Who had the power?

"GRRRRR... YOU'RE DEAD OLD-BEAST! If you leave here in one piece today I will not wear a leopard skin on my body another day." Helen's spouse growled lowly at Harmon but the man laughed it off immediately.

"HAHAHA! That's quite entertaining!" Harmon laughed hysterically, he bent over, covering his stomach for laughing so hard. He turned around to direct at his family member who didn't look much amused "Do you even believe this jokester?"

"DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU!" The young leopard was about to turn the full beast, jumping at the big old Lion without hesitation to sacrifice himself for his partner's honor. But before he could make its move, a voice stuck his ears like the thunder of a beast God, freezing him in the spot.

"SILENCEEEEE!" Porsogon raised his voice loudly, it was the first time he had shouted that loud in front of everyone. His echoed voice scared every beast on the court, they froze immediately on the spot and dropped whatever they were doing to be on their knees. Even the cowardly Helen had to roll over to be on her own.

The court held its silence even minutes after Porsogon's command, they could even hear the sound of each wind blowing outside the room. Porsogon took a few seconds to recompose his thoughts.

At this point Porsogon believed interrogating the two in front of every beast was not going to work in his favor, and he admitted that Harmon was full of tricks to get things off his back. He decided it was better to solve this mystery in private, this way he would only find a satisfactory answer, and not misjudged the situation.

"We shall dismiss this matter for now. However, there is another urgent matter that needs tending to." Porsogon words surprised everyone, especially Helen. She lifted her head in disbelieve and busted out crying, then soon be carried back into line by her spouses.

Harmon smirked like a jerk. After the show, he had finally won against the youngsters. Thinking to himself, maybe he had overestimated this new leader of theirs.

in the corner of the room, two twinkling green globes brightened. Viosus immediately understood what Porsogon was about to say, he tightened his fists, he couldn't help the excitement. Sabal who was pretending like he was about to sleep finally made a move, he tilted his body to the side facing Viosus and Neo's back.

"It has come to my attention that Fox's clan Master was kidnapped by the Goats. We are now going to assist them in retrieving their master..." Before Porsogon could finish his sentence, the whole court had been hit with an uproar. The elderlies didn't seem in favor of Porsogon's command.

An old hawk beast with white wings and claws stepped out of line and kneeled to Porsogon.

"Headmaster! I must propose an objection to the command. They are simply just a minute clan that is not worth wasting our resources for." His gray hair shaken from side to side, he had been protecting this court for many generations, he couldn't let a new leader destroyed all the efforts they had built.

Porsogon raised his right eyebrows, glaring down at the old hawk from Neo's related family. He had thought the Hawk family would be the last one to oppose to his order. Before Porsogon could think of a response, another head from the Minks stepped out of line and kneeled.

"Indeed Master! We cannot assist the Fox clan for their head is rumored to be the cursed beast in the prophecy, my beasts can attest to that!"

Another uproar of debated filled the whole room, this time even louder than the last. Viosus grip curled even tighter now that he had found the one responsible for Yilas's injuries and the kidnap of two of their members. If it wasn't for the court to be here, he would have torn that brown mink to pieces. Neo noticed Viosus anger though he simply thought Vio was only offended by the court's disapproval, he patted the red fox's back to calmed him down a bit.

"Headmaster... please trust the Minks!"

"Master! Master! Please, we cannot help the foxes!"

"..."

Another and then another lower family head took a stand and supported the Minks and the Hawks, though they were simply doing it to be in favor of the side they had chosen.

After the long and noisy commission, Porsogon still hadn't spoken. He was getting agitated and his body was growing more tired and painful by the second, however, he remained calm in his expression.

"I think we should at least try..." Porsogon eyes followed the familiar old voice.

It belonged to an old boar beast with his fur all gray, though usually, the court would not allow a beast to be present without being in at least some civil form. This beast-man was a giant boar from head to toe, he was even walking on all fours. Nonetheless, he was still the first in line and also the oldest, proving his high status within the ranking.

The old boar spoke calmly against all the other family's heads, they all looked at him in confusion.

"I said... we should try it. It will certainly benefit us greatly if we had a reason to gobble up the Goat's territory. If not, at least having the one in the prophecy would lead more animals to join our land." Some beasts within the crowded got swayed, they were nodding and their heads and humming in agreement.

"Really Gallant?" The Hawk beast instantly showed his disapproval, he even looked to others for reassurance "What about the danger that is going to bestow upon us? Our peace agreement with the Goat's city had been strong for many years, we can't risk it because some sleazy made up prophecy? Have you finally gone senile?"

"Hohoho...." The old boar beast-man laughed the insult right off "When I was your age, I was serving the 3rd headmaster in this court, and now on when the 7th one arrives, I am still here. But I doubt you will last long, Callum, if you can't even remember our heritage, the reason we formed this clan to in the beginning. You see, I might be old but my memory hasn't faded. I can recall every last word the 3rd headmaster instructed me when he left the court, and do you know what it might be?"

The old Hawk Callum shook his head slowly from side to side, just by a simple words, Gallant had reminded him of his standing. Now, Callum was even worried about his life.

"He said, "As long as a boar-man can walk, no land on earth shall be unconquered...". And it looks like for many generations, we had forgotten our goals. " Though Gallant couldn't see much from his eyes anymore, those dark black eyes still scared many, especially when it was glaring directly at them.
