HE IS THE ONE

Ling Fen's face heat up and her eyes sparkled brightly when she saw Qiao Zilan walking toward them. His face was equally beaming when he was them.

He looked at his perfect second male lead and satisfaction filled his heart and towards Ling Fen and his heart became even happier. He greeted them and showed them inside while talking to Ling Fen, "I waited for your call."

Ling Fen almost tripped, "Director, I told you I have another passion,"

Qiao Zilan simply turned around, "Really? Then call me if you want to act,"

These were the same words he had told her back then. Ling Fen could not help but worry, don't tell me that he will be asking me this every time we meet!

This was bound to be tragic. Gong Xu simply laughed silently at her predicament.

Qiao Zilan introduced them to some of the cast members who had arrived and the crew who were going to work on the film.

Some of the people were happy to see them while others had lukewarm tones while greeting them. Ling Fen and Gong Xu understood the reason why.

Many people were expecting popular stars like Zhao Qing or Zhang Ying would be given the role of the second male lead but it had unexpectedly gone to an unknown person.

Qiao Zilan had also received quite a bit of rejection from the board and investors but he stood his ground and even declared that he would not direct the film if Gong Xu was not in it. This threat managed to quell the anger in those investors.

Even though the water was calm, there were still people who held different beliefs and some of them were friends of Zhao Qing while others were friends of Zhang Ying so they were bound to revenge in a different way on behalf of their friends.

They also noticed how Director Qiao Zilan gave special attention to Gong Xu. Some of the ladies were already feeling jealous of Ling Fen even though she was not an actress.

Qiao Zilan personally took Gong Xu to his trailer and introduced him to the cameramen who were also at the back.

Director Qiao suddenly exclaimed, "Ah! Xiao Xu, there is someone I want you to meet,"

He was looking around as if searching for someone and once he saw Xia Ming walking from the other side, his face beamed while he called him over, "Little Xia, come over."

In the whole entertainment industry, Qiao Zilan was probably the only person who could call Xia Ming over like this.

Xia Ming's name was gold amongst other elements, it was simply too bright. Ling Fen and Gong Xu turned around and saw Xia Ming heading over their way.

Xia Ming was especially handsome. His face was clean and his clothes simple. He did not put on the air of a big star when he greeted them, "Hello, I am Xia Ming."

He greeted Ling Fen and Gong Xu politely with his mouth holding the hint of a smile.

The points Ling Fen had for him rose to an infinite level. She looked at him as if she was looking at a star. She could not help but sigh once again; this was how a star should greet others!

"Little Xia, he was the one I was telling you about," Qiao Zilan introduced. "His name is Gong Xu and he will pay Mo Jiamu," he continued while Gong Xu looked up.

Xia Ming smiled towards him, "Someone who Director Qiao praises cannot be ordinary. Gong Xu, I look forward to working with you." He then reached out his hand

What Xia Ming said was true. Qiao Zilan hardly praised anyone. He was strict even when giving out his praises which was why he was startled when he suddenly called him happily and told him he found a perfect 'Mo Jiamu.'

Gong Xu reached towards his hand and shook it slightly. It was a bit soft but held the strength of a man who worked out. He looked up and saw the beaming face of Xia Ming and mentally clapped for director Qiao.

The man standing before him bore resemblance to the male lead. It was as if it was written with him in mind.

He could not help but comment, "You really look a lot like Rong Li."
