After her father threw her and her mother out of the family, Ling Fen decides to work in small restaurants to earn some money for their family.
Her adoptive brother, Gong Xu also works together with his sister but because they fight too much, they are fired from one job to the next, and this way none of them can keep a single job they are hired in.

Her initial dream is to own her own hotel franchise but she does not have the capital to start.

On the way to her dream, she meets many challenges on the way but is able to avoid them in time.

She also meets the boss of the Li Group, Chen Li who ends up falling in love with her and protects her along the way.

SUPER CHEF FEN FEN

Ling Fen was in the kitchen when Zhuang Li Yu came in. the old man was even more energetic now that he was idling at home. Yu Lili and Ou Tingzi clamored around him as soon as he crossed the threshold to the kitchen.


"Elder Zhuang, Xiao Lili missed you so much." Yu Lili clamored around him and then stuck to him like glue. Her fake tears were all over her face and her snot was threatening to dangerously touch Zhuang Li Yu's impeccable clothes.


When the elder saw this, he could not help but avoid her hands.


"Where is your hair net?" the old man reproached.


Can't he just greet the other normally?


Yu Lili pouted and then went over to cover her hair. 


Zhuang Li Yu on the other hand walked around while doing some inspections here and there. All the kitchen staff greeted him respectfully.


 Although Zhuang Li Yu was quite famous, he never once treated them badly and even acted as a teacher to them. They had nothing but respect for him.


The old man reached where Lin Feng was standing and stared at the food she was making, it was the same noodles that she made during her interview. Back then he noticed that although they tasted good, they lacked in-hotel experience.


Cooking at home was very different from cooking for a hotel.


He stared at the noodles to make changes here and there but before he opened his mouth, Ling Fen beat him to it, "Elder Zhuang, have you been well?"


Her voice was dainty and her tone clear. The old man looked up and stared at her. For some unknown reason, he felt that he looked awfully familiar but he could not quite put his finger on who exactly she looked like from his memories.


Back then, he had not taken a clear look at her and only focused on her cooking but now that she was close to him, that feeling of familiarity rose sharply within him. He looked back to the noodles and remembered that he was supposed to criticize them so he started, "You cannot use too much oil..."


Ling Fen was left speechless. She had only asked if he had been well and had been answered with criticism instead. The old man talked for half an hour before he was satisfied and then left. By that time, Ling Fen felt her ears ache from all the shouting. Yu Lili and Ou Tingzi sent her pitiful smiles.


She had just sat down when her phone rang. The caller was Gong Xu. Luckily her shift was over so she bade farewell to her co-workers then left after changing then called Gong at the entrance just like she was told. She called Gong Xu back as she reached the door.


"I'm on my way; wait for me at the entrance I will pick you up." Gong Xu said as soon as he picked up the call. Ling Fen nodded even though she knew that the other could not see him. She hung up and then waited


Today Gong Xu was going to audition for a role in one of the popular upcoming films. Ling Fen did not know the reason why his family kicked him out back then but she guessed it had to do with his dream of becoming an actor.


Gong Xu had never spoken clearly about what had happened back at his home but Ling Fen guessed that it was not quite simple.


For some reason, Ling Fen felt as though someone was looking at her but when she turned to look, there was no second person outside but her. Gong Xu picked her up ten minutes later and he also for some reason shuddered out of nowhere.


His back became itchy all o a sudden. He looked at the sun which was still quite high up then said to himself, 'Strange…why do I feel cold all of a sudden'


What the two did not know was that in the black car parked nearby, a certain demon king was having a jealous fit. Xiao Lu who was beside him was speechless.


He had seen Chen Li's mood turn from loving to murderous in a second when the other man came and took Ling Fen away.


The unreasonable Chen Li said matter of factly.
