The dinner was awkward like expected. Yi Jie who's fierce like always didn't let any of her Mother in law's side comment slide. She responded like the tough woman she is. Su Mo who happen to be caught in the middle of the mess tried to hold his temper. The maids giggled on the side as they watch the Young Miss, and the elder Madam bicker at each other. 


"Can you two quit it? Su Shen is inside the room, but he can hear the yelling."he warned as he took a sipped of his water. "She started it"his mother said. "Well, you didn't have to come."Yi Jie said. Su Mo glared at her. 


Yi Jie walked out without finishing her meal. The older Madam sighed, giving Su Mo a face as if saying I told you so. She left the villa after. Su Mo slammed the door after entering Yi Jie's study room. "Are you trying to ruin me?"he asked. "No"Yi Jie said. "I told you right? You need to start acting properly."Su Mo warned. "What if I won't?"Yi Jie asked. "Then that lover of yours will suffer."Su Mo said. "I did it once, I can do it again."he said slightly pushing her away from him.


Yi Jie clenched her fist. "He's not my lover"she murmured as she tried to wipe her tears. "Yi Jie, hold it in."she said trying to calm herself. Yi Jie entered the bedroom after few hours working in her study room. Su Mo who was working on the table paused. Grabbing a pillow, he left the room without saying a word. 


Su Mo sighed entering the guest room. He's not planning on sleeping here tonight, he'll just wait until Yi Jie fall asleep then he can go sneak back inside their bedroom. Opening his laptop, he started working again until midnight. After yawning few times, Su Mo went back inside the room. Yi Jie was already sleeping when he took the spot next to hers. 


Staring at his wife's calm face, "You look so charming when your asleep."he murmured then he also fell asleep. The next morning, the two of them woke up at the same time. Staring at each other, as if waiting for someone to speak first. "I'm sorry about how I acted last night, I should have known my place."Yi Jie started. "Your Mrs. Su, that's your place"Su Mo said. "I just need you to act that part well."he said as he cleared the messy hair covering her face. Giving her a kiss on her lips. "Yi Jie, you are mine"he said as he tightly hold her,  leaving his mark on hers that morning. 


Su Mo left the room first, while Yi Jie clean up. Staring at her body full of his marked in front of the mirror, she sighed as she tried her best to pick an outfit that could cover most of it. Su Shen who was getting ready for kindergarten stare at his mom. "Mommy, are you okay?"he asked. "Yes I am"Yi Jie said picking him up. "I heard the yelling last night, did grandma tried to hurt you again?"the young boy asked. "Of course not, grandma is nice...don't say that again okay?"Yi Jie replied. Su Shen nod without saying a word.  


Su Mo head straight to the company, "Ning, do you have the documents?"he asked "Yes Boss"he said handing it to him. "Li Zhen Yan...who exactly are you"Su Mo thought as he look at the documents in front of him. He have been searching for answers for years now, and they didn't get a lead until last year. The orphanage where Li Zhen Yan grew up.
