Apologies

Ezlynn and Collins were crawled up in Ezlynn's bed after eating and coaxing Collins to garb himself with "proper clothing". The sun was radiating brightly by the time they had gone to bed, but the thick curtains of Ezlynn's room had prevented any source of the luminary. Werewolves, just like Vampires were prone to sunlight. It had been a truism to humans that Vampires were prone to sunlight, but Werewolves had been reticent about such an advantageous weakness.

"Collins?" she said, sleepiness in her voice.

"What's the matter?" Collins whispered, stroking a strand of her hair.

"...Never mind. I'm tired. Let's go to sleep."

"....Okay." Collins smiled at her a second before she dozed off.

Although he was fatigued as well, he observed her with his alluring, bright gold eyes. Nothing had changed about her appearance, but she suddenly seemed so innocuous and susceptible. Suddenly, Collins's expression crinkled, as he wrapped his bulwark arm around Ezlynn's body and pulled her closer.

"Listen carefully, Ezlynn." he said, sadly, "I'm only gonna say this once."

Collins paused, then gently kissed her on the forehead.

"I'm sorry."
