The Savior

"Enough of this madness, we don't need him so why are you bringing him into this?" Mohsen angrily shouted, he was not the slightest content with his Master decision on giving Yilas to this barbaric beast-man that harmed her twice. "Did you even know that he tried to poison her twice?"

Mame looked shocked, she tried to confirm what Mohsen had just said by looking at Yilas but the little female was hiding her face, not wanting to deal with the confrontation.

"Is that true?" Mame sternly asked Zassar, he instantly dropped his head on the floor again, begging like a little puppy.

"M-Madam, it was all a misunderstanding, I only brought Yilas and Mohsen food because they had worked so hard during the day. I-It was only meant to help them to regain their strength. I-I swear on ancestors, there was no poison in them." Zassar quickly fired his rebuttal. Thinking logically, there was nothing wrong with him helping his colleagues. So Mame wouldn't suspect his reasoning.

"Y-YOU!" Mohsen couldn't hold his cool any longer, he was so mad the vein on his forehead was about to explode. He couldn't believe how shameless this beast was, bending the facts only to suit his ill intentions. "THOSE WERE APHRODISIAC FRUITS! DID YOU KNOW HOW MUCH IT HAD HARMED HER? IT FORCED HER TO BLEED BEFORE FULLY MATURING..."

Mohsen yelled and yelled until Mame had to raise her hand and stopped him. Further bickering would only bring shame to Yilas, though it was enough for Mame to grasp the entire situation.

Since the matter was most painful for Yilas, Mame decided to ask for her opinion.

"Yilas, my child, is that what had happened?"

After some hesitation, Yilas lightly spoke "it's somewhat true, but it wasn't entirely his fault…"

Zassar immediately pounced his head against the ground over and over again, repeated screaming "I'm sorry Master, it was only a mistake, I know nothing of it. P-Please, believe me!"

"Enough!" Mame stopped Zassar from spouting nonsense. She rubbed her fingers between the eyebrows, Mame was truly disappointed in her generals. "Go back to your tent and self-disciplined for 3 whole days. Until then, no one is allowed in or out of that place."

As soon as Mame gave her order, the guard from outside came in as quick as lightning and took the crying and begging Zassar away. Somewhat of a burden was lifted off Mohsen's back. However, it was now only up to him to persuade Mame to matchmake him and Yilas.

Sitting at the main house table, Sabal slyly giggled, and asked Neo.

"So what about the candidates? Do you know anyone that female likes or show any interest to?"

"I don't know, how do females behave when they are interested?" Neo, who was a complete newbie when it came to the opposite's sex couldn't possibly understand women. Unfortunately, either was Sabal. This man had only had fees close interaction with one female, Yilas. So in this field, Sabal was also utterly clueless.

"Just how Yilas treats me, maybe..."

Although Sabal said that, all Neo thoughts were about how Yilas was always gentle toward him. She would laugh at his jokes and comfort him when the snake bullied him. He remembered how Yilas was very attentive and sensitive about others' emotions. She could always tell when one of them were sad or under the weather even if nobody else noticed. Her approach to things was also generous, she never called out anybody or criticized when somebody did something wrongs. In stead she would encourage them when they worked hard.

The more he thought about Yilas, the bigger the sadness side tracked him. Neo twisted and turned his chin, he was thinking so heard his normally smooth and clear forehead appeared wrinkly, but after a while, something finally came up.

"I know! There is this young Bear Beast I have seen a couple of times at the training ground. Somebody told me he saved Serene from preys when she was young and practicing to fly. She can't say no to her savior so the Bear will be a perfect candidate."

"Alright, let's go find this bear then!" Sabal excitedly dragged Neo to the door. He was in more of an urgent than Neo was for some strange reason.

They left without saying informing anything to the other two men in the house, which were in the master bedroom.

In the center of the place were big block of flat wood for tables and smaller blocks for chairs. On top of the table disorganized fabric scrolls and flatly pressed tree trunks laid on top of one another. Viosus who was reading each of the plans attentively had a stern expression on his face, he couldn't let himself relax for one minute scheming this attack.

"Once we set camp for 1000 beast-man at this forest right here it will takes about 3 days before we can attack..." Porsogon slowly and calmly pointed at the location on the map. Through previous expeditions, the Boar clan had obtain an efficient map of all the land which was a great advantage over the others.

Though understood that in order for this mission to succeed, they needed numbers to fight against the Goat's clan in case a war broke out. However, bringing more heads also had it disadvantages, especially when it came to time. They had only about 10 days left before the full-moon night, the earlier and faster they move, the higher chance of survival Yilas would have.

"We can't take that many, it would already take 8 full days to march an entire army to that location. Not to mention it will take another day or two to get close enough to the city premises. Bringing that many beast-man will only cause us to slow down."Viosus pointed out the big loophole, Porsogon though saw it was coming, couldn't risk doing otherwise.

If a war was to happen, only 1000 soldiers wouldn't be enough to contain the Goat's entire forces. But it would be enough to preserve the lives of those beasts. With 1000 beasts they could intimidate their enemies while able to fend for themselves before reinforcements came. Any less in numbers and they could be risk being annihilated by the herbivores.

With that thought, Porsogon's brows knitted together close. He was displeased with what Viosus had to say.
