Once Yui joined them in the game they had assumed she would be able to help like she had in all of the other games, however, the map being infinite put her at risk for overload and basically shorting out for awhile. After a few careful experiments though she was able to control her search to a decent size, allowing them to know that there was only one NPC in the ancient city that they started in. As they made their way towards that singular program they still searched the houses and were able to collect some coins that added to their base currency levels and along with some bread, milk and honey.
Kirito was opening an abandoned chest inside one of the houses when he started talking. "Last night you said that they've already collected The breast plate of Righteousness, the belt of truth, and the sword of the spirit… did the files say how they found the sword?"
Asuna's eyebrow raised. "You want to get the sword don't you? Even though it won't actually help us get closer to beating this thing…"
Kirito blushed, 'ugh, she knows me too well...' He thought before speaking. "I feel naked in a game without a sword… doing spells just feels foreign to me." Asuna rolls her eyes even though she feels the same way.
"The file said it could be found in a cave near the city of Jerusalem." Asuna relays the information from the file with a smirk and a cocked hip.
He walks over to her, his tail moves to find her's and twist around it once. "Thank you." He whispers against her lips before giving a quick peck that makes Yui groan before walking out of the house.
"You're shameless." Asuna taps his nose.
"Your fault." He says as he fake pouts and turns to close the chest he had been digging through and add the thirty coins into his inventory.
"How so?" She asks, her tail beginning to spin around his even more.
When he stands he pushes her to the wall, their wings fall down as a deep blush fills her cheeks and his haughty breath hits her skin. "I was content with a virtual sex life… maybe content is the wrong word… I was willing to commit to waiting until we were ready for kids to feel these parts of you in the real world." His fingers trail up between her thighs until he reaches the apex and presses his palm firmly against he heat. "You weren't, and I'm afraid you unlocked a new level of me…" His palm begins to rotate and roll over her clit and she leans her forehead on his should as she starts to quietly moan.
"K— Kirito— Yui is just outside…" She breathes heavenly into his ear.
He pulls away and as their tails begin to unwind he huffs. "It's a good thing I know that whatever we do in here won't be half as good as what I'm going to do to you when we are done in here today." A loud groan from Yui outside makes both of them both pale.
Kirito kind of apologizes to his daughter. "I just really love mommy…" He puts on a cheesy grin before resting his hands on the back of his head and walks ahead towards the only NPC showing on Yui's map.
As soon as they see the NPC they run to it. A man sits against one of the buildings, his clothes tattered, his limbs skinny, he appears to be starving. Asuna pulls some of the milk, they found on the way from her inventory. "Here, drink this." She helps the man to slowly drink and as he does some of his muscles start to come back. When he finishes Kirito pulls the bread and honey from his inventory and pours some of the honey on to a piece of the bread and hands it to the frail man piece by piece until the loaf is gone and the jar disappears.
"Thank you. I never expected such kindness from demons like you. I wish I could repay you for your kindness, but I have nothing." The man still looks tired, but he no longer looks like a skeleton.
"You don't need to repay us." Kirito shakes his head and hands as he speaks. "Could just tell us where the rest of your village is? We've been searching for awhile but it seems abandoned."
The program begins to shake his head. "All I know is that they've all gone, and I need a lot to get them back."
Asuna looks to Kirito and they both nod their heads before she returns her gaze to the NPC. "We don't have much. Just 108 coins, some fish, and a little more bread. Will that help?"
The program begins nodding his head and when they transfer everything they had in their inventory and their currency to him he began to weep as he spoke. "Thank you! Thank you! I don't know if I will ever be able to repay you."
Asuna and Kirito were both shaking their heads and hands now as he reassured the man that he doesn't need to worry about it. "Could you point us in the direction of Jerusalem?" Kirito asks as they all stand. The program points to the North and after they bow to the program they begin to walk in the direction he pointed.
Once they were far enough away Yui spoke up. "I don't understand… why did you give him all of your money and things?" Her eyebrows are nearly touching in the middle as she continues with a slightly tilted head. "He's just a program, and he didn't seem attached to any kind of quest that would bring you any kind of benefit… So why help him?"
The couple look at each other with soft smiles before Kirito replies. "We helped him, even though he is an NPC, because he is an NPC. Your mommy and I both know that how we treat programs does have an effect on the way we live in the real world, and we know that they are capable of feelings, so we want to treat them well, all because of you Yui." He smiles and that smile grows as he seems the blush on Yui's face.
