The two of them laughed until tears rolled from their eyes while Chen Li stared at them wide-eyed, why were they exaggerating?

After they had finished laughing Chen Li turned to the old man and asked, "What are you going to do now that you have retired?" it was a genuine question. The old man had been somewhat a father to him so this was a genuine concern.

Zhuang Li Yu leaned back in his seat with a liquor cup in hand, "I will probably play golf with some of my friends…" He answered leisurely, "Then probably take a disciple or two."

"I thought you were old bones. Are you not worried you will swing the golf club and swing away with it?" Chen Li said in his typical sharp tongue. Zhuang Li Yu coughed when he heard him while Xiao Lu burst into another fit of laughter; Chen Li's words were always poisonous.

The old man shouted angrily, "You…you…can't anything nice come out of your mouth even once?" He was stammering so badly.

When Chen Li heard him, he stuffed a piece of chicken in his mouth and then looked at him. His eyes seemed to be saying, 'My mouth is full, I cannot talk to you!' Zhuang Li Yu was so angry that he almost slapped him away.

The chicken in his mouth tasted a bit different from the ones he was used to so after he swallowed, he turned to Xiao Lu and asked, "Did you get a new chef?"

Xiao Lu was a bit stunned. As expected, nothing could pass the eyes of this man but then again…how did he know?

"Why do you ask?" Xiao Lu asked out of curiosity.

"The chicken tastes different today" Chen Li answered unconsciously then picked another piece with his chopsticks. Xiao Lu looked at him. He was debating whether to tell him or not that he had already found a replacement for Zhuang Li Yu.

The reason why he was hesitating was that this demon king liked to poach his good people away!!

He was worried that he would try to sweet-talk Ling Fen into going with him.

"What's with that look?" Chen Li asked when he felt a gaze on him. Xiao Lu sighed and wanted to answer but before he did, the big mouth Zhuang Li Yu already said on his behalf, "Yes he did. That is the disciple I am taking in so do not think of anything in that head of yours."

He issued a warning early. Chen Li's mouth hung open then he pointed a finger at himself, "Am I that kind of person?"

Both Xiao Lu and Zhuang Li Yu stared at him with eyes that said, 'You know yet you are still asking'

Chen Li laughed and then plopped another piece of chicken inside his mouth.

After the three had spent some time together, it was time for them to depart. Xiao Lu escorted Chen Li outside while Zhuang Li Yu went straight to the kitchen. On the way to his car, Chen Li received a phone call, it was his father.

When Chen Li saw who it was, he hung up immediately. Xiao Lu laughed at the side. "The old man is still pressurizing you to those blind dates?"

Xiao Lu had been friends with him for so long and the other's family was like family to him too.

In all those years he knew this man, not once had he seen him interested in a woman. He was thirty-one years old already yet there were still no signs.

His father tried hard to get him to go on blind dates but none of them were successful. Many women tried to plaster themselves to him but this devil only sent them away with a flick of his finger.

Chen Li turned to him, "How about we go visit him this weekend?" The offer was nice yet Xiao Lu felt a foreboding feeling rising within him but he still readily accepted.

When Chen Li turned to speak to him, the side he was facing was the hotel entrance. As a coincidence, Ling Fen was also coming out to pick up a phone call.

Chen Li stared at her and felt that she was a bit familiar. Xiao Lu followed his gaze when he felt that Chen Li had stopped talking, at the entrance of the hotel stood Ling Fen speaking on a phone.

Chen Li suddenly remembered her. His eyes lit up.
