."

It moved to leave and I told them. "I wouldn't get in it's way. Anyone that tries won't survive."

Jack ordered his men to stand down while I turned to take my guns. I strapped them to my belt and took the pallet. I expanded it and moved the mirror carefully against the wall. It was still open to our reality so I told them. "When my armor returns we'll leave through this quantum mirror."

I told them about the planet we got it from and shrank the pallet before they said they got a message from those coordinates before all this started. Daniel was able to decipher the message and no more than twenty minutes later my suit returned covered in blood. I nodded to it and told it to share everything with them. It hacked their databases and upgraded their software before putting a lot of new information into their system.

Their firewalls became impenetrable while there was massive amounts of things downloaded from gate coordinates to upgrades to their dialing programs and knowledge of all the worlds we visited to the technology we'd discovered plus as much about ancient technology that would fit starting with their level and going further. The last bit was about the four races and how to contact them or what remains.

Dr.Samantha Carter came in and I stilled before she asked what was wrong. Daniel had very little tact in saying in our reality we were in a serious relationship. Sam said she and Jack were engaged to be married here in this reality. I smiled. "I'm just happy you can be happy in either reality Sam, no matter who it's with."

She smiled back and thanked me before we returned to our reality after my suit returned to it's watch form. Jack asked about the rifle and I grabbed it. "Sorry kid, it's a railgun rifle. It would snap the spine of any human who used it like tissue paper. It's one hell of a kick and powerful enough to turn the hull of a goa'uld death glider into Swiss cheese. I can't leave it behind, but I've left enough I hope. Oh, and there may be a second stargate as well as an ancient outpost in the Arctic, twenty miles south of McMurdo."

He nodded before asking. "Kid?"

I smirked. "I am four billion years old. I look damned good for my age huh?"

Daniel said we should go and I agreed before grabbing the control dial and touching the mirror, leaving them theirs. I waved from the other side and shut it off after a few tries. We packed it all up and continued, meeting up with the others for one long ass story. General Hammond was hard pressed to believe, but I showed him and Daniel gave them the coordinates.
