Punishment - Rainbow

By the time Rainbow got back home, Starlight was struggling to get the little kids to go to sleep in their cribs. Rainbow smiled at her sister's valiant efforts and lifted her hands using a sleep spell on them. Starlight grinned, thinking that she'd succeeded.

Rainbow headed upstairs quietly and walked into her own room to go to sleep. Her mother was in there.

She grasped at her throat frantically trying to get any air she could. "You will not see him again." Kathrine commanded, her voice slow and cold. Rainbow's eyesight went fuzzy as her tears dripped down her cheeks.

"Please...!" She choked out, as her consciousness faded. Her mother tightened her grip of the air in front of her - touching Rainbow would be horrendous. Rainbow gasped and choked falling onto her hands and knees.

Rainbow collapsed and Kathrine let go of the magic tutting. If Rainbow actually practiced her magic she would have been able to get out of that...
