Gary walked in to the hall the school was massive it was also completely covered in St Kuffberts banners and trophy cabinets. The students were in a massive crowd in front of him and he was a bit overwhelmed by how many there were. Then some kids started a welcome song for him and some others danced. This was so much different than he imagined.
The kids twirled and leaped. He laughed as their dance got a little more inappropriate. The song seemed to echo around the large entrance hall. The hall had lots of old wooden beams supporting the roof and walls, it seemed like a very old building compared to his modern house. The white walls had been tinted over the years and were now a yellowish-grey colour. For a school that was supposed to teacher mayor's kids it really wasn't in that good of a shape.
He looked at all the other kids, they all looked the same in their navy blue uniform and red ties. The girls all had their hair wrapped up into a bun and the guys all had similar hairstyles. He wouldn't be needing the clothes he'd brought then, he thought as he looked at his suitcase.
Then the song stopped and everyone clapped - Gary included - and two students stepped forward, one was a guy and the other was a girl.
"Welcome to St Kuffberts!" The male student announced in a monotonous voice.
