The Truth

This is going one of those days, isn't it?

Oh, how I hate it.

That time when I found out I got a B- on a group project while my groupmates got A+. Or that time when my parents had to pay for damages, even if it is was the (bleep) (bleep) fault that he run me over in wide, empty, four-lane street. In a clear, sunny morning. While the (bleep) was in the wrong side of the (bleep). Or that time when I found out my girlfriend was pregnant. Did I tell you I'm a virgin until now? Yep, that two-timing (bleep) can go (bleep) off.

(Bleep) them all.

And now these... gentleman... should I (bleep) call them gentleman at this point? Is asking me questions that I don't know the answer. I'm not LVL100. And the only response I'm getting from my (bleep) benefactor is laughter. (Bleep).

And if what they're telling is true, then lots of Max-Levels ... wait, if they can if can increase their EXP, then they can increase their levels. So they're no longer Max-Levels, right? Okay, LVL100s then. They will flood the dungeon and turn it into their EXP grinding area.

Good thing I have the 'Instance' ability then. Multiple copies of a dungeon floor, or even the Dungeon itself.

And now realizing why the (bleep) gave it to me. It was so (bleep) good to be true.

Oh well, guess I'm gonna have speed up my plans for the Dungeon expansion.

----------------------------------------

"I can't answer your question."

"What de feck ye mean ye can't answer de damn fecking queshthun?" (Bleep) dwarf can (bleep) curse anytime he wants but I can't? (Bleep) accent.

"I mean I can't answer it 'cause I don't know the (bleep) answer! My (bleep) benefactor is only laughing at me when I'm trying to ask why you guys can now go beyond LVL100."

"If what you are telling is true..."

"It's (bleep) true."

"Then that means we cannot obtain any information here. It's either we ask your 'benefactor, or ask them."

"Them. Oh, you mean those fuckers."

A note falls down in front of us. Okay, now you're just (bleep) messing with us. Well, time to see what he has to tell.

The note reads. 'No need to ask them. This is all their entire fault. They are the ones to suppress the amount of power that the inhabitants of Ehritrinia can gain. They imposed the LVL100 limit on this world to limit the amount of people that can challenge their power.'

'And they are the reason why the Nether exists in the first place.'

'When they have usurped the power of this world, they have forgotten that the world is an entire entity on itself. When they imposed their laws on it, the world fought back. When they sealed the world's consciousness, they broke the cycle. And with it the Corruption spread to the world. And with Corruption, came Nether. Desperate for a solution, they turned to me.'

'Dungeons existed before the gods even came to Ehritrinia. But the ability to cleanse the Nether was my addition. I created it from the dungeons' ability to absorb and assimilate anything inside them. Especially anomalies. With the limitations they imposed on what I can do, this was the best thing that I can do.'

'And they betrayed me after that.'

'They are usurpers. They took the power of this world granted by the System. And they didn't even took responsibility for it. They may imposed order on this world. But only to establish dominance on this world. They didn't even took the time to learn how Ehritrinia works. How the inhabitants came to be. How monsters exists. How dungeons exists. No. They only took power, thinking that it will enough for them to control the world.'

'And that is the reason why they can't create new dungeons. Or even come close to one. They are considered anomalies by Ehritrinia. And what do you think the dungeons will do to them?'

'But they needed the dungeons. Without it, Nether will flood the world. And the Nether will eventually consume them, too. So they will have to abandon this world.'

'So, why they didn't try to stop you, gentlemen, from destroying the dungeons? They can easily do that, right? Wrong.'

'As I said they never learned about the world except for what suits them. They thinks the inhabitants are just lesser beings, worthy of nothing. But in truth they need them, badly.'

'Why? Belief. The power they gain from belief is tiny, especially if the person only pays lip service. But, millions of devout followers is not something to sneeze. They crave it. They want it.'

'They need it.'

'But why is this connected to them not stopping us, you wonder?'

'Perception. And Belief.'

'If their believers learned that they are against the destruction of the dungeons, doubt will start to form. With doubt comes disbelief. And with disbelief comes people searching for the truth. And the truth will come out. If the truth comes out, they will lose their believers. And they depend on them for the power they crave.'

'Yes, they can still impose the LVL100 limitation and several other limitations on you, due to it being a ability that they usurped from the world. But that is the extent of their own powers.'

'The truth is that their power is limited. And it was waning, fast.'

'So when the last dungeon was destroyed, they fled. They fear the consequence of their actions. And in doing so, weakened their control on Ehritrinia. Because of it, I was able to create a new dungeon from what I have learned by studying them. And the world consciousness will eventually awaken, eradicating the dungeons entirely.'

'But that also opened the world to a whole new set of problems. Problems that comes from beyond this dimension.'

'Inter-dimensional beings. Powerful empires. Cults of all shapes and sizes. Monstrous creatures that devour entire worlds. And Corruption wanting to plunge Existence itself to the Abyss.'

'So become stronger. Exceed the limitations imposed on you. You'll gonna need it.'

'PS: Oh and Henry, I'm gonna grant your origin world access to your Dungeon. They will need it.'

Fuck.
