Chapter 5 - Qi! Come here~

While sucking mom's delicious teat on autopilot, all I could think was where's the Qi??? Huh? What? Shet. Hooo. Calm down Runa. Remember the feeling of mom's healing technique. Search for the trace of that feeling in the milk. Focus. Warm, sweet, tasty milk. uhmmmmm~ hum huu hum huu hum hum~ hmm?! The trace! I felt it! I'm sure. It's very faint though. I drank it already, so I need to find it in my stomach before it's gone. Where is it? That soft, light, gentle feeling.... THERE! FOUND IT! YES! Okay, now try to beckon the Qi towards me. Yes Qi, come to papa.... wait...

*inwardly shakes head*

The Qi barely budges closer to my oesophagus. Yes! It moved! It actually works! Just using your will. I'll research it later, for now, I need to find a good place to store it. I don't think I have a dantian, at least, not yet. Perhaps.... yeah, I'll bring it to my heart.

Come along, little Qi, come into my heart. Stay in my blood, and flow throughout my whole body okay? The Qi followed my wishes and passed through my stomach walls towards my heart.

Huh, how does it pass through physical material? No, later. I need to pay more attention to the milk for more Qi. Since mom mentioned she used dad's Qi as well, maybe I could find Qi that is opposite in attribute to mom's Qi. So, hard, heavy, harsh feeling..... Huh, it's much easier to find it. Maybe because it sticks out like a sore thumb?? It seems like it might be difficult to pull Yang Qi like I did with Yin Qi. Considering Yang is completely opposite to Yin, it wouldn't be anywhere near as obedient as Yin. I'll try at least.

Heh it's not even intending to budge at all. Maybe I could use the Yin Qi to lure the Yang Qi over. Since Yang can conquer Yin, so can Yin conquer Yang. Where is it? Oh. it's in my lungs.

Okay little Qi, let's go tempt that big guy over. Hehehe, here we come, little Yang~

Hmm, I think I should employ a strategy so I could lure little Yang over. Let's see.

Concentrate onto a point, and stretch a tendril towards little Yang, while slowly moving towards the heart, okay little Yin?

As the Yin Qi did as I asked, the Yang Qi noticed the Yin Qi under my wishes. The Yang Qi got agitated and started chasing the Yin Qi.

Wow. Real aggressive. Move faster little Yin! Pull back the tendril and spread out around the heart like a blanket!

As the Yang Qi almost captured the tendril of Yin Qi sent to lure it, the Yang Qi rushed into my heart.

Ooofh! Feels like heartburn! Quick, Yin! Surround Yang and envelope it!

As the blanket of Yin Qi moved to trap the Yang Qi, the Yang Qi tried to rampage so it could escape the entrapment, but it was too late. Try as it may, it could not break through the gentle Yin Qi that redirects its force elsewhere.

After a while, I collected some more Yin Qi while waiting for the Yang Qi to settle down. With more Yin Qi surrounding the Yang Qi, it's is now impossible for it to escape now. Perhaps it had a chance before because the first trace of Yin Qi was quite the bit thinner than the Yang Qi, but it is hopeless now.

There there little Yang, settle down, and listen to me, okay??

*slams against everywhere*

The Yang Qi was still obstinate. It's almost like a hyperactive kid. Hmmm what should I do? Yang Qi is inherently overbearing.... I need a way to permanently subdue it or it might flare up..and the me right now definitely can't afford such a thing happening in my body. Hmmmmm.... 3 ways. I currently can think of.

The first is to fight fire with fire. I could use Yang Qi against Yang Qi, though it might be counterproductive, since they come from a similar source.

The second is similar, to subdue Yang Qi's overbearingness with my own overbearing will. I don't have something anywhere near that, so not now.

The final one would be trying to lure the Yang Qi into a Yin-Yang cycle..... it's the safest, but also the most complicated. How am I supposed to do it?? The Yang Qi is like a hyperactive kid that won't listen.....

That's it! By coaxing it! The Yang Qi instinctively(?) chases the Yin Qi, so all I need to do spread out my blanket of Yin Qi and separate a small part of Yin Qi, send it towards the Yang Qi, lure the Yang Qi into running around in circles and voila! Yin-Yang cycle complete!.... I hope. Well, let's try it shall we?

Yin, spread out and blanket my heart on the inside, and separate out a little Yin and send it towards the little Yang.

As it happens, little Yang got confused because it suddenly had nobody to play with.

Awww, don't worry, little Yin is coming over~

As the Yang Qi hit nothing and continued straight on, it noticed the little bit of Yin Qi and started chasing it.

Little Yin! Stretch out into a rope! Let little Yang chomp on your tail as you circle around it and pull little Yang with you!

As the Yin Qi did as I told, the Yang Qi got lured into chasing the Yin Qi and enveloped the tail of the Yin Qi, as if to devour it. And slowly, the Yang Qi grew and the Yin Qi diminished.

Oops! Shet! Little Yin! Chomp on little Yang's tail! Devour it! Yin! Back little Yin up a little!

As the Yang Qi grew stronger by consuming the string of Yin Qi, a tendril of Yin Qi separated from the blanket and went towards the so-called cycle, and the little strand of Yin Qi tried to do the same back to the Yang Qi, but it seems futile...

Come on, Backup Yin! Faster! Get a move on! Little Yin is going to be gone!

Just as the Yin Qi was about to be completely consumed by the overbearing -now- tendril of Yang Qi, the Yin Qi finally arrived and gave the little Yin the boost it needed. Little Yin finally started consuming Little Yang back.

Hmm... did it work? Oops, nope, little Yang is starting to dwindle. Little Yin, hold back a little. ...Huh? Little Yin didn't react? What's going on? Uh oh. I think little Yin is going on a rampage like little Yang. Shit. I need to do something..... Yin, send out a tendril and capture the little Yangs out there, quickly!

As the blanket of Yin Qi in my heart thinned, a few tendrils spread out towards mom's milk and started capturing strings of Yang Qi and swallowed it whole like a tentacle mouth reaching out to swallow defenceless women...

*raises an eyebrow*

huh, the places my thoughts go to... Anyway, quick, bring the little Yangs to the cycle! The strings of Yang Qi was pulled along the tendrils and ejected towards the Yang Qi in the cycle, bolstering its forces. Whew. This is tiresome. The balance is so delicate!
