"Status Close."

The Doom. Even now, I still can't understand what that means. It's both a title and a curse I'm inflicted with. I can't open the Title List to look at the title's description. And every time I try to access the curse's description, I only get gibberish and weird symbols. Then a massive headache will erupt. Sometimes it's so painful I faint right away. I can withstand an attack that takes half my HP and not even feel pain due to my high Pain Resistance and Willpower.

Not to mention my blood coming out of my nose. Or my ears. Or even my eyelids.

Even that, I never lost a single hit point.

Well, it was a good way to max my Unusual State Recovery skill. At least there is something positive that come out of it.

Also the EXP. Everyone knows that Level 100 is the highest that you can reach in ANY class. Now, anyone who has reached Level 100 in any class is like mine. And nothing can increase my EXP beyond zero. We've tried every method to gain EXP, nothing. And I'm not only one like this. Every one that has reached Level 100 in a class is like this.

And it was like that ever since we destroyed the last dungeon.

"Are we der yet?"

"We're not there yet."

A few minutes later. "Are we der yet?"

"Not there yet."

A few more minutes later. "Are we der yet?"

"Not yet."

Yet a few more minutes later. "Are we der yet?"

"Not. Yet."

Even more minutes later. "Are we der yet?"

"No."

Not even a minute later. "Are we der yet?"

"For the 257th time, you bloody dwarf, we are not there..."

"We're here!" Brillena, the scout team's leader, shouted to us.

"Aboot bludy time!"

Yes, about bloody time indeed. It took us nearly five days to reach this place. Even though the slowest of us can travel for more than 60 kilometers a day, easy. We have to hide, backtrack and go around several pockets of miasma. Even then, it's still more than 160 kilometers from Trevellen. Even Barrowmeen is around 70 kilometers away.

If the dungeon is real, then that is a lot of ground to cover. And the dungeon will attract a lot of people to come here. And the more people there, the more Nether beasts will come here to attack.

"There it is, Masters. There is the entrance to the dungeon." Brillena pointed to the mountains east of us.

"Ye sure of dat, lassie?"

"Yes, Master Grumman. The entrance itself is partially concealed by a rocky outcrop. We haven't been able to get past the first room beyond the entrance before we forced to leave. We were low on supplies, two of us were wounded, Thank Mailah'ken that they were free of Nether taint, and the Nether Tide will blanket the entire area for a week. And the existence of a dungeon is very important, as Master Marius will always exhort on us when I was still in training."

"And what made you suspect that this is adungeon."

"I just followed what you have taught us, Master Marius. Look for something strange or unusual when scouting out areas. And what we found was very strange."

"What did you find?"

"A shop."

----------------------------------------

Hurgh... What the hell happened?

Ah, yes. I was dead. And now I'm not.

Wow, am I seeing double...

Right. Double existence. Trippy.

So, first things first. "Status?"

I have a System. I have a (bleep) System.

ARGH! What the hell? Wait hell is valid but (bleep) is not? Curse you, you, you...

A letter falls down in front of me.

'Hello, my boy. So first off, congratulations! I'm sure you're excited to get started. But I forgot to tell you some things that was included in the general knowledge gift. Things that will help you immensely in your tasks. So I'm now including them in this letter.'

'As you already know, dungeons absorbs the corruption in Nether, turning it back into pure mana. It also has a curious side effect of destroying Nether creatures that gets inside your dungeon. It's a slow process and they will cause damage to the dungeon in their efforts to escape. The more powerful they are, the slower the process is. But the more powerful the dungeon becomes, the faster you destroy them. It also has the side effect of trapping the Nether creature inside the dungeon until it or dungeon is destroyed.'

'And language, young man. Yes, Hell is allowed because there is a literal Hell in Ehritrinia. No, I'm not removing the censor. So good luck to you. You'll gonna need it.'

(Bleep) you (bleep) piece of (bleep). And stop calling me boy, you absolute (bleep).

Another note falls.

'I've existed long before your universe even existed. I have witnessed the fall of kingdoms, civilization, even the creation and destruction of entire dimensions. So no, I'm won't stop calling you boy.'

(Bleep).

So I looked back at my Status. One is for my Human self, the other for my Dungeon Core self. Good thing he... it?... whatever the (bleep) that being is, has forgotten to give me a name. I can choose for myself. Nice...

Name: Unnamed Dungeon > Name: The Dungeon of Salvation.

(BLEEEEEEEEEP!!!) What the (bleep) is this? I already have a cool name I wanted to use for my Dungeon. ARGH!!! *Incoherent rants and raging ensues.*

*Panting noise* Calm down. Calm down. Maybe I can change it? Yeah, maybe I can. Let's change the name.

'Name already selected. Cannot change name.'

*More raging, ranting and (censored) ensues*

----------------------------------------

Okay, so. I'm calm now. In fact I'm very happy right now.

After that 'incident', I decided to complete my Status before that (bleep) decides to interfere. Now the Name for my Human??? self is Henry Thompson. It's not my real name. Only the first name is.

And what the hell is those question marks in my Race. Am I not completely Human anymore? Is it a side effect of me being of two existences at the same time? Accessing it gives me nothing except what my race bonuses are.

Plus 1 free Attribute point per class level. 10% bonus exp for skill learning.

Nice bonuses I might add.

The 'Reborn One' title in my Human self gives skill learning bonuses to skills that I have known in my past life. Which is not much unless you consider using cheats in every game that I have ever played. The 'Ensouled Dungeon' title on my Dungeon Core self, on the other hand, gives me 10 times Mana and Corruption capacity.

Now what I was really happy for is my blessing, 'Dual Existence, One Being'. Why? Because it makes virtually undying, as long as one of my existence, well, exists.

Okay, let me elaborate. What is basically boils downs to is that as long as one of my existences is alive, the other can come back after 3 days. But not without penalties. For my Human self, I lose a level in all classes that I have. For my Dungeon Core self, it's even worse; I have to start back from Rank 0. Yep, back to square one if my Dungeon Core self gets the case of the dead.

But that's just the tip of the iceberg. Double beginning stats. Immunity from mind control. My Human self can teleport back to my Dungeon self anytime, without restrictions. It cannot even be blocked by teleport denial wards and 'Dimension Lock', the most powerful Class 10 anti-movement spell. And my Human self will never gain the 'Stunned'. Yay for Double Existence.

Okay, there are some difference in how to increase you power between beings and dungeons. For Beings like my Human self, there are Levels. For dungeons, it's Rank.

Beings gains levels for the classes they have. Yes, classes.

Nope, focus first on level gaining then on classes itself.

Beings gains levels for the classes they have. To do this, you have to gain experience or EXP. To gain EXP, you have to kill monsters, complete quests, etc. You know, standard leveling mechanics.

Now, for dungeon cores it's slightly different. Instead they gain Rank and Rank Points, RP for short. You gain RP differently, too. Dungeon Cores gain RP by unlocking things for their dungeons to use, like biomes, spawnable creatures, themes, traps, treasures, anything. Yes, it's like an 'Achievement Unlocked' thing. Another way is to build up my dungeon. More floors, more rooms, more monsters, more traps, more RP. Neat.

Now onto classes. YAY!!!

Well, you can get multiple classes. That's a good way to become overpowered, right? Wrong.

Why, because the EXP gain is split evenly between all classes you are using. You heard me right, split even.

To give you an example. You kill a LVL1 Goblin. Now they're worth 10 EXP, without bonuses. If you have only one class. that class gains 10 EXP.

But if you have two classes, they don't get 10 EXP each. It will get split evenly, 5 EXP per class. Also, no decimal points. 0.5 EXP is zero EXP. And no, you won't get it back if you get another 0.5 EXP. That too will be lost. And that applies even if you get max level for your classes. EXP will still be split evenly between ALL classes. You will just lose that split EXP. And to get more than 2 classes you will the blessing of a God.

But it doesn't mean it's not good. You get all bonuses granted by every class you have. You have access to all skill, ability and spell trees for all classes you have. You even get special skills, abilities and spells unlocked if you have their class requirements. Like Arcane Blade if you have both a sword-using combat class and an arcane-type caster class. And several classes required levels in other classes to unlock.

And oh my, there are a lot of classes to choose from. Warrior, Rogue, Ranger, Mage, Druid...

Why is there no Priest or any Divine-type caster? Wait, why is my status saying there are no more gods? What, they abandoned the world when all the dungeons were. What the (bleep)?

Inhale. Exhale. Deep breaths. Calm down. Fuck the Gods and their bullshit ways.

Wait, how the hell was I able to curse the Gods.

Another note falls down.

'You can curse those... 'things' as much as you want. That's the only loophole there is. Also, new side mission, stop the worship to those (bleep). I want anything, anything, that mentions them, even how minuscule it is, to be erased from the face of this world. No exceptions.'

Wow, you must have really a grudge against them.

"YES, I HAVE. THEY ARE AN ANATHEMA TO THIS WORLD'S PROSPERITY. THEY LET THE WORLD EXIST BUT HAMPERED IT'S PROGRESS. AND ALLOWED THOSE ACCURSED DARK ONES TO GAIN A FOOTHOLD IN THIS WORLD. NOW, GET TO IT."

Could you have warned me if you're going to do that. I preferred the notes to that.

Wait, why is my nose bleeding. And why are there cracks in my Core self?
