Weeks passed by while the SGC dealt with a Za'tarc mind control issue. They called me in and I identified the Za'tarcs before knocking them out and preventing them from committing suicide. I did a sweep of the Tok'ra coming to the ceremony and knocked out Martouf/Lantesh. The rest was fine so the president met with the Tok'ra high chancellor who signed the alliance accords with him to formally solidify the alliance between earth and the Tok'ra.
Two weeks later I was off world on the Tok'ra home world now with both Jacobs. Sam had returned to working at the SGC and her father wanted to spend some time with our son so I took some time off since I'd been working off and on while she was on maternity leave for the last month and a half. Almost a full ten months passed before the gate to earth was able to be open again.
I'd gone by cargo ship and found a temporal anomaly that prevented the ship from entering the solar system. It was nearly pulled apart by tidal forces so I was forced to turn back and wait, raising my son amongst the Tok'ra for that full time. While Jacob appreciated the time he had with his grandson, I knew Sam was heartbroken the moment we returned home and our near one year old was calling her momma the moment he saw her.
We spent our nights watching holovids of baby Jacob growing up. From his first words to his first steps. I held Sam while she cried and told her it wasn't anyone's fault, just bad timing. Weeks later we were called to Russia because they'd obtained the second stargate and were using it until it got stuck open.
Jacob was being babysat by Drey'auc and Ry'ac while Sam and I were on the mission to shut down the russian stargate. When we got there via parachuting out of a plane after meeting a famous russian physicist who was our guide, we found everyone dead mostly and the gate stuck open. I went to Maybourne in the freezer and brought him out while they were preparing the submarine.
I stopped them and told the scientist she was a moron before explaining. "That isn't water, it's trillions of microscopic lifeforms that only look like water, apart of one giant planet covering life-form. You wounded it by taking them away and pissed it off no doubt while the lifeforms are trying to return to it."
I grabbed Maybourne as they woke up in him and told them telepathically how to shut down the gate before telling them. "Leave his body through the gate. Sadly he's an idiot we can't let die unless you have a compelling reason to kill him. Trust me, any reason will do, even if he just stole food from a stranger or slapped a priest."
The aliens just looked at me blankly before bending over and puking themselves out of him. I grunted. "Damn, I was willing to settle for not liking his reflection in the mirror if you all want to just pop back in him for a quick bought of murder."
The mist floated up and through the gate before I turned back to Maybourne. I grunted. "One word and you'll be going through that gate even if I have to beat you unconscious first."
He shook his head and the gate shut off a minute later. The russian female scientist asked how and I grunted. "I told the aliens how to deactivate your nuclear drone. By the by, they said if we return they'll kill us all or at least you all. They like me, not that it matters since they couldn't kill me permanently even if they wanted to."
I looked to Maybourne. "And they especially hate you. Something about using them as living Duracell batteries or other. Yeah, you were slated to drown. I'm almost kicking myself for saying anything to them."
He huffed. "Thanks anyways."
I snorted. "I could live a billion lifetimes without hearing a thanks from someone like you. Traitorous sociopaths aren't very high on my list of people to please."
He went to speak and I punched him, knocking him out cold. I dragged him out when we left and Jack woke him up on the plane out of there while he was in cuffs being taken back to be dumped in a hole. Weeks passed and I was in Sam's lab with her and our son while we worked. I was finishing up the prototype Titan-0-2, a long range anti-ship gun meant for surface to air strikes via handheld cannon of sorts.
It was so damned powerful and big the aftershock broke my shoulder the first time I fired it on a testing drone. Luckily I added an extendable spike butt end that mounted into the ground or whatever vehicle I was in just before firing, reducing the recoil to next to nothing. With a trinium body, it was just bulky after that and most of that was the eight round drum of kinetic electromagnetic bullets.
It would shred a death glider, fuck up a cargo or alkesh ship and even punch a hole in a hatak class ship if it didn't have shields. I called it the Titan-0-2 but Jack called it the BFG and even he enjoyed firing it once the recoil spike was in place. He and Teal'c quite enjoyed seeing it tear apart even the toughest drones we had before saying he'd take a dozen.
I told him only if Sam makes them or someone else figured out how because this was my personal weapon. He asked about the railgun and I shrugged, telling him it was good fore killing people at a distance or poking holes in death gliders, but the BFG was good for wiping out groups or straight up decimating alkesh bombers if they hit the right spot and with eight rounds that wasn't hard.
I told him to cheer up because it was pretty basic and the egg heads could figure it out easy once they knew how it was built so he'd have his own in no time. Anyways, I was in Sam's lab putting the finishing touches on it when we heard Daniel was abducted by and Unas. Sam and I went with the team while Janet watched Jacob. He was in timeout for making mommy float and fall.
I caught her but he still needed to understand his powerful abilities weren't to be used against his mother. He may only be barely one year old, but his intellect matched a five year old and to call him gifted would be like calling me old, an understatement of absurd proportions. Anyways, we got Daniel back and saved several people thanks to the nanite shots that simply remove symbiotes after knocking them out so they can't kill the host.
He wasn't infected but several of the military contingent were. On the bright side Daniel made an Unas friend so there was that. Next up was the Enkarans nearly being killed by the Gadmeer terraforming ship. I settled things quickly for the Enkarans and the ship, getting a full download of all the Gadmeer knowledge and sharing the full Alteran repository of knowledge. The Enkarans got a ride to their home world while we went back to earth peacefully, no fuss.
A big issue happened a few weeks later when Sam and I freed a bunch of slaves from a civilization that was using them to keep their some city warm during an ice age. The city's power failed and we sent them all to a tropical planet. The big issue came when their leader tried to have Sam killed and I brutally ripped his arms off before he ran through a plate glass window and fell forty stories to his death.
The natives weren't too happy with us and barely listened to reason before the slaves let me explain everything. The shut up and got their tropical planet with all their stuff while we parted ways with them. General Hammond asked if it was necessary and I told him he'd have lived had he not run out the window. I shrugged saying he tried to shoot Sam just out of spite so I reacted the same.
The next big issue was the X-301 project Jack and Teal'c were demonstrating that went sideways. We had to use the cargo ship to get them back because the damned thing had goa'uld parts meshed in thanks to the people at Area 51 being too lazy to build their own damned tech. Their excuse was time constraints which was bullshit because I'd built a dozen gate ship fighter needles the SGC deployed on multiple occasions.
Soon enough Daniel fount Osiris and his ex girlfriend was the new host who ended up taking the goa'uld cargo ship out people were unburying in Egypt. Daniel almost captured her but alas, she damned near killed him in the process and got away. Weeks turned into months as Teal'c was eventually captured by Heru'er's men on a recruitment mission for Bra'tac.
We saved him, another Jaffa and a Tok'ra operative aboard Heru'er's ship while setting the mines to blow up several of Apophis's ships he'd had cloaked. Heru'er was dead and Apophis was quickly taking over his fleet. Soon the Trust moved against Hammond and found he had leverage enough to see them all executed for treason.
