Ch.133

It came down to Dawson, Helia and I who were discussing it when Rodney found an ancient outpost on a destroyed planet that had been a study of a new power source I hadn't worked on. I told him. "It was one of Janus's projects and it didn't work because the energy drawn from our own space time created exotic particles randomly. Since even we cannot predict random events there's no possible way to use it without tearing a whole in our own space time. All the people that volunteered to go in and shut it down died except for me and I had to wait for pickup because the jumper was destroyed along with the entire civilization the device was on."

Rodney said he could finish it and I grunted. "And predict random events that are inherently unpredictable, that would make you omnipotent and therefore a god. By all means, go and turn it on, but when you tear a whole in space time and kill this entire reality, I'll still be floating in the void with enough air to tell you I told you so."

John told him. "Rodney, you're not turning the damned thing on. If the man says it can't be done then I've learned it can't be done."

I left them to that as Sam began explaining particle physics on a higher level than McKay could comprehend and seeing him become sour for not being the smartest person in the room even without an ancient was only so funny. The bots headed there and took the device apart after I took the weapon. I copied all the database of Atlantis onto the former Asuran city ship and finally broke even with the argument Helia, Dawson and I were having in the council.

My second suit and the war ship Hippaforalkus returned so I told Sam I was taking her and the Atlantis expedition back to the Milky Way galaxy. They boarded the ship that had five war ships on it and I wished Dawson, Faora and Helia the best. Ronan joined me saying it was boring as hell with the wraith gone and Atlantis wasn't that fun. I took the skeleton of Drogon and left the planet once it was put away.

My suit started up the star drive and we flew to the Milky Way, landing on the Heliopolis planet before. I had a a third of the potentia and all the contents of my old off world lab as well as the lab I had on Atlantis. To that end I intended to complete the mark two potentia. The mark one was essentially a pocket universe in a bottle that could only give so much energy before it gave out.

The mark two was in theory limitless energy and the equivalent of a multiverse in a bottle, taking energy from thousands of smaller universes in small quantities to equal a far greater quantity. Sadly, if it exploded it would be a Big Bang all over again. With the gate from the Genii, I didn't need the gate buried in the ocean, but I still took it and put an Iris welded on it before putting it in storage. From there I dialed earth using the new point of origin and sent the Atlantis military contingent home after shutting power to the SGC temporarily.

I let Dr.Weir and her scientists stay and study things in their new ancient labs while I went back to earth with the military and Sam. General Hank Landry asked what was going on and I sighed. "Would you like the king explanation or the short one?"

He frowned before having us head to the meeting room. I told him the war with the wraith was over, Atlantis was fine and the Ancients that remained were weary of battle and wanted to be without distractions like the Atlantis expedition who were literally living next door to them and asking questions. I shrugged. "Basically they wanted to be left alone and your people weren't going to do that even if it was innocent curiosity. I argued with them for the last year since we'd found them and now it's come to the point where they made it clear, either they go or they drop them on a different planet regardless because it was two against one."

I tilted my head. "Faora sided with me when she arrived to allow your people to stay but that only made things worse to the point where most were thinking of splitting with us. My people are six hundred and three in total including the traitor Amara who is to remain in stasis until her body fails entirely or she ascends. They simply cannot afford to split up so I left, leaving them thirteen warships and two city ships with a Lagrange satellite weapon to defend Atlantis."

I sat back and Sam told him. "He took a city ship and five warships to aid you since Faora said you needed help with fighting the goa'uld, Sir. He's allowing the scientists to stay and hoping you'll let Major Shepard and myself return with IOA representatives to form a council over the scientists to keep them from blowing themselves up while John and I fly the ships with him in battle against the goa'uld with General O'Neill's help since General Hammond has retired."

General Landry looked me over and asked. "And the military aren't allowed on your city ship I take it?"

I shrugged. "I figured they were of better use here since the city can be defended by it's shield and a weapons chair platform. It has a far more advanced Iris than your own and no reason to be manned when your men can be used elsewhere in the fight against the goa'uld. The city is automated and I can control it from here through the high chancellor commands thanks to the subspace neural network in my suit. Basically I'd know if it was in danger and I can simply think it for the city to respond to my whims."

He nodded. "I see. Is that technically you're willing to share?"

I shook my head. "That's not how it works. Your people have a repository of knowledge. Use it, grow, advance and inherit the knowledge of your ancestors as it were assuming you're a descendent of my people."

He sighed. "In that case I'm happy to have my men back and the help. Lt.Colonel Carter may remain with Major Shepard until you decide otherwise, but I'll have to speak with the IOA about this more hands on civilian council you want assigned there."

I nodded and told him I'd forward all the information and battle reports from the war that his people played their part in so he may evaluate them for promotions if he deems them appropriate. I smiled. "Your people helped stop the oppression of an entire galaxy and won a war General, they're heroes in every sense of the word and speaking as the oldest General in the history of the human race, they all impressed the hell out of me."

He smiled. "I'll take that into consideration."

I tapped my suit and brought off a pad before passing it to him. "Touch that to any computer and it'll download the files for every officer and civilian that fought in the war. They're strictly observable videos of every firefight and battle. Their skills and ability to improvise and adapt are noted in the files which I figured was easier to point out for your consideration. All of it is non bias objective outlooks on all of their performances."

He thanked me and tapped it to his laptop, watching the information simply upload to it before he passed the empty data pad back. I told him that I had a few things to do and that included heading to see the Asgard so if he needed to pass on a message now was the time. He told me to ask that they help with finding all the Goa'uld as well since they promised to do so long ago.

A Lantean war ship beamed Sam, John and I up before I brought us to the Ida galaxy. There, we met with the Asgard who were wearing small inhibitors a over their eyes that slowed their own extreme cellular degradation down. It was the best Faora could do even with my blood serum and her cellular genome mapping device she left them. I suggested they simply clone an ancient and adjust their genome before mapping their minds to them.

Heimdall nearly fell over in the lab saying the genetic lock on the Ancients was beyond their abilities to solve. I told them. "That's because I'm literally the only ancient alive that can unlock them coding for you then. I was a bit busy fighting a war, but I'm here now. I'd let you clone me but my other genetics prevent such things from turning out well. Still, I just cloned five hundred ancients and I have their genomes memorized so if you'd like-"

Heimdall waved me to the console. "By all means."

I smiled and put my suited hand to it and transferred the data before suggesting they combined it with the stable Asgard DNA to create a hybrid form for them so they'd be more compatible since the Ancient's physiology was more than capable of handling their brainpower and even adding to it. Heimdall was practically vibrating in excitement while I changed the structure on the machine to a more stable one when combining the genome characteristics.

In the end even Sam was stumped while I finished all five hundred genomes, telling Heimdall they can change hair and personal features to match whatever looks they desire and so long as they keep these specific saved genomes they can hop into new clones made with them as needed without further cellular degradation if they choose to continue this form of immortality. Heimdall thanked me and I shrugged before saying we were actually here so I could tell them it was time to keep their promise and help finish off the goa'uld.

He nodded and said he'd hail commander Thor now since he was helping set up a new settlement now that their people were regaining bodies again after so long. I told him to pass on the message that in three days five Lantean war ships would move out and begin decimating all goa'uld while freeing the Jaffa either by choice or by force so that they can no longer incubate larval goa'uld. I sighed and gave him the serum formulas for the Tretonin and the super soldier serum before telling him the goa'uld larva would be returned to the marked home worlds and their stargates removed along with the naquadah to prevent them from making anymore ships even if they find new hosts or evolve to leave the primordial waters of their home worlds.
